My GoBank card keeps getting declined for every purchase, even with $* transactions. I tried amazon and I was declined, then Best Buy online, then Wal-Mart in person and online. I was declined each time I tried using my card throughout the week. I have more than enough money in the account, so a purchase of $** should be okay right? Of course I talked to multiple representatives that have all told me the same thing. They say that my card shows active and I should be able to use it and that it could be declined if it’s an unusual charge or large amount. They told me that if they report the error the transaction can be redone in around an hour.. which is pointless because I already bought the items using a different card after getting declined. I tried to do a cash advance at * local banks and for some reason it just didn’t work. And for some reason ATM’s can’t read the magnetic strip on my card and I can’t withdraw any cash. I’ve been contacting customer support all week trying to get everything solved and they all say my funds are available and card is active, so everything should process without a problem. They said it could possibly be the on merchants end of the transaction, but it’s been happening with multiple stores on multiple days. I’ve hit my limit with the “send money” feature, so I can’t send money to my paypal account. They don’t allow you to link another bank account to transfer your money to. I ordered checks, but they won’t come for * weeks, and now the only money I have is in that account and unreachable. They say that they do not have an answer and the information they have is all they can work with. They can’t transfer my money or raise my sending limits, that would be fine for a month if my card was not getting declined **% of the time. I’ve asked to talk to a supervisor and they told me the supervisor would contact me within ** hours. I have not gotten a call. The last call I made was about an hour ago. I spent ** mins on hold and ** mins talking to a representative with no answers up until the rep hung up on me. I don’t know what to do at this point.
