Unfortunately, it turned out to be a scam, and money was transferred to your bank with account number [redacted]74 and routing number [redacted]62. I am trying to recover $7,[redacted].00. I have noticed a previous scam involving your bank as well. I kindly request your assistance in tracing the funds and returning them. Additionally, I attempted to contact the toll-free number provided but was unable to speak with a representative. Your prompt help in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your attention to this issue. For a resolution, Gobank needs to investigate and report the individuals behind this scam to the authorities. It is essential to hold them accountable under the legal system. If Gobank can assist in identifying them, my company is prepared to take legal action. These incidents damage Gobank's reputation. It's concerning that I couldn't reach a live person when contacting the support number. Implementing improvements in customer service is vital. Please assist me in resolving this matter.

I encountered a serious issue with GoBank yesterday and found the customer service to be quite disappointing. This experience prompted me to look into the bank further, especially concerning their partnership with Walmart. I lodged a complaint with the Comptroller of Currency as banks with an FDIC number should be held accountable. I prefer dealing directly with the law and facts without the need for an unethical attorney. I will pursue this matter and have even mentioned the CEO's name as the individuals handling calls seemed unhelpful. I hope to resolve this today, but will not hesitate to continue with my complaint if necessary. The behavior of these banks has become unacceptable.

I have been employed at the same company for a year and a half and receive direct deposit. Recently, I received a paper check but cannot access the funds for a week, despite it being from the same company that has been depositing my pay for over a year. The check is verified, yet I am facing a 7-day delay which is causing me financial hardship and the risk of losing my job as I have no funds for transportation to work. When I contacted a representative, I was met with dismissiveness and even laughter over my situation, making me feel discriminated against and frustrated. This company is the worst to communicate with a live representative. I opened an account with GoBank through Uber over three weeks ago and have not received any responses via email. I contacted Uber, and they provided me with a number to call. Upon calling, I was asked to input my debit card number or SSN, but the system kept saying it was invalid regardless of what I entered. I was on the phone for over 20 minutes attempting to reach someone to address the lack of communication regarding the new account. It is frustrating when a bank makes it difficult to speak to a live representative, indicating a lack of care for new customers or a disinterest in interacting with clients. I would rate GoBank 1 star at this point, and I am only getting this card because I drive for Uber. Otherwise, I would never choose to open an account with this bank and do not recommend it if you want to easily speak to someone.

I am facing an issue with my GoBank Mastercard as there is a security lock on it preventing me from paying my electricity bill or accessing my funds. I have been attempting to secure an online loan and today I was contacted by Go Bank. The individual who called me identified himself as Matthew Hoffman and advised me that my loan was approved. He provided me with an approval code and then connected me to verification officer Shawn Miller. Miller instructed me to obtain a Go Bank MasterCard from Wal Mart and load $[redacted] on it as my loan is unsecured. Afterward, I was to contact him with the last 8 digits of the card for the loan to be added to it. I am unsure if this is a standard procedure. I am in urgent need of the loan and am concerned about potential scams. I appreciate your time and attention in addressing this matter.

I applied for an Uber Visa Debit Card through Uber's rewards on the Uber Driver App, but I mistakenly received a GoBank Visa Debit Card in the mail. After activating and registering the GoBank card with the app using the same email as my Uber account, I later received the correct Uber Visa Debit Card. GoBank cancelled the first card, but I cannot activate the new one on the Uber app because my email is linked to a closed account. I am unable to add the correct card to my existing GoBank app account. Uber's helpdesk has not been useful, and GoBank's support system only leads me through repetitive menus without connecting me to a live representative. I need assistance adding my new Uber Visa Debit Card to my account on the GoBank app.

I purchased a card at Walmart in Stillwater, Oklahoma on 08/14/18 at 14:18:01. I loaded $25 on it, but there is no record of the purchase. The store number is [redacted], and I have the receipt. The receipt shows a voided transaction where I used a GoBank card, which was declined, so I paid for the card with cash. I called GoBank immediately about the declined $25 transaction, and was told it would take 3 weeks to be returned. After 4 months, I still haven't received the money. The GoBank card I paid cash for is also problematic. I tried to set it up, but GoBank informed me there was no record of the card being purchased and that it holds no value. Despite emailing [redacted] to submit a claim, I haven't heard back in 4 months. Can anyone provide assistance?

I purchased a Go Bank card at Walmart in Springfield, Ohio for $[redacted].95 to be used for a loan deposit. A woman named Jessica Williams called me to get a loan for $[redacted] and took the card information, then instructed me to contact your bank manager named Michael Smith at phone number [redacted]. He directed me to a person named Daniel Carmen who is supposed to be a bank manager and asked for fees totaling $[redacted].95. When he requested more money which I didn't have, he stopped responding. I attempted to use the Go Bank card number in your automated system, but it said the card was invalid. I am now out $[redacted].95. I have the Go Bank card I purchased and the Walmart receipt. Thank you, Frank C. Warren.

It's been over five days, and tomorrow will mark the sixth day since they asked me to verify my account. I tried to withdraw $80 at Walgreens to pay a bill, but my card isn't functioning. It won't work as debit or credit, so the money is trapped in the account. I need access to my funds as soon as possible. I recently got a call from Jennifer Williams, claiming to be a loan agent at Gobank. She mentioned I was approved for a $22,[redacted] loan, but we settled on $15,[redacted]. Then, I spoke to Alex Parker, a loan verification officer, who confirmed the loan. He explained that to access the funds, I needed to purchase a Gobank card at a store and load $[redacted] onto it as a gesture of good faith. Once the card was loaded, I would receive the $15,[redacted] within minutes. Since I've fallen for scams before, I requested loan documents via email. After reviewing the email, which appeared to be from Gobank, I'm still unsure and would like a second verification from Gobank. I need to know if this is a legitimate offer.

However, after multiple purchases and attempts to transfer the funds, I was informed about a supposed red flag on my name due to a scam. Despite being pressured to buy another card to resolve this, I contacted the FDIC and confirmed it was a scam. Be cautious if you encounter similar situations.

My name is Sonia Cordova, and I have been very patient for about four and a half months dealing with a bad experience with GoBank. This has been the third time I've cried due to the disrespectful treatment from their customer service. Despite keeping records of transactions, they accused me of lying, put me on hold, and failed to provide me with any help regarding my account. On my son's birthday, January 30th, I was instructed to check my balance at an ATM, only to find that my card was invalid. It's frustrating that despite providing all the necessary personal information, GoBank cannot assist me because I can't remember my phone number accurately. My child support, deposited at the end of January, is inaccessible, leading to a distressing situation where my son and I had to walk in the rain and cold just to face the embarrassment of a declined card. The customer service treatment I received was poor, and I sincerely hope to recover my child support and the owed reimbursement for my kids.

Receiving the text verification code proved challenging and opting for the "call" method was unproductive. Despite multiple attempts to have the code sent to my phone at [redacted], I received no success. Opting for the "call me instead" option verified my number but failed to provide the necessary code for advancement. Subsequent calls did not connect me to a representative to address my specific issue. I urgently request assistance from an English-speaking individual who can comprehensively understand and assist with my problem, avoiding repetitive inquiries that have yet to solve my dilemma.

My GoBank card has been consistently declined for purchases no matter the amount. I attempted transactions at different stores and even tried to do a cash advance at two banks, but nothing seemed to work. Even ATMs couldn't read the card's magnetic strip for cash withdrawals. Customer support confirms my card is active and funds are available, but the transactions keep failing. They mentioned it could be due to the merchant's end but the issue persists across various stores. Despite reaching the limit for sending money, I cannot transfer funds to my PayPal account as they don't allow linking to another bank.
