Dear Sir*Madam,*I write further to my earlier request for a refund which you dismissed by merely referring me to your Refund Policy. My response to that email would not go because it was sent with donotrepy address **First, I was told that my contract had not been closed but that narrative change and I was later told that GoDaddy are still maintaining part of the service. **The recent narrative was that my request has been reviewed but refused without any reason except to refer me to the company Refund Policy. Simple courtesy demands that you ought to direct me to the part of the Refund Policy you are relied on. **For clarity and completion, I hereby state the following facts for your perusal, consideration and speedy action that will help bring this ugly customer experience with GoDaddy to finality***NOVEMBER **** - Facts***) My new service provider has confirmed that they had transferred both the domain and hosting server **) The request to close my account was initially made via telephone on **st November **** **) Authorisation code was issued via email at **.**am on **st November **** * N***U(!!***N*P*E**) Email received on **th November **** at **.**am informing me that "transfer is ready to go" .**) Email received stating that account had been closed on **th November **** @ **.** GMT**DECEMBER **** - Facts*I) **st December ****, my record shows that a renewal notice was sent while I was away abroad **) **st December ****, my record shows that my credit card was charged **) **th Jan ****, I returned home and few days later, my credit card bill arrived and I discovered that the charge was made by GoDaddy. I then reviewed my email messages to discover the renewal notice and charge which should not have happened in the first instance. **According to my new service provider, everything touching and concerning domain and hosting was done and dusted on **th November ****. My intention to cancel with no option to renew at the end of December was made clear during the said telephone conversation on **st Nov ****. I also begged him to note on his system that my credit card must not be debited. **I therefore fail to understand why GoDaddy charged my credit card on **st Dec. **** after I cancelled on **st Non. **** and the transfer was completed on **th Nov. ****. In any event, the issue of refund policy should not be raised because I did not purchase any product and my credit card was charged in error - some * weeks after the account was closed. I immediately called as soon as I discovered the mistake on your part. **I take the liberty to plead with you to use your good offices to reconsider your decision and to refund my money. If this is not resolved soon, I will take the matter to my credit card company. *Regards,*NB Amadi
