Hello, I am currently using a GoDaddy business hosting plan and encountering issues while deploying my Laravel application. Despite successfully connecting via SSH and checking my nvm version (0.31), I am facing difficulties running npm commands to generate node modules for my project. Upon attempting npm install, I encountered the error messages relating to missing versions of required files such as libstdc++.so.6 and libc.so.6. As I rely on npm for asset compilation in my JavaScript-based frontend, any assistance or guidance to resolve this issue would be greatly valued. Thank you.

I recently launched my website on GoDaddy for the first time. I was able to figure out how to link my pages, but I'm facing issues with connecting my database. My website is built on .net MVC 5 using C#. While the site is up and running, I encounter an error every time there's a database connection. I've managed to resolve page connectivity errors, but the database connectivity problem persists. I transferred the domain name kadubahouse.co.in from [redacted] to [redacted], both registered customers at GoDaddy. Although all the processes were completed, the domain name is not showing under the products of the latter email. I am unsure of what steps to take next. I would appreciate it if you could guide me on how I can make sure that the domain name is under my ownership, as I plan to move a webpage from a subdomain of WordPress.com to my custom domain shortly.

Hello, I am currently attempting to make changes to a domain that was not originally developed by me. I am in the process of familiarizing myself with the setup and functionality of the website as I work on modifications. The domain operates on Cpanel with Joomla as its content management system. I have learned that I can edit/add files, upload images, and adjust html text through the GoDaddy File Manager. However, the previous developer's file organization was a bit confusing, making it challenging to navigate and understand the file structure. To make changes to the website's appearance and structure, I believe I need to utilize a website builder tool. Is GoCentral the only option available for a GoDaddy hosted site? If so, I am unsure where to locate this feature in my GoDaddy account. Furthermore, I am curious to know if a website using GoCentral will go offline if the subscription expires and needs renewal within 30 days. While trying to renew a website with just one item in my cart, I was shocked to see that Godaddy had added over $[redacted] in domain renewals without my authorization. I did not select a billing card or confirm the purchase, yet the charge went through. It seems like Godaddy sneakily adds extra fees to confuse customers during the renewal process. Even though I handle website payments regularly, I did not intend to renew for two years, as there was only one item in my cart and I did not select the renewal option on the account page. Their customer service was unhelpful when I called immediately after the charge, suggesting I cancel all my domains and start over instead of addressing the unauthorized renewal. This experience is frustrating and feels like an attempt to push unwanted purchases on customers. - EJ

I am currently facing a dilemma with my WordPress website as I have lost access to my login details due to a situation with the company handling it, Action Digital Media from Portland, OR. Despite selecting them after extensive research, multiple issues have come up, including unresolved services promised by Ivan. Following a series of emails and calls, I opted to terminate my engagement with their services. Although I reached out for my login information, I did not receive a response, leaving me unable to access my site at thegruder.com. Any assistance in resetting my login details would be greatly appreciated. I purchased a $1 monthly hosting plan with a Windows domain 4 or 5 days ago, but when I try to upload a theme to publish, it says the update failed. When I access the address, I see the message "This future page is the site of genius... or something like that." My domain is fundacionodecom.org. My username is julio2211, my password is Jerico22!, and my pin is [redacted]. PLEASE HELP ME. I DON'T KNOW ABOUT THIS STUFF.

I bought the Domain Broker service, but I haven't heard from any agent or broker yet. I reached out through the chat feature and spoke with Praveen, but he didn't provide any assistance. Calling didn't help either, as the wait time was too long. When I tried the chat again, I was connected with Haleema Begum, who was unhelpful. She provided the wrong email address and then three different email addresses. This experience has been frustrating. I am requesting a full refund from GoDaddy for this service.

While reviewing Godaddy's hosting plan, I proceeded to Checkout. To my surprise, there was no confirmation window before I was billed. The only thing displayed was the billing email and an SMS alert from my bank. I promptly canceled the plan and have been attempting to reach out to Godaddy's customer support to request a refund. The only available option, the "Chat now" button on their Contact us page, remains perpetually loading. I have made several attempts on both Chrome and Firefox. I disabled all add-ons and plugins, even utilized the Incognito mode, yet the Chat now button still does not load. Assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I pre-paid for a website design but was extremely dissatisfied with the result. After a 1.5-hour discussion with the project manager about the theme, style, and photos, the design delivered after ten days was merely a copy of my existing site, completely ignoring our conversation and even featuring misplaced images (like a cat next to dog training). I voiced my disappointment to the salesperson (no reply) and the representative, who asked me to list corrections. I explained that I did not want a redesign and requested a refund. Despite asking to speak to management, I have not received any response in over a month.

Contact your support person to unlock it, then try again." There is no information provided on how to contact the support person or why my account was blocked. I've encountered an issue with sending emails using Windows Live Mail that started two days ago on 12/9/19. This problem affects sending emails on both my desktop and laptop computers, as well as on both of my iPhones. My internet provider, Suddenlink, recommended contacting GoDaddy for assistance. Typically, I have been using port 80 for smtpout.secureserver.net for outbound mail with no problems; inbound is set to [redacted]. However, another account, [redacted], uses 25/[redacted] successfully. While for [redacted], using [redacted]/[redacted] only works intermittently. It appears the issue may be limited to lpcnet.com. I appreciate any help!"

I have encountered a troubling situation involving GoDaddy.com, Cogent Communications, and domainsbyproxy.com, which seems to be complicit in facilitating fraudulent and abusive behavior. Recently, a former employer posted a defamatory and false document about me online through GoDaddy.com, following my discovery of his criminal background. Despite his dismissal, the defamatory content remains online. Attempts to resolve this issue with GoDaddy and Cogent Communications have been unsuccessful as they each redirect responsibility to the other. The document is shielded by domainsbyproxy.com, preventing me from identifying the perpetrator. Legal action seems impractical in this scenario, and I find myself unfairly targeted. I am seeking assistance in having this defamatory content removed without incurring personal expenses. If you are able to help, I am willing to provide further evidence via email. I request no unsolicited emails or sharing of my details. Thank you for considering my situation.

I invested around $[redacted].00 in GoDaddy for website design and development. Despite providing all necessary details, the website they created is extremely poor in design. It appears unfinished and lacks the aesthetic I seek as a fine artist. If I have to micromanage every aspect, it defeats the purpose of hiring them. I hired GoDaddy precisely because I lack the time to handle the design myself. I believe the most efficient resolution would be a refund of the amount paid.

I'm facing an issue with our Display Name. It's currently set to Storms Construction, but clients only see it as Info when we send emails from [redacted] This causes our emails to be overlooked or marked as spam. I've attempted to change the displayed name to Storms Construction several times without success. It seems the only way to display the correct name is by changing our email address to [redacted] Unfortunately, this isn't feasible as our current email [redacted] is widely used in our communication and marketing materials. Previously, GoDaddy allowed this feature, but it seems they updated their system two years ago, leading to this issue. In short, I need emails sent from [redacted] to display as from Storms Construction without altering our email address.

I am experiencing difficulty cancelling the Office Business Premium subscription purchased through Microsoft. When trying to access my account, it redirects me to the GoDaddy dashboard with only the starter email visible. I would like to cancel this subscription and repurchase it through GoDaddy, including adding Azure for email encryption. Hello, I experienced an issue with my web hosting plan due to changes I made myself. After switching plans to test site speed and then trying to revert back to my original "Economy" plan, my website was inadvertently erased in the process. While I acknowledge the responsibility for not having backups, the removal of my website by support without my consent or notification is concerning. I reached out for compensation, but was informed that I do not qualify. Dear Sir/Madam, I am following up on my previous request for a refund that was rejected by referring me to your Refund Policy. I was informed initially that my account wasn't closed, but later was told differently. Despite my request review, it was declined with no explanation other than referencing the refund policy. I ask for clarity on the specific section of the policy being cited. To summarize the situation regarding my subscription with GoDaddy: In November [redacted]: 1) The new service provider confirmed the transfer of domain and hosting. 2) A request to close my account was made by phone on 21st. 3) An authorization code was emailed on the same day. 4) Confirmation to proceed with the transfer was received on 26th. 5) Account closure notification was received on the same day. In December [redacted]: 1) Renewal notice was sent while I was away. 2) My credit card was charged on 31st. 3) Upon my return in January [redacted], I found the charge on my bill. My new provider ensured all services were transferred by November 26th. I explicitly requested no renewal during the November call. I fail to understand the charge made by GoDaddy after cancellation. Given the circumstances, the refund policy should not apply as no product was purchased, and the charge occurred weeks post closure.
