GoDaddy SSL Certificate installed, but my webpage is still not secure
GetHuman-hybridd's customer service issue with GoDaddy.com from September 2018
Help with my GoDaddy.com issue
The issue in GetHuman-hybridd's own words
I recently purchased an SSL Certificate for my website. The SLL Certificate manager on GoDaddy says the certificate has been issued, but my website says it is not secure. From what I read, GoDaddy should handle the installation for me (indicated by me not able to download the certificate myself), but It doesn't seem to have worked. When should I expect the certificate be pushed to the site?
GoDaddy could improve the experience by adding automatically generated .htaccess files for cPanel websites to ensure webpage security.
I have an issue with GoDaddy.com too
How GetHuman-hybridd fixed the problem
After talking to a GoDaddy representative, they suggested I make an .htaccess file to redirect from http to https. After creating the .htaccess file using their guide (available at https:**www.godaddy.com*help*redirect-http-to-https-automatically-****), my site then stated there may be some security issues with certain page elements. After making sure all element references (CSS stylesheets, images, etc) used either relative paths or secure absolute paths (https) the page finally said it was fully secure.*My particular certificate only allows the www domain to be secure and a Wildcard SSL certificate would need to be purchased to secure subdomains. I presume similar action would need to be taken.
