Hello, my name is Adrienne F. and I live in Smyrna, TN. I recently spoke with a representative from Go Bank who offered me a $[redacted] payday loan. Initially, I was asked to pay $[redacted] to kickstart the loan process. After attempting to deposit the money into my newly opened Sun Trust bank account, the bank closed my account due to a fraudulent check. I was then redirected to another agent named Roy Wilson, who advised me to purchase a Google Play card for $[redacted] to reverse the transaction and retrieve my funds. Following that, I was transferred to someone named Patrick who demanded additional payments of $[redacted], $[redacted], and $[redacted] to supposedly get my money back. The company has now taken $4,[redacted] from me and continues to request more money under the pretense of refunding my initial payment. They are asking for various types of fees including Value Added Tax fees, Western Union Fees, and Cancellation Fees. I am unsure if this company is legitimate or if I have fallen victim to a scam. They are now insisting on an additional $[redacted] payment for a $4,[redacted] refund. They have not provided me with an email address, website, or account number. Your advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I recently received a deposit of $[redacted] from Uber to my GoBank Uber card ending in 4[redacted] 0[redacted] expiring on 9/22. However, when trying to access the funds, GoBank claims the card is not registered. I've attempted to contact them through various phone numbers provided, but all I'm told is to upload a photo ID online, which I've been unable to do due to technical issues. This situation is urgent as my rent is due, and I'm unable to access my hard-earned money while facing possible eviction. I've noticed many others have faced similar problems with GoBank since October [redacted]. I'm unsure how to proceed or how to reach a live person at GoBank for assistance. I hope they can either mail me the $[redacted] or return it to Uber for them to issue it back to me promptly. Planet Fitness has been debiting my account for the past year, and Go Bank is repeatedly allowing the transactions. Despite their website claiming they would refund the money, they insist I fill out a form and endure a 45-day wait. The Gym informed me that unless I visit in person to sign documents indicating my desire to leave, they will continue charging me. Even though Planet Fitness is aware I no longer want their services, they persist in billing me, with Go Bank enabling this behavior. Now, Go Bank advises that the only way to stop this is to cancel my card and wait ten business days for a replacement linked to a new account, which is highly inconvenient. I recommend avoiding both Go Bank and Planet Fitness due to these issues.

My account was compromised, so I contacted to dispute unauthorized purchases. I reported the issue, canceled the card, and requested a new one. I provided details of the unauthorized transactions and was informed that a decision would be made within 10 days. However, I have not received any updates and when I call, I receive an automated message stating that GoBank cannot assist me at this time. I recently discovered that I have a Go Bank card that is missing. Green Dot allowed someone to obtain five cards in my name without my knowledge. Unfortunately, I am unable to access my Go Bank account to investigate what has been done. After contacting Green Dot, they advised me to reach out to you for assistance. Despite my calls to Go Bank, I have been unable to speak with anyone or obtain any information regarding the situation. It has been frustrating trying to resolve this issue, as it has been 15 days since I was supposed to receive a card from Green Dot. I am considering taking legal action for identity theft, as it seems someone, possibly Lela Ernst, is using my information unlawfully. If this matter is not addressed promptly, I may have to escalate it further.

Two days ago, I purchased a GoBank prepaid MasterCard at Walmart and loaded $[redacted] onto it at the register. I have contacted customer service regarding three pending transactions from an Uber trip that was canceled on April 28th, namely $11.23, $11.41, and $11.32. Uber confirmed they canceled the trips without charging me and notified GoBank. However, these transactions have not been reversed in my account for 9 days. I intend to reach out to all vendors that accept your card to inform them of the difficulty in accessing funds if the card is lost or stolen. My aim is to raise awareness through the media to caution the public against using this service due to the lack of human support and concerns about accessing essential funds, such as my Social Security income. Activating my card was a challenge. Unfortunately, even after activation, I cannot use it to pay my bills as intended. The rejections are frustrating because it restricts how I manage my finances. I urgently require a solution to this problem to settle my bills promptly. If I had been informed earlier that using the card I paid for, loaded with my money, and incurring a monthly fee of 8.95 would be problematic, I would not have opted for it. Moreover, the inability to reach customer service over the phone adds to the current difficulties I am facing.

I received a temporary card instead of a new card, and there are availability issues that are preventing me from transferring funds. Due to this, I have faced homelessness as I can't access my money. I need my funds to be transferred to my bank account, where my direct deposits are now being sent. I prefer not to receive a new card and would just like to speak with someone to provide transfer information to have my funds transferred today.

I noticed on Sunday, May 19th three charges appeared on my account consecutively from three grocery stores in Virginia Beach. I was not there, nor do I use this card for grocery shopping, except for reloading it at Walmart. I never used it at Kroger or Harris Teeter. I transferred the remaining funds to my husband's account, then I canceled my card and called customer service. The first person I spoke to abruptly ended the call, and the next one said a dispute was initiated for the pending charges, but they later posted to my account. After contacting customer service again, a new agent guided me through steps, provided a dispute number, and instructed me to write a detailed letter which I sent out. Despite their assurance to take disputes seriously, I have not received any update. Unauthorized charges totaling $[redacted] occurred over a hundred miles away from my location, and I am apprehensive about using the new card.

Speaking with customer service, I was promised assistance with the dispute. Despite being reassured, the charges went through. I reached out again, detailing the situation to another representative who provided a dispute number and further steps to follow. I am frustrated with the service provided. I do not understand why there is a membership fee for a card I cannot use. The website prompts me to verify my email and phone number for additional functions, but I am unable to proceed. I require access to online banking to deposit my work checks since the bank is closed by the time I finish work, and I have three payroll checks to deposit.
