In my contacts app, I have Ken's correct email address listed as [redacted] I've successfully removed the old address [redacted] from my contacts. However, when I try to compose an email to Ken on my phone, the old address still auto-populates. Unlike on my laptop where I could easily access Gmail contacts and make the necessary changes, I'm struggling to find out how to do this on my Samsung Galaxy S8. Currently seeking assistance from T-Mobile, I'm unsure if this is the right path to resolution. I'm looking for guidance on how to edit my Gmail contacts directly on my phone. Despite being able to view them, I can't seem to locate an edit option to delete outdated information. Appreciate any help. Thanks, June.

This morning, my Gmail account was hacked even though it had two-step verification enabled, and all my data was synced to it. I couldn't check my recovery email address promptly, but I later saw three emails. The first indicated that my account was successfully recovered. The second mentioned that the hacker used my recovery email address, which was already set as my recovery email. The third and fourth emails were in Russian, stating that the recovery email address and phone number had been changed. When I tried to follow the link provided by Gmail to confirm that it wasn't me, it requested my password, which was then indicated as changed five hours prior. When I attempted to reset the password, I was asked for a recovery number that ended in 75, but mine ends in 24. Despite providing this, it was deemed incorrect. Next, they requested the recovery email address, but the letters shown did not match mine. The final step was to provide an alternative email for contact. I am anxious to recover my email account where I stored years' worth of pictures, contacts, and other valuable data. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

This morning, my Gmail account was hacked. Despite having two-step verification, the hacker successfully recovered my account. I received emails on my recovery email, but couldn't check them promptly. The first email confirmed the account recovery, and the second mentioned the hacker using my recovery email as their own. The third and fourth emails were in Russian, indicating changes to the recovery email and phone number. When attempting to recover the account, I found my contact number was incorrect. Providing my recovery email yielded different information. Gmail prompted me for an alternate email for contact, leaving me unable to prove ownership of my valuable email account containing years of synced data. I seek assistance in recovering my email.

Please avoid contacting the phone number linked to my account as it is currently inaccessible, as is my phone. You can reach me at my work number [redacted] between 8 AM to 4:30 PM central time. Upon my investigation, I discovered unknown IP addresses accessing my account and cloned apps, but my husband intervened before I could delve further.

I forgot my Gmail password and got locked out due to my disability causing memory loss. I found the password on my cell phone but don't know how to reset it using the phone. My husband, a disabled vet, is having surgery at Mayo Clinic, so we're at Hampton Inn North, Rochester, MN, using the hotel computer. We tried at Holiday Inn, but had issues using their computer for the reset code. My Dell laptop broke right after warranty expired, leaving me with only the hotel's computer to access emails. I'm a writer with a book in progress needing edits from my editor in Hong Kong. Not being able to contact her is jeopardizing my book's publishing. The email trouble is causing me financial losses. Please improve user support for those with disabilities like memory issues. My Gmail is [redacted] Help is urgently needed. Jan Gray.

My 87-year-old mother received an iPad last weekend, September 6, [redacted], to help her during the COVID crisis. Her grandson assisted in setting up the account. Unfortunately, she unintentionally responded to the "welcome emails" using her old laptop, causing her Gmail account to be locked. It seems she triggered a security alert by replying to Google emails. I've followed the steps to unlock her Gmail account, but there's been no resolution yet. She relies on Gmail for links to Zoom classes and keeping in touch with friends, so it's crucial to her. It's possible she caused a security alert by misunderstanding some emails. Her email is [redacted] It would mean a lot if her account could be unlocked promptly. If you need additional information, please let me know. My email is [redacted] Thank you, Steven Land

The new verification process is overly complicated and frustrating. Despite my efforts to disable it, the verification process remains active. I attempted to use my phone number instead, but it was not accepted in their system. Thank you for your assistance.

I recently contacted my investment advisor via email, which seems to have been intercepted. My advisor received a suspicious email asking to open a second bank account, using an email address similar to mine ([redacted]). Fortunately, my advisor called to confirm with me that it was not legitimate. What was concerning is that the scam email included my advisor's, his assistant's, and my wife's email addresses from my original email. I suspect this is a scam and request that [redacted] be locked. Any additional measures to prevent this type of scam would be highly appreciated. I prefer not to change my long-standing gmail account listed below. Thank you in advance.
