Not only is it better for the environment than common electricity production methods, but it is also beneficial for both consumers and producers. This is because solar power is significantly less expensive to produce than any other electricity production method. Although solar panels are expensive upfront, they require very little maintenance. Through solar energy, less energy is lost through transportation in which saves money for both consumers and producers. Solar power will also cut the amount of energy that is wasted through generation by between **-**%. This makes solar energy a low risk, high return business venture that could potentially be more profitable than regular energy generation.
