On March 3rd, my grandson, A.J., was brought home with injuries, and DFACS was supposed to assist with rent but never followed through. A lady named Kimberly Robinson was handling our case but no longer works there. Since then, I haven't received any help or communication from DFACS. I applied for benefits on March 25th for my grandson, who has special needs, but have yet to receive assistance. Kimberly promised to expedite the process and help with rent, but nothing has happened. We have a court hearing for eviction on Thursday at 9 a.m. in downtown Atlanta due to this situation. I only have Kimberly's number, and we are facing eviction because of the lack of support. Being on a fixed income makes this situation even more challenging as we need help with basic necessities for my grandson.

I recently renewed my EBT benefits in April, expecting to receive them on the 7th as usual. However, they haven't arrived. The website indicates my benefits are approved, but when I check the balance over the phone, it shows $0. I've attempted to contact my case worker multiple times with no response. I'm simply trying to understand the situation. You can contact me at [redacted] or [redacted] Thank you and have a blessed day.

My son is misbehaving at school and his afterschool program outside of school. He received counseling at school last year, but he managed to manipulate his way through it. Dealing with his disrespect is draining, and now my 8-year-old daughter is starting to mimic his behavior. I've sought help from the school and leasing office, but nothing seems effective. I have another child to care for who is on the right track. He's been behaving terribly, even hurting his sister over a misunderstanding. I am overwhelmed, feeling like I've tried everything and reaching my limit.

My daughter's mother relinquished custody of our child due to financial constraints. Concerned about my daughter's well-being after hearing she has been in precarious situations without proper care or shelter, I am eager to report these issues and ensure her safety. The mother's instability has led to her moving frequently and facing eviction, leaving my daughter without basic necessities. I took swift action and retrieved my daughter in Pennsylvania, bringing her to reside with me in Georgia. I seek guidance on how to proceed with reporting these concerns and safeguarding my daughter's welfare. Any advice and assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

My mother is currently dealing with stage 4 cancer and receiving chemotherapy. Unfortunately, she missed renewing her Medicaid due to being unwell, resulting in her case being closed. I completed the renewal forms online two weeks ago, but her account still displays as closed. I've been trying to reach the local offices via phone, but no one is answering, and the automated system keeps stating that the case is closed. This situation is critical as my mother's access to treatment is at stake.

Once again, I am facing challenges with my benefits in Georgia. Recently, my benefits were unexpectedly canceled due to unauthorized changes in my account information. This has caused me distress as I rely on these benefits, especially in my current situation where they are crucial. Despite my attempts to contact the local office for assistance, I have been unsuccessful in reaching a resolution. As a handicapped individual recovering from a lengthy hospital stay and surgery, I find it difficult to navigate the system, and my experiences with both the local and state offices have been disappointing. The toll-free number for assistance has also proved unhelpful, taking an extended period to connect with a representative. I have expressed my concerns through complaints but have yet to see any improvements in the situation.

I encountered a similar issue where my subscription was not renewed without any prior notification. I recently discovered this problem as I usually do not have internet access and struggle with navigating online platforms. After receiving assistance, I learned that my subscription was canceled. I have been recovering in the hospital for months after a major surgery and facing mobility challenges. Upon investigation, I found out that renewal notifications were sent to my late husband's email, a service I do not use due to the absence of internet at home. This is my first attempt at accessing information through this online gateway, and I faced issues with signing in since I was locked out previously. Thank you for your understanding.

Hello, my name is Lavonya L. I currently receive SNAP benefits in Jefferson County Region 7. My Client ID# is [redacted]28. Every six months, when I complete my renewals on the Georgia Gateway website, the office keeps telling me that the state of Georgia is backed up. My benefits are consistently late, even though I submit my renewals a month in advance to ensure timeliness. The caseworkers rarely return calls and are often unavailable for weeks at a time. It is unfair for me and others in this region to face these challenges. The caseworkers often give me a hard time about benefits and seem indifferent. Action should be taken to ensure caseworkers focus on assisting approved families. Despite my understanding of delays, the recurring issues need to be addressed for the benefit of both clients and workers. I am hopeful for a prompt resolution. Thank you.

My three-year-old child has been ill since March 1, [redacted], and we have been without insurance. Despite numerous attempts via phone, text, and email, I have been unable to reach DEFACS in Bibb County, Georgia. The assigned case worker is unreachable, so I even tried texting without success. Local office staff on Hemlock Street in Macon, GA, have not been responsive to my needs. I have all necessary documentation, including a confusing letter stating my daughter's continued eligibility. Urgent assistance is required due to her illness. Please contact me via text or email at [redacted]. My address is [redacted] Summit Avenue, Macon, GA [redacted]. I am the primary caregiver, and the child's name is Addison Rutledge, client ID [redacted]36. The case worker is Gwinett Westbrooks. Thank you for your prompt attention.

I recently completed my renewal process but encountered communication issues with my previous case worker, N. Massey, who claimed she did not receive my information. Despite reaching out multiple times via phone and leaving messages, I did not receive a response as her mailbox was consistently full. After speaking with a representative from DFCS who also stated they did not receive my documents, I submitted a new application online. Now with a new case worker, B. Rogers, I was scheduled for a telephone interview on 12/07/[redacted] at 9:30 am. Unfortunately, the call did not come, and I received notification that my case was denied for missing the interview, causing my benefit renewal to be closed. Despite my efforts to contact DFCS, I have not been successful in resolving this issue.

I need to report concerning a child's environment. The child has been using inappropriate language at school. Their mother drops them off smelling like marijuana. When approached about the child's education and well-being, the mother gets aggressive and defensive with the teachers who only want the best for the child. The child has exhibited inappropriate behavior by exposing themselves and using offensive language towards other students. Other students have also reported the use of abusive language by the child. The teachers are worried about the noticeable change in the child's behavior and want to ensure the child is safe and in a secure environment. We aim to inform the parent about the behavior and emphasize the importance of being a parent who is invested in their child's well-being.

I have a review deadline on October 31, [redacted], but my Gateway account access is broken, preventing me from renewing or reviewing online due to the non-functional links. Unfortunately, my case worker's name and phone number aren't provided on the notice. I urgently need assistance to obtain her contact details and her supervisor's information to fix my account access. I encountered issues with S. Elivine, whose name and phone number were on the mailed notices from 09/04/[redacted] and 09/15/[redacted]. When I reached out to her regarding the broken links, she mentioned that she is not my caseworker but had assisted on my case a year ago, causing confusion. Instead of providing my caseworker's name, she suggested either mailing a review form or calling [redacted] for a phone review. I still require the link to my account fixed promptly to unlock my $[redacted] payment via my Gateway account. Please assist me in resolving this matter swiftly. Thank you. Recap: - Review deadline: October 31, [redacted] - Gateway account access issue - Requested case worker and supervisor contact information - Need assistance in fixing account access for payment unlock - Dissatisfaction with previous assistance from S. There is a concerning situation unfolding in Portal, GA [redacted] involving a 13-year-old girl named Khristy Sheffield and her 17-year-old boyfriend, Gage Wynn. They have been causing disturbances in the neighborhood, being active at odd hours, and allegedly engaging in criminal activities like breaking into vehicles and buildings. The environment at their residence seems unsafe, with reports of drug abuse and theft, including Gage mistreating his grandmother for money, and Khristy's mom, Tonya Sheffield, being involved in illegal activities. It is worrying to see this situation escalate, and urgent action may be necessary.

I am Crystal Barfield. I am currently waiting for a call from the Department of Family and Children Services regarding my food stamp renewal. I renewed it shortly after the deadline due to personal circumstances, and I have been unable to reach anyone for almost two weeks. I have been consistently calling my caseworker and their supervisor to no avail. I have been trying to contact a human, not a voice automated system, to resolve this. If anyone has a direct number to reach a real person, please assist me.
