**********On July *, **** I visited Clay Cooley to refinance My GMC Silverado truck. I initially leased the vehicle from Auto Nation Galleria but they were no longer there. After much negotiating we agreed to finance the truck for ** months with GMC. I had told the finance salesmen that I was going to wait until the next day because I could get better financing with my Credit Union. He stated that he had been doing this for ** years and that their dealership always comes in below the credit union. He continued stating that I was not going to get a better rate. Since it was *:**pm and I was tired, I signed the contract and headed home which was ** minutes away.**When I got home I reviewed the contract and noticed that he had put ** months instead of the agreed ** months. I immediately notified the finance salesmen the next morning but the dealership never returned my call. I also attempted to call the finance manager but could never reach him so I left a text message with the car salesmen. Fortunately I had his number because my husband who was at home at the time had to text him my passport information since I had misplaced my license. The car salesmen responded to my text stating that the finance manager said that I had to come in to cancel the contract. ( I kept the text message in my phone ).**When my husband and I arrived at the car lot the next day we were told that the finance salesman was gone and the finance manager asked if he could help. He invited us in to his office and told us that he could not void the contract. He stated that I needed to go through with the finance and then refinance it through my Credit Union. I told him that I had spoken with GMC financial and they said all that was needed is for them to cancel and ask that it not be funded. The finance manager stated that they did not get funding from GMC but through Capital One. He said they would never get funding from GMC on a used truck. I informed him that I was given that information by his finance manager. My husband and I repeated that we wanted the contract voided. When he stated that he couldn’t void the contract, my husband became upset and then another sales gentlemen ( Jeff ) stepped in to say that he would take care of us. He said if Capital One Bank had not funded the contract that he would go ahead and void the contract.**He gave us his card with his number and stated that he would call us the next day. He did not call the next day so I called him the following day. He stated that he was busy and still needed to call Capital One to see if they got the Fed-Ex package sent by them. Since they were being unresponsive, I called Capital One who confirmed that everything is done electronically and not by Fed-Ex as they stated. I was told that Clay Cooley submitted it to them on ***** for funding. I asked them to mark the contract, “ Do Not Fund”. They stated that they would but that it wouldn’t stop them from sending it elsewhere.**On Friday, I received a call from Jeff at Cooley asking me to bring the Truck up there for an inspection. He said that I could finance with my credit Union but I would still need an inspection. He said, “ I know that you all have lost all trust in us.” I didn’t trust him at all and stated I would relay the message to my husband. Of course my husband and I knew it was another trick. He stated in order to get the registration that they had to inspect the truck. We never took our truck to be inspected by Clay Cooley. Later I also received a call from Chase Cooley asking me to bring the truck up there for inspection. I asked him if he got the financing straight. I was told by him that he didn’t call to discuss financing. **I never received a call back from Clay Cooley but opened a letter today to find out that they had financed it through Ally. I found that interesting since the Finance manager stated they would never finance a used vehicle through GMC.**There were multiple ways that this dealership did not demonstrate integrity***)*First the salesmen started my base finance price off of $**,*** when my pay off was only **,***. When I confronted him about it, he stated that since I didn’t pay taxes when I first leased the vehicle that I had to pay them now. Assessing what he said meant I would have to pay taxes for * years ago and again for the end of lease purchase. Later I reviewed my contract to find out that I paid taxes for the leased term.**)* We agreed to ** months and then he made the contract for ** months.***)*He told me the only way I could get the low rate of *.**% is through GMC because Capital one was at *.*% only to find out later that they requested Capital one to fund it. Then I was told by the finance manager later that they would never finance a used vehicle through GMC. In addition I was told that I had to buy the Warranty contract to get the *.**%. He said I could cancel it in ** Days and my finance rate would remain the same low rate.**)*He lied about sending a Fed-Ex package to Capital One***)*He lied about cancelling the contract as I have a text stating that he would cancel it if I came to the location.
