I recently discovered that many of your cereal boxes, including the gluten-free Honey Nut Cheerios, contain potassium phosphate, which is known to be antifreeze! I used to enjoy your Honey Nut Cheerios but had to stop due to this concerning ingredient. Please remove it from your products, especially since you have taken steps to make them gluten-free. It's disheartening to find a harmful substance in a product marketed as safe for consumption.

I am unable to locate Wheaties cereal in the supermarkets. When will you restock? I reside in Napa, California, and my family has a history with this cereal. My husband and I purchased four boxes to obtain your golf balls during a promotion. My brothers engage in a weekly golf game on Mondays, and we awarded the golf balls as a Grand Prize. Despite my 79-year-old brother winning, he shared his prize with our 75-year-old brother. We would have purchased four more boxes if it were possible to have a first and second winner each receiving a set of golf balls. Could you please inform me when you will have another similar promotion? Thank you.

Subject: Proposal to Serve as Food Advisor/Consultant Nutritionist Dear Mr. Ben Pearson, Managing Director of General Mills UK, I am reaching out to discuss the potential opportunity of joining as a Food Advisor/Consultant Nutritionist to elevate the global standing of your company. I would like to point out an error on the new Wheaties box featuring Russell Wilson. On the back, it lists one of his accomplishments as being the Rookie of the Year in [redacted]. However, I want to clarify that Russell Wilson was actually nominated for Rookie of the Year but did not win, as the award went to Robert Griffin III. As a dedicated fan of Russell Wilson and the Seahawks, I distinctly remember voting for him that year. I was disappointed when RG3 won despite not completing the whole season due to injury. It's crucial to correct this mistake, as it's akin to claiming Hillary Clinton won the presidential election in [redacted], which is inaccurate.

I recently bought a box of Golden Grahams after a long time. I noticed the labeling about Genetic Engineering and wanted more information on your website. However, when I clicked for details, it kept redirecting me to the first page. I am strongly against GMOs and wonder if your company is influenced by Monsanto. Many countries have banned GMOs for valid reasons. Should I be concerned about your stance on this issue and the impact on customer health? Please reconsider using GMOs for the well-being of your customers and follow the example of countries that have banned them. Thank you, S. Stevens

Dear General Mills, I recently discovered concerning levels of glyphosate residue in some of your oat products, as highlighted by a technical study regarding glyphosate by the WHO. This study indicated potential health risks for animals exposed to glyphosate at high levels, raising alarms for the potential impact on children who are more vulnerable to toxins due to their rapid growth and development. The recent coverage by CBS News has prompted me to reconsider purchasing GM oat products, which used to be a staple in my family's diet. As a consumer who has previously valued GM products due to being a Minnesota-based company, I am now compelled to seek out alternative oat products that are free from glyphosate residues. It is essential for companies like General Mills to proactively address such concerns to maintain consumer trust, especially with the upcoming shift in market preferences driven by the Millennial generation. I encourage General Mills to prioritize safety and transparency by exploring glyphosate-free grain sources for their products to retain the loyalty of both existing and potential customers. Wishing you the best in implementing the necessary changes to uphold the standards of safety and quality in your products. Sincerely, Nicolle B.

I recently bought a box of Hamburger Helper Stroganoff, and after dumping out the noodles, I found a burnt black macaroni-shaped noodle. Unfortunately, I had to discard the entire meal, as I had already mixed it with cooked hamburger. This led me to go back to the store after a 12-hour workday to purchase more ingredients. I have photos of the issue and my receipt. It was truly inconvenient, especially because I had promised my child their favorite meal. I hope to be compensated for this inconvenience. Some free Hamburger Helper, hamburger meat, and gas money would be appreciated to make up for the trouble your product caused. I am willing to share my experience on social media if necessary.

I recently bought a large bag of Reese’s Puffs from our local Walmart, something we've done before without issues. However, upon opening the bag and giving it to my family, including my 4-year-old, 6-year-old, and husband, they fell ill and found the taste off-putting, comparing it to a cleaning product. The bag itself had a strong detergent-like smell, and after trying a few pieces, I can confirm it tasted like cleaner. It's worrying to think they consumed something contaminated. I am frustrated and seeking reimbursement for this product. Please let me know the necessary details from the bag to ensure others are not affected. I'm willing to return the bag if needed. Thank you.

Why are all your Cheerios cereals Gluten Free now? I have been buying Multi Grain Cheerios for a long time. Now all I see is Gluten Free. I am happy for those with gluten sensitivity, but I am not. When I eat gluten free Cheerios, I have experienced issues. I am not sensitive to any flour, so I don't need to avoid it. Please bring back the regular cereal to the market alongside your gluten free options. Thank you, B. Browne from Lakewood Ranch, Florida.

I choose to no longer purchase any cereals due to the concerning presence of weed killer contamination. Moving forward, my stance is clear: I demand absolute zero tolerance for pesticides, antibiotics, or any chemicals in my food. I insist that all cereals sourced from factory farms must be removed from the market immediately and replaced entirely with organically grown, pesticide-free crops. If this essential change is not implemented, I encourage companies to cease operations and exit the industry. It is imperative for the message to be understood: we consumers are tired of the dishonest promotion of unsafe products by profit-driven corporations, lobbyists, and complicit government officials. The decision to boycott all cereals stands firm.

I recently contacted the company regarding the issue with Muddy Buddy bags being clumped together. After sending pictures, they mentioned issuing reimbursements for the two affected bags. This isn't the first time my family has experienced this issue with the product, and it's disappointing given the cost of $3.99 per bag. Unlike other Chex Mix varieties that have Buy One Get One Free promotions, Muddy Buddies seem excluded. It would be great if the company extended similar deals to loyal customers like us who purchase these products regularly. I anticipate receiving the promised coupons. It would be greatly appreciated if they could go a step further by sending a box of Peanut Butter and Chocolate Muddy Buddies to make up for the inconvenience. I hope the company values their customers and takes steps to address ongoing concerns. Thank you.

I'm a 56-year-old who has cherished LUCKY CHARMS cereal for decades. From the first bite, its taste became unforgettable and has been passed down through three generations in my family. However, I recently found a lack of marshmallows in my cereal, which was disappointing. I fondly remember their abundance in every box, and now they seem scarce. Just like the song goes, "Oh where, oh where have my MARSHMALLOWS GONE?" I am eager to have them back in the quantity they used to be, especially to share with my granddaughter who adores them. I am open to helping in any way possible to ensure the return of the delightful marshmallows. Please bring back the joy to my breakfast bowl. Sincerely, Anthony J. Romano

At 3 o'clock this morning, I was preparing to eat a bowl of Cheerios Oats and Cinnamon Crunch. I took a handful and started eating when I felt something strange in my throat. After coughing and getting it out, I realized it was a piece of either plastic or glue. Being someone with COPD and emphysema and reliant on oxygen, it caused a small cut in my gums, but thankfully I managed to remove it. I am unable to send a photo due to my flip phone but hope my children can assist. The barcode on the product is 16[redacted]2. I tried calling earlier but couldn't reach anyone. I just want to discuss this incident with someone, in case my mouth condition worsens, with no intention of legal action. I am disappointed as I adore this cereal and had recently purchased several boxes. I have more on order at Sam's Club. Please reach out to me via email. Thank you, Alfred Sorichillo.

I have been enjoying Wheaties for as long as they have been around. The last box I bought had Serena Williams on it, which I thought was a great choice. However, today when I went to Walmart to buy another box, I saw that LeBron James is the new spokesperson. I don't support him due to his views on the President, so I am disappointed in the company's decision. I am a patriot and do not want to support someone who goes against my values. I believe companies should stand by our President, and I will have to speak out about this. If Trump is re-elected, maybe I will reconsider buying Wheaties. It's a shame to see a company choose someone like LeBron James to represent them.

Dear General Mills, I want to express my gratitude for the tasty and affordable gluten-free cereals you consistently provide. My son, who is 28 years old and has had celiac disease since birth, loves cereal and enjoys it daily as a dessert after dinner. Your gluten-free options have significantly improved his quality of life and added flavor to his meals. I sincerely hope you continue producing these gluten-free cereals. Thank you so much. Best, Dana B.

Dear General Mills Service Center, My husband, Richard L. Butcher, and I lived in Chiang Mai, Thailand for the past four years. In February, I came to India to visit and got stuck here due to the travel restrictions, unable to return to Thailand. We spoke daily, but his health deteriorated in August. With the help of a friend who was our neighbor, I managed his affairs until he passed away on November 3rd. Dealing with paperwork and medical expenses has been overwhelming. I asked the State Department to send his Death Certificate to a friend in the US who handles our mail. Recently, she informed me that they have arrived. I'm attaching a digital copy along with the letter stating I am his beneficiary and should continue to receive his pension. Despite the legality of receiving the benefits, I was surprised to see deductions from our joint Wells Fargo account today. I kindly request that you return the deducted amount promptly. Remote management in these circumstances is challenging, and I appreciate your assistance. Sincerely, Clare L Butcher

I recently found a nail in one of my bags of Nature Valley Granola while having a snack at work. Thankfully, I wasn't hurt, but it raised some concerns about the product's quality control. I checked both bags and found no holes, indicating it wasn't tampered with. The nail was a finishing nail, and its presence in the granola was quite alarming. I am worried about the safety of others, especially children who might accidentally consume something similar. It could have been a manufacturing fluke, but I want to make sure there wasn't any construction happening at the plant that could explain how the nail ended up in the granola. I would appreciate it if the company could look into this incident and confirm that it was indeed an isolated case.
