I've had three GE Advantium [redacted] units over the past 20 years. The most recent one was purchased in [redacted]. After issues with the circuit board and other parts, replacements were supposed to arrive within a week, but I was told they won't be available until October 16 without charge. One customer service representative mentioned my claim might qualify for a new unit. Dealing with this inconvenience for three months without use is frustrating. I'd accept any color as long as I can get back in my kitchen. I'm perplexed as to why I haven't received any follow-up despite assurances. I won't buy another GE product until this is resolved. Please contact me at [redacted] or [redacted]. Not hearing back for months is unacceptable, and I believe I deserve an explanation and resolution. Thank you, Sonne P. at [redacted] Morris Drive, Cherry Hill, NJ, [redacted].

I requested assistance three months ago for my GE washing machine, which was only three months old and under warranty. Despite numerous calls, I received no help, and was informed that there was no service available in my area. After complaining to Lowe's, they replaced the washing machine. Now, the dryer, purchased at the same time, is making loud noises. I am unwilling to deal with this situation again and will consider legal action if I do not receive a response and a replacement for the dryer. I refuse to endure the frustrating process of reaching out to customer service and listening to repetitive recorded messages without any resolution. I am deeply dissatisfied with GE Appliances and will not purchase from them again.

I bought a refrigerator in March [redacted], and since August, the water dispenser has been making a grinding noise and leaking water onto my floor. Despite a technician coming out on September 10th and diagnosing the issue, the parts needed for the repair have been delayed without a set date for arrival. I have contacted GE multiple times, but the parts are still not in and they cannot provide a timeline. The delay is frustrating as the problem is worsening. I am considering requesting a replacement refrigerator if the repair continues to be delayed. It seems unreasonable for it to take two months to receive the necessary parts.

My spouse, a GE Retiree, was informed he qualifies for RRA and GEPAF through VIA Benefits. I recently contacted VIA and was informed he is only enrolled in GEPAF, not RRA. I have been advised to reach out to GE Human Resources regarding this matter. Here are his details: Retiree: Michael R. McGoff DOB: 4/22/[redacted] Last 4 of SSN: [redacted] Address: [redacted] Saddle Pointe Dr., Louisville, KY [redacted] He meets the criteria for both plans He began Medicare on 04/01/[redacted] with AARP Medicare Advantage Plan via United Health Care. Kindly investigate why he was not enrolled in RRA by GE and update me on the outcome. Thank you, Linda McGoff

I bought a GE stackable washer dryer combo in August. It’s similar to the model I've had for over a decade, but with some updates. During washing cycles, it makes a scraping sound when it starts up and stops intermittently. This sound is new and odd to me, and it seems to be a planned feature. I have recorded it and can share the audio if there's a way to attach a file.

About a year and a half ago, we bought the GE Basic LED 12-pack relying on a positive recommendation from a Lowe's employee. Unfortunately, we began experiencing issues about six months back. The lights in our kitchen started flickering and then completely went out. We even tried relocating one of the lights to rule out fixture problems, but the issue persisted. Now, lights in other areas like our closet are affected too. It seems to be isolated to the bulbs from that particular box.

I have encountered severe issues with GE Appliances customer service regarding a buyback refund for a broken fridge. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the situation, there has been a lack of follow-up and miscommunication, resulting in unnecessary expenses and inconvenience. Each interaction with the representatives like Deja has been unhelpful, leading to confusion and further delays. This ongoing problem has caused financial strain, as mentioned in my previous correspondences with Consumer Relations. The situation is becoming increasingly frustrating as the resolution is still pending, and I urgently require the refund and the removal of the faulty appliance. The lack of accountability and failure to address the issue promptly is unacceptable, especially after investing a substantial amount in GE products. I hope for an immediate and efficient resolution to this matter. Thank you, April G. Sent from my iPhone

I am seeking assistance with a consumer issue regarding my GE Dishwasher Model # GOT630PYM4FS, Serial # TR77243B. I bought this dishwasher in Nov [redacted] and had it installed in Feb [redacted] post my home renovation. Unfortunately, it has never functioned properly from the start, with wires appearing cut and tampered with. Despite a service technician's visit on Feb 3, [redacted], who ordered new parts and returned on April 7, [redacted] to fit them, the dishwasher still does not operate. I am reluctant to continue replacing parts on a brand-new faulty unit. In light of this frustrating situation, I am requesting a fully functional replacement as the current one has been unusable since installation 3 months ago. This experience has been disappointing, and I hope for a prompt resolution. Thank you.

I am seeking guidance on where to send a subpoena for information related to GE stock and Dividend Checks in an Estate. The stock originally belonged to Alice E. Hoffman, formerly known as Alice E. Jeffers. Some Dividend Checks were not cashed, and Wells Fargo served as the GE agent. The stock may have been transferred to Peter Hoffman in Greensboro, NC. I am interested in determining the initial number of shares Alice Hoffman owned at her death in [redacted], the status of dividend checks sent to Peter Hoffman, the amount and date of issue of each check. I appreciate any assistance in directing the subpoena appropriately.

Despite our initial excitement about purchasing the GE 30-inch electric cooktop (JP5030DJBB) with radiant power burners and digital touch controls, our enthusiasm quickly waned due to safety concerns. Unlike other cooktops we've used, this model's touch controls are oversensitive, turning burners off with the slightest pot movement. For example, placing a casserole dish nearby inadvertently shut off a burner mid-cooking. Conversely, a simple spill cleanup accidentally activated a burner due to the finicky controls. Although the "lock" safety feature helps prevent this, it also unexpectedly switches off burners when attempting to keep them on while preparing food. It seems there is a design flaw with this GE cooktop, leading to considerable dissatisfaction. We seek resolution from GE to address these issues promptly.

I bought a new GE Stove from Home Depot on December 28, [redacted], and it was delivered on January 9, [redacted]. However, the burners didn't seat properly upon installation. Initially, I was told it wasn't under warranty, but after discussing with the store manager, I was informed that it should be covered as it's a new model. Fast forward to four months later, the oven light went out. The repair company, which is quite far away, mentioned that the bulb isn't covered. Strangely, there's no mention of exclusions in the paperwork. I reside in Florida near "THE VILLAGES," a bustling senior community. Unless this matter is resolved, I am considering taking out an ad to caution new and current residents against buying GE products.

I have a washer model GFW550SSN0W that has a major flaw in its programming. During the cold wash cycle, the softener is dispensed in the initial wash cycle instead of during the rinse cycle where it should be dispensed. Despite multiple technician visits and replacing the logic board, water dispenser assembly, and product dispenser insert, the issue persists. It is critical that softener is only dispensed during the rinse cycle. I am looking to connect with someone knowledgeable about the software programming of the machine to resolve this issue promptly. The washer was installed on December 31, [redacted].

I placed an order for an appliance through Home Depot on December 24, [redacted], with an estimated delivery date of January 4, [redacted]. I was expecting a call the day before with delivery details but did not receive one. After contacting Home Depot, I was directed to GE for the delivery timeframe. Despite multiple attempts calling GE, being on hold for over 30 minutes each time, I couldn't get through to anyone. On the delivery date, January 4, [redacted], no one arrived or notified me of any changes. I've been trying to contact the given number to check if the delivery has been rescheduled, as I need to be home, but wait times exceed 45 minutes. I simply seek clarity on the delivery status to arrange my work schedule accordingly or a refund to explore other options.

I purchased a washer/dryer combo from American Freight in La Mesa, California. After owning it for 10 months, it broke down in early January. Despite multiple attempts to repair it, the parts have been ordered four times, but there have been continual issues and uncertainty about the availability of the necessary part. At this point, I feel that I deserve compensation for the challenges I have faced. All the appliances in my home are General Electric products, and I believe American Freight could have handled this situation better by providing a replacement machine and standing by their products. This experience has been a complete nightmare, and at almost 70 years old, I have never encountered such difficulties with an appliance. I have always been a fan of General Electric products, but I will be looking for another retailer for my future purchases.

I purchased a dishwasher in October [redacted] for our summer home in Lewiston, MI. The model number is ISPDT715SBNTS, and the serial number is TS[redacted]. When the dishwasher arrived, it was supposed to have a pocket handle but came with a bar handle instead. Due to the long wait, I accepted it, but now we can't open two drawers without lowering the dishwasher door. The dishwasher worked fine the first time but then stopped rinsing, drying, and draining on the second use. I paid over $[redacted].00 for only one wash. GE customer relations sent out a repairman on May 6, [redacted], who couldn't fix it after 2 hours. Another repair company sent by GE replaced the board, but it's still not working. I requested a new dishwasher, but it was declined. I need a dishwasher that works and hope that a more knowledgeable person can help resolve this issue promptly. Best, D.S. We bought a GE refrigerator in April, which arrived in May. The model number is GFE263YMTFFS and the serial number is FT322822. Recently, the refrigerator stopped working, and a repair person quickly diagnosed that the compressor needs replacement. Unfortunately, he didn't have a new compressor on hand, so we're waiting for it to be delivered around August 18th. The repair person won't be able to install the new compressor until at least August 24th. In the meantime, we've had to throw out a lot of food from the freezer and fridge, resulting in a significant financial loss. We've had to buy ice and use a cooler for our daily dairy needs. It's important for customers to feel confident that appliances won't break down within months, repairs will be prompt, and there could be some form of compensation for the inconvenience and food expenses.

I received my washer and dryer on Thursday, April 20th. I believed General Electric was a reliable company with quality production. However, on Thursday evening, I did a load of laundry, washing my comforter alone, and it came out of the washer with rust stains. As for the dryer, the door is crooked and there is a dent on the top. I paid over $[redacted] for these appliances to have ones that do not work well. I am not asking for repairs but for a replacement. I am afraid to use them as I fear staining my clothes. I will not stop contacting you until I am satisfied. I am even willing to take legal action to resolve this matter. Sincerely, Lise L. [redacted]

Good afternoon. I am in Venezuela and have been dealing with an issue for over 20 years since I purchased a General Electric refrigerator that came with a manufacturing defect. From the beginning, the fridge had a moisture leak that eventually caused rust on the doors, requiring repairs. The cooling system works, but the fridge constantly has this moisture issue. This has led to many expenses for repairs, and I have been disappointed with the supplier for not taking responsibility. It has been an emotional burden for me and my family, especially now with the current economic crisis that makes it difficult to afford a new fridge. I still recognize the quality of General Electric and would continue to choose them if I could.
