Recently, we purchased a GE stove (around $*,***) and used the over once before it stopped pre-heating to the desired temp. We are seriously disappointed in GE. A month ago, ** Sept - the tech could not find our home with his GPS (one day off work for me). The second appointment, he found the house only to tell us he needed to order the "motherboard" (second day off work for this issue). Today, he installed that, and found it was not the problem, so he ordered the front control panel (which will be another day off work for me). If that does not make the stove work, what are the options? We thought that by paying a little more for our stove that we would avoid problems one might associate with a "cheaper" brand*model, but as we've discovered, GE spares all expenses to make it as cheap as possible, no matter the model. If the next part does not fix our issue, I will be lodging another complaint and no doubt, I'll have to take to social media to share my experience.
