The issue in GetHuman-ericagod's own words
On Monday May *rd, **** my self had went to the Orangeville Best Buy location for a warranty claim on my I phone * plus. They had directed me and told me the steps that I had to follow to proceeded and stated I only would have to pay **% of the phone for them to ship it. I had then called for the claim and waited once I got ahold of and individual we went through the process to start the claim. She then had to transfer my call for some reason and I got put on hold. After I was on hold for about * minutes the phone had hung up. I called back again had to wait on hold then re start the claim process. Once we where finishing up the claim she told me my only options where A) pay ****$ they will ship the phone to me then I ship my old one back then once they receive the old phone they will refund me the money. And B) ship my phone out and be left without a phone for minimum ** days then they ship me one back. I am putting in this complaint because on a monthly basis I pay for geek squad to cover my phone so when an accident does happen they will replace it. I already pay monthly for insurance. it is ridiculous that you are asking your valuable customers that amount of money to replace there phone when they are already paying you!! And on top of the ***$ deductible. Costumers rely on you to cover are phone so we don’t lose money, not everyone has over ****$ To loan you. Some of your costumers work from their phone And need it and can not be with out one. How does your costumers know there phone won’t get lost when they ship it to you first? I am more up set that you have un trained staff that relay different information to me. I was told when I purchased the geek squad, repairs could happen in store, when I went to Discuss a warranty claim in the store I was told that I only had to put **% down for a deposit until they receive my old phone. When I called minutes later, I got neglected and hung up on and, the second time I’m then told a completely different number than what your employees said In store. I’m now frustrated with your poor costumer service and policy’s that you were unable to relay to your costumers at the time of purchase. I am now out of the money I pay monthly for the insurance with a broken phone because, I can not afford to be without my phone do to work purposes and I do not have over ****$ up front. I am very very disappointed in ALL your services that your company has shown me. I am hoping you are able to send me a new phone as i have been with geek squad for a whileI hope you will contact me to discuss this further.*Thanks,*Erica
