Username: Fuel_Angel Location: Keswick, Ontario, Canada Email: marny46[at]gmail[dot]com I urgently need a resolution to this issue. If this matter is not addressed promptly, I will escalate it to the media. It has been six months of being in the dark, and I am unsure of what I have done wrong. I am still unable to access the correct board; neither from my phone nor desktop computer. Although I am receiving my points, my prices in York Region, Ontario, are not visible to others except through news outlets. Your immediate attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.

After switching phones, I had to reinstall GasBuddy. When I tried to log in, it asked me to reset my password. However, after entering my email, it claimed it didn't recognize it. I then tried to create a new account, only to be told that my email was already in use. This conflicting information is confusing. I prefer not to change my email, which is [redacted] If someone could assist me with this, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Kathy Waples.

I am having trouble finding the option to report a lost or damaged card on the GasBuddy app. I followed the instructions provided, but I could not locate the setting to request a new card. Can you please send me the correct instructions to receive a replacement card? My screen name on GasBuddy is Handyman43. Thank you. - Don Williams

On November 19, I updated my bank account details associated with my card. Despite following all the required procedures to link the new account and reaching out via multiple emails, my card remains inactive. I am quite disappointed by the inadequate customer service, as my primary concern is to have my card reactivated. Although I received an email a few weeks ago confirming the successful account linkage, I am still unable to use my card as intended.

I wanted to share an update on Taylor's BP at [redacted] Six Forks Rd near Sturbridge Rd. The station recently completed renovations and reopened about three weeks ago. Despite several attempts by me and others to update its status on the GasBuddy app from "Closed Temporarily" to "Open," the change hasn't been reflected. We have submitted edits through the app's "Suggest a Station Edit" feature, and each time we receive a confirmation that the suggestions will be reviewed, but no changes have been made in 3-4 weeks.

I have tried to reach you multiple times, but it seems that your customer service lines are too busy to answer my call. You debited $25 from my bank account as a fee, yet you were unable to withdraw $15. This discrepancy is confusing to me. I expect a refund of $15 because the funds were available when I used the gas card. I do not understand why the money was not debited promptly as usual. If there is still a balance of $15 due, kindly deduct it from the $25 fee you charged me and return the remaining $9. Furthermore, please close my account. I take my finances seriously, and this situation has eroded my trust in your company. I will close my account once I receive the refund. I am extremely disappointed with this situation.

I'm having trouble accessing my account #[redacted][redacted]36, which is connected to my bank account. I used it in the past but couldn't access it yesterday. The account is under Shalimar Amtower, with the password Mark. When I try to activate a GasBuddy deal, it leads me to an unpaid account for Arabella with the name Mark. Attempting to change it only altered the email. How can I retrieve my paid account quickly? I need this issue fixed as soon as possible. Thank you, Shalimar Amtower.

I have been using Gas Buddy for over 5 years. I report gas prices daily, sometimes even twice a day as I travel. Over the last 6 months, I have noticed that my total report numbers keep dropping even though I am reporting the same amount, if not more, daily. It seems like they are being given to others. Can someone explain why this is happening? If this trend continues, I really question the point of doing it. My Gas Buddy handle is C107. Thank you.

To maximize Gas Buddy discounts, it's essential to obtain their free card for gas purchases instead of using your debit card directly. However, an issue arises when verifying banking information for the card due to multiple small deposits needing verification first. Planning a trip on the 17th is causing concern as without online banking access or bank statements until January, verifying the deposits becomes challenging. Attempting to resolve this with Gas Buddy for months has been fruitless as they're unreachable and unresponsive to emails. Yet, there must be a more efficient way, possibly involving direct communication between Gas Buddy and the bank to verify the legitimacy of the account/debit card. The desire to join the program is strong, but the current verification process proves to be a significant obstacle. Assistance in resolving this matter promptly would be greatly appreciated.

I recently received an email on December 15 regarding a transaction that could not be processed by FREEDOM FIRST FEDERAL CREDIT UNION. The email instructed me to update my banking information through the Savings section of the GasBuddy app or pay with a credit card. Considering my recent scam experience with someone posing as Amazon, I am wary of this email's authenticity. I have not accessed my account and will refrain from updating any banking details or making payments with my credit card. The email came from <[redacted]>.

I didn't have enough funds in my account when the initial $19.80 transaction was processed. Subsequently, a $5.00 fee was added, making my total bill $24.80. I made sure to have this amount available for the next payment as indicated by my account balance. However, there was no indication of an additional fee after that. Unexpectedly, another attempt was made to withdraw $29.00, resulting in a declined transaction due to insufficient funds. Now, I find myself being sent to collections without any prior notice or clarification.

I believe this issue started with a recent update, as now whenever I am trying to use the map to locate a gas station, the app continuously kicks me out to notify me about the lack of location access. I am using Android 10 and have set the permission for apps to access my location only when in use. Despite this, the app persistently kicks me out, making it impossible to search for a gas station without interruptions. The app does not require constant location access for this function, leading to frustration. This recurring problem is new and irritating, prompting me to contemplate uninstalling the app that I have relied on for over a year. This issue needs prompt resolution.

I am questioning why my private banking information is required. Shouldn't my driver's license number be sufficient? If I'm truly receiving a discount, why can't I receive it on a debit card or Visa gift card instead? If the minimum guaranteed amount I receive is 2 cents and the maximum is 25 cents, it doesn't seem worth it to provide valuable information. It appears somewhat suspicious to me. I don't even disclose this type of information to my immediate family, so why should I provide it to you? Merely for a hacker to breach your database and potentially steal my identity. I believe requesting my driver's license and date of birth is excessive. I've participated in other reward programs that only required my mailing address, email, and some date of birth, never my driver's license or bank details. If obtaining a discount involves allowing telemarketers to bother me incessantly, I say a firm no. After paying good money for my landline for 10 years, I can't afford to lose it on a fixed income just to be harassed by telemarketers. Kindly delete all my personal information, including my driver's license, if that's what it takes to receive a discount. Allowing scammers to target me through telemarketers is the last thing I need, especially since I'm already dealing with an individual stalking me that the police are unable to assist with.

I am located in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, and I regularly report gas prices at the Shell station on Tecumseh Rd E and Central. On May 26, the pumps were fenced off for an upgrade but the store was open. On that day, I was the Top Spotter with 30 reports, and bcmac53 was in 2nd place also with 30 reports. The next day, May 27, I reported that the pumps were closed. Since then, there have been discrepancies in the reports from other members, including vigo355 with the most errors. Other members such as joerock812, dmorneau3, paneinthegas, bearsded, buddy_mcjbka3, and georgiegirl0323 have also reported incorrect prices multiple times. I believe those with several years of membership like vigo355, joerock812, and dmorneau3 should know better and may need to be suspended for 15-30 days. Thank you. - 68coronet, Windsor, Ontario, Canada

I set up a deal alert for the Shell Gas station today, July 21, [redacted]. I have a Jewel Loyalty card with Alt ID [redacted]. The deal for Jewel Loyalty cardholders was supposed to be for $.20 off per gallon. However, when I tried to use my card at the pump, it said the number was not active or valid. I used the card earlier at Jewel and it was working fine. This isn't the first time this station hasn't recognized my Loyalty Card. Gas Buddy said to upload a receipt for assistance, but I couldn't find a link to do so. The Shell Station is located at [redacted] Dundee Ave., Elgin, IL [redacted]. My total purchase was $45.75 for 13.[redacted] gallons of regular fuel at pump 3, paid using Gas Buddy Card number [redacted], at 4:18:18 pm on July 21, [redacted]. I should receive a credit of 2.[redacted]. I would like to report this station for falsely claiming to accept Jewel Cards. Thank you, Audrey B.

I'm waiting for my card to be sent. I was unaware that there was more I needed to do after the bank approved the deposit. I thought it was automatic and expected to receive my card within five days. Can you please confirm if the card is on the way? I really need it urgently. If possible, please contact me at [redacted] during your business hours tomorrow. Thank you.

GasBuddy has been mixing up two gas stations located across the street from each other in McCalla, AL. The Texaco station at [redacted] Eastern Valley Rd and the new Valero station at [redacted] Eastern Valley Rd. Despite choosing a Discount Deal for the Valero station and using it, GasBuddy is mistakenly applying a partial discount for the Texaco station where the customer did not go. The customer has sent receipts to GasBuddy to correct the error but only received generic responses asking to respond if they are still facing issues. There has been no meaningful conversation or resolution from GasBuddy, leaving the customer frustrated. The customer is requesting a phone call from a human representative to ensure the correct station is recorded for future transactions at the Valero station.
