I bought three pairs of identical blue jeans a few years ago. They have some spandex in them. One pair is perfect, another has a ripple, and the third has a very raised and noticeable ripple that make the jeans unwearable despite them being in great shape in every other way. I brought these jeans to the GAP store at **th and Third Ave.The manager acknowledged that the pants were defective but said that it was too long since I had purchased them. When I asked him what the cutoff time was he was unclear. *I realized I should have returned them earlier but i had two other pairs and i just didn't. My question(s), how long after a purchase does the GAP accept back defective clothing and, is there anything the GAP can do to solve my problem.
