On September 9th, my vehicle was towed to Geico's claim center for power steering repairs after hitting a pothole. Initially, only the rack and pinion needed reattaching. However, upon inspection on September 11th, Geico decided to total the vehicle, claiming the front axle was pulled out of the transmission and the rear axle was bent. They sent a settlement check for $1,[redacted], below the replacement cost. California vehicles found ranged from $2,[redacted] to $2,[redacted]. I presented these findings to Geico, but they insist on the $1,[redacted] payment. They also sent my van to an auto auction without my consent, causing additional issues. Geico has not covered rental expenses or offered compensation. I seek the $2,[redacted] replacement cost and better communication from Geico, who also continues to bill me for premiums.

While riding my bike last night, I was involved in an accident with a car insured by GEICO with policy number [redacted]. The Bend, Oregon police report number is 2[redacted]9. The incident occurred around 7:40 pm on Bond St. The driver, who had a stop sign, made a right turn and hit me. My bicycle sustained damage, and I have injuries to my wrist and leg. I plan to have my wrist examined, but I am concerned about coverage since I do not have personal insurance. The extent of the damage to my bicycle is not yet known as I had to lock it up due to chain issues. Despite the driver alleging my lights were not on, I always use them at night. Two library security guards can attest that both my front and back lights were operational. Additionally, my handheld light's lens shattered, and my backpack got torn during the accident.

I have been a loyal customer of Geico for over 25 years, having both renters and car insurance with them. Recently, I noticed my car insurance premium had increased, prompting me to inquire about it. To my surprise, I discovered that my renters insurance, which was bundled with Travelers Insurance through Geico, had been cancelled due to alleged non-payment. I was never notified of this cancellation and had not cancelled it myself. Despite requesting for reinstatement, I was informed that due to the lapse being over 60 days, the premium was now significantly higher. This experience has left me feeling disappointed with Geico, especially considering my long-standing history with them and my track record of timely payments and responsible behavior. The lack of communication and the sudden increase in premiums without valid reasons has been frustrating.

In November [redacted], I sent a check that was stopped due to a change of address from Alpharetta to NJ. My bank account is now sorted, and I'd like to send a replacement check. Please provide me with the recipient's name and address for the new check. Could you also review my financial records and advise if any updates are needed? Thank you. - B. Miller

A woman backed her car into mine while parked. She provided her insurance information, which is your company. I had just picked up my car from the shop that day, and as I parked and let my niece out, I was outside the car getting her bag when the other driver started backing up. We yelled to get her attention, but she continued backing up. She refused to involve the police, so we exchanged numbers and information. Now, I am reaching out to you regarding the incident.

I apologize in advance for the inconvenience caused by an unresolved claim dispute that has disrupted my peace of mind. Unfortunately, the current department seems unable to understand or resolve my conflict, which is unsettling! It should be a top priority for Geico Headquarters to address policyholder concerns promptly. I have various options available to escalate my issue. I could raise my concern with the Board of Directors and Executives at Berkshire Hathaway or contact other affiliated companies operating under the GEICO trademark. Exploring avenues within the diversified holding company or its subsidiary affiliates can offer indirect alternatives. After studying the annual reports from [redacted] to [redacted] and examining the financial statements under Berkshire Hathaway INC, such as the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow, I have found valuable insights that align with my own data analysis. As I educate myself on Federal Security Laws, Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Regulatory Framework, and State Insurance Laws, I realize the importance of understanding the company's obligations. Following a rear-end collision that totaled my vehicle, the options presented by Geico's adjuster put me in a disadvantageous position: either accepting a payout below market value or keeping the vehicle at a reduced value. As I engage in various public platforms, my vehicle is crucial for my daily activities, making it essential to address this policyholder issue proactively. I kindly request a resolution to this matter, as proactive steps are crucial. I am grateful for your attention and assistance in advance.

I need a refund for a locksmith payment. When I called, I was informed the system was updating and couldn't send help as I locked my key in the car. I paid as instructed, and was assured a refund. However, I'm unsure where to send the receipt. I wasn't given an email address for submission. Should I visit the office to resolve this? Please advise. Thank you.

I recently purchased a brand new car three days ago and noticed signs of rats inside. I'm concerned about the safety of myself and my child as well as potential damage to the wiring and other parts. One of the rats is in the steering column and behind the dashboard lights, with the steering wheel cover appearing to be at risk near the airbag.

Hello, I have an account with your company. I agreed to have payments come out on the 18th of each month, but today, the 17th, you debited my account instead. This caused me to have an overdraft of $20. I am requesting a refund for this charge and would like to ensure that future payments are taken on the scheduled day. Overall, I have been satisfied with your service, but this issue needs to be addressed promptly before considering switching to another provider. Thank you.

On December 14th, one of your customers hit my car, and he contacted his insurance company, Geico. You allowed me to rent a car until mine is fixed. Today, when I went to the rental place, I discovered that you only provide $32 per day, which limits me to renting the cheapest car. The issue is that the vehicle I can afford is too small for my needs. Is there a way for me to change it to a different car?

Last night while driving, I suspect my vehicle was tampered with or hit an object on the road. The impact caused me to hit my head on the steering wheel, resulting in a bleeding nose. Despite this, I managed to drive home. Along the way, a loud noise indicated my tire had burst, so I need to replace it with the spare. I am concerned about other potential damages. Today, I am suffering from a severe headache affecting my vision.

Regarding my claim for my [redacted] Mercedes, the car is currently in the shop for repairs. I am facing two issues that require your assistance. Firstly, somewhere between picking up the car from the accident site and taking it to the repair shop, the key got lost. The cost to replace this key is around $[redacted]. Secondly, it appears that one of the towing companies designated in this process caused significant damage to the bumper, which now needs to be replaced. I have photos from the accident scene that show the bumper was not damaged prior. I am simply asking what Geico plans to do to address these problems that arose after the car left the accident scene. I have been attempting to reach out to adjusters and claim representatives without success, as nobody has returned my calls. Please respond promptly.

Dear Customer Service, I am writing to express my concern regarding the delay in handling my claim after my vehicle was totaled. Despite having full comprehensive insurance with collision and rental car coverage, it has been three weeks since my claim was filed, and I have yet to hear from an adjuster or receive a rental car as promised in my policy. I find this level of negligence unacceptable. As a result, I am now incurring extra expenses while stuck in the desert. I hold Geico responsible and will seek reimbursement for all additional costs and any liability issues that may arise during this time. I have not had any communication with my assigned adjuster, Brianna, since the claim was initiated. I expect her to fulfill her duties promptly and provide me with updates via email or phone as necessary. Given the circumstances, I am prepared to involve my attorney to address this matter if it is not resolved by January 2, [redacted]. I have documented all correspondence for legal purposes, including potential legal action for bad faith practices. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Best regards, Paul G.

While I was driving on [redacted] south from Somerset NJ to Old Bridge NJ, a white Toyota Rav 4 rear-ended my vehicle as I was slowing down for traffic ahead. I maintained a safe distance and did not hit the car in front of me. I promptly had a police officer come to the scene and document the incident. Thankfully, I was not found at fault and did not receive any citations. However, there is noticeable damage to the back bumper and left tail light of my car. I am eager to proceed with having my vehicle repaired through my insurance provider at the earliest convenience.

I need to report a claim. Yesterday morning at 9:5AM, on 12/27/[redacted], my car was hit in the parking lot. The other driver reversed into me, resulting in damage to my driver's side fender and door. The other driver admitted fault and mentioned that she will contact her insurance company. I will arrange to have the damages assessed next week. The car is still drivable. My main worry is that my car, a [redacted] Buick Lacrosse with only 66,[redacted] miles, might have paint matching issues.

Upon leaving my friend's house and returning to my car parked across the street, a frightening ordeal unfolded. I was attacked by two men in a brown minivan who pulled up next to me. They forcefully entered my vehicle, assaulting me and causing the car to collide with a parked truck. After the collision, I managed to exit the car despite sustaining injuries. As I awaited medical assistance, the perpetrators continued their assault, leaving me with a broken ankle. Following treatment at the hospital, I find myself in need of guidance on how to proceed with a claim and legal matters. Adapting to my current situation away from home in California, I am left grappling with the aftermath of the incident and seeking support with the recovery process, all while grappling with the practical challenges of daily essentials like retrieving belongings from my towed car.

I recently received a cancellation notice set for 1/31/20, even though I have automatic payments in place. An agent helped me set them up, so it's confusing why this happened. I made a payment on 1/19/20 after seeing the notice, but it was denied by my bank for an unknown reason. I want to ensure I don't pay twice in a month, as another autopayment is scheduled for 1/25/20. I've attempted to call customer service multiple times, but my phone carrier AT&T is indicating that the number is blocked. This is the first time I've experienced this issue with an [redacted] number. I'm feeling very frustrated as I'm unable to reach a human to resolve this matter.

I received a second email reminding me to renew my auto insurance with Geico on January 9th, and I got another email yesterday stating that my policy was canceled on January 25th. Today, when I called to pay, I was informed that the rate had increased by $49. I went ahead and paid the increase, but I am frustrated by Geico raising rates for a long-time customer like me who has been with them for over fourteen years. I would like to request a refund of that extra money. I also need to express my dissatisfaction with an agent named Shirley whom I spoke with today. She came across as bossy and arrogant, making me feel inferior. She is not a good representation of Geico's customer service.

Hello, I relocated to the US last November and I am still awaiting my SSN and driver's license under the reciprocity agreement between France and Texas. My wife, who is a US citizen, and I recently purchased a car for me. Due to not having my US driver's license yet (but possessing an international driver's license), I am unable to get an online insurance quote. I expect to receive my US driver's license in a few weeks. Is it possible for you to generate an insurance quote using my international driver's license for now? We can update the information once I obtain my US driver's license. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

On January 13, [redacted], I purchased homeowners insurance for a property in Arizona under my and my wife's names. The policy's effective date was January 31, [redacted]. However, the lender did not accept it because my son was listed as a co-applicant for the house. I contacted Geico to add my son's name to the policy and remove my wife. The agent informed me that they would need to cancel the existing policy and start a new one. The initial down payment of $[redacted].13 was debited from my bank account on January 13, [redacted]. The down payment for the new policy was $[redacted].69 and was charged on January 31, [redacted]. I was assured a refund of $[redacted].13, but I have not seen it credited to my account yet. When can I expect to receive this refund?
