I had a GE service technician, with confirmation number [redacted]48, visit today to check on a control issue with my GE JES2251 microwave. The power was cutting off when using the time controls. The technician identified a faulty relay in the control panel. Since the microwave is under warranty from a purchase made on 11-21-[redacted], he investigated the availability of a new relay. Unfortunately, it was no longer in stock, and GE recommended returning the microwave to Lowe's for a full replacement, which is the standard procedure. Upon contacting Lowe's, I was informed that I would need a Return Authorization number (RA) from GE for the replacement process. I followed up with GE Corp., where a representative named Mike verified this requirement and transferred me to Consumer Relations for the RA form which I was unable to obtain as no representative answered. Can someone assist me in obtaining this form?

My washing machine, only a little over 2 years old, has completely stopped working. I initially scheduled a service appointment for May 21st, but it got rescheduled last minute to July 16th. The technician who came out replaced the transmission, but shortly after he left, the washer still had issues with lights not syncing with the cycle. I had to manually finish the laundry and take it to a laundromat. Subsequent visits from the technician identified problems with the UI, control board, and mode shifter, but after each repair attempt, the washer stopped working again and I had to continue going to the laundromat. Despite paying $[redacted].92 for unsuccessful repairs and around $[redacted] in laundromat expenses since May, my washer remains broken. I am seeking advice on how to recover the total of $[redacted].92 spent on trying to fix a machine that's only a few years old. Madona D. [redacted]

My washer, just a little over 2 years old, has completely stopped working. I initially scheduled a service appointment for May 21st, confirming it with #[redacted]38, but it got moved to July 16th. The technician fixed it by replacing the transmission, but the problem persisted. After a subsequent diagnostic, the UI, control board, and mode shifter were identified as faulty. Even after the technician's attempts, the washer continues to malfunction, leaving me with a total repair cost of $[redacted].92. Additionally, I spent around $[redacted] on laundromat expenses since May due to the washer's unreliability. I am now advised to contact customer relations to resolve the ongoing issue.

I recently encountered a frustrating situation with my new dishwasher, which is still under warranty. The appliance has been leaking for the second time. Despite receiving service from GE on June 23, they now claim they no longer service my area. In addition, the local authorized repair companies they recommended are refusing to assist me because I did not purchase the appliance from them. I am disappointed with GE's lack of responsiveness in addressing the defective equipment. Best, A.G. [redacted] 10 Congress Street #[redacted] Cape May, NJ [redacted]

Back in April, I placed an order for a fan oven part, but I have yet to receive it or get credit for the paid item. Instead, I got wall ovens that were too small for my wall, and a cooktop that didn't fit either. Recently, they sent me the correct ovens but still no cooktop. I received an email today mentioning they were closing my case, but after contacting customer relations, they assured me they would keep my file open until I receive the cooktop. They promised someone would contact me weekly via email or phone. I'm frustrated with the repeated phone calls and hold times talking to a case manager. My name is Francesco Mallamace, and my case number is [redacted]4.

I have a current case number, [redacted]0, regarding a refrigerator issue. It cannot be repaired due to a leak, and the only option is to replace it. The original product is discontinued, but a GE representative and I identified a suitable replacement. GE offered a credit for the new appliance, which was on backorder since February 24, [redacted]. However, the product is now available at various retailers. I am requesting GE to provide a credit or coupon for the same amount towards the purchase of the replacement appliance at any preferred retail outlet like Home Depot, Lowes, or Best Buy. The wait for the product has been too long considering it is readily available in the market. Thank you - Chris S.

Our account number is [redacted]. We had a technician come to fix our washer, but after replacing the drain pump, the issue persisted. The technician suggested another part needed replacement and advised considering a new appliance. We were told we could request a refund for the unnecessary repair through consumer relations. After spending over two hours on hold without success, the call was disconnected. We are frustrated with the time off work, expenses, and the washer still not working. We are seeking reimbursement for the part that was not required.

On February 10, [redacted], I bought 4 GE appliances from Home Depot in Virginia Beach, VA. One of them is a refrigerator with Model GZS22IYNBHFS and SERIAL NO. DR409653. I also purchased a 5-year protection plan from Asurion. The fridge was delivered on March 9, [redacted], but the icemaker has continuously malfunctioned, even after multiple repair attempts by GE technicians. I got an extended warranty from Assurant on February 9, [redacted], and have had 5 different technicians inspect it since the GE warranty expired. Despite replacing the isolation valve and 4 different icemakers, the issue persists. Water doesn't reach the icemaker tray. I've been without ice for 5 months, including a recent 2-month and 7-day stretch. I'm requesting GE to remove the refrigerator, credit me for the defective appliance, and I plan to buy a newer model with an integrated icemaker. - William K. I had a service visit on 8/26, [redacted] by A&E Factory Service (GE Service Contractor) with GE specialist Chuck for problem evaluation. Case# [redacted]7 was assigned and advised to contact Consumer Relations at 1-[redacted]. After discussing with Case Manager, Kristen assured me that GE warranty would cover additional parts, labor, and repair costs. She mentioned ordering UI Board, part WB27X32921, and promised to call on 8/27, which didn't happen. Received a call on 8/27, from John at Midwest Appliance, Nowata, OK ([redacted]), scheduling a service appointment for 9/13. During confirmation today, John suggested the previous repair personnel for the job as he isn't familiar with MODEL PTS7000SNSS. If you agree that using the previous repair person would be efficient, please reassign the case and inform me of the decision. Thank you, Mrs. Jerry (Lola) Cain

Hello, I recently purchased a stackable GE electric dryer from Home Depot online. I placed the order on Feb 4, [redacted], and received it on Feb 25. I bought it for a friend, but unfortunately, the new dryer had a hole where the heating component could escape. I contacted GE appliance service on Mar 10, [redacted], for a replacement. Soon after, the dryer drum started making noise and wasn't producing heat. I had the technicians come out, and they indicated the need to replace both the heating component and the dryer drum. It's concerning that a brand new dryer required replacement parts so soon after purchase. Could you please assist me with this issue? Thank you.

Dear Sir/Madam, I experienced issues with my dishwasher which was repaired by a GE representative a month ago. After less than 30 days, the dishwasher malfunctioned again. Although GE initially stated the repair would be free due to the issue occurring within 30 days, the representative who came to inspect the dishwasher today insisted on payment. I communicated my disagreement as the part failed within the stated timeframe. Upon contacting GE customer service, they attempted to resolve the situation with the service representative; however, they declined to take the call. I am now advised to contact customer relations for further assistance. The assigned confirmation number for the GE representative visit is [redacted]15. For any additional assistance, I can be reached at [redacted]. Thank you for your support. Regards, Kiran Ramachandra

My washer, only a little over 2 years old, has completely stopped working. On May 18th, I set up an appointment for May 21st (confirmation #[redacted]38), but it was rescheduled abruptly for July 16th. After repair, the washer still malfunctioned. The lights did not sync with the cycle, and soon after, it stopped working entirely. The technician returned, replaced more parts, and assured me it was fixed, but the issue persisted. Subsequent attempts to repair have failed, causing me to pay $[redacted].92 out of pocket and spend around $[redacted] on laundromat trips since May. This totals approximately $[redacted].92, now closer to $[redacted]. After numerous unmet promises and ineffective repairs, I am left with a non-functional washing machine and a lot of inconvenience. I urgently need this situation resolved.

My washing machine, which is a little over two years old, has completely stopped working. It started with a repair scheduled for May 21st (confirmation #[redacted]38), but was rescheduled to July 16th last minute. After the technician replaced the transmission, the washer still malfunctioned, with lights not syncing with the cycle and ultimately stopped working altogether. Despite multiple attempts at repair and part replacements, including the UI control board and mode shifter, the issue persists. I am now out of pocket $[redacted].92 for the unsuccessful repair and an additional $[redacted] for laundromat costs since May. Despite promises of communication by 9/2/21, I have not received any updates. I am requesting a credit of $[redacted] for a new washer, but would settle for a $[redacted].92 credit. Thank you. - Madona D.

My washing machine is a little over 2 years old and has stopped working completely. I initially scheduled a repair appointment for May 21st, but it was rescheduled to July 16th. After they fixed it, the lights did not work properly, and the washer stopped functioning. Despite multiple attempts to repair it, the issue persists. I am disappointed with the service as I had to manually wash my clothes and go to the laundromat several times, incurring additional costs. I would like to request a credit of $[redacted].92 for the failed repair, a 20% discount on a new washer, and compensation for the inconvenience of not having a working machine for 3 months. Thank you. - Madona D.

I purchased a GE washer in January [redacted], and I am disappointed that it has stopped spinning already. A technician visited today and found several error codes. Parts have been ordered to replace the control panels, with a follow-up scheduled for September 30th. I contacted the GE Repair Service Department to express my concerns about a new unit needing such extensive repairs. I was transferred to GE Customer Relations where I waited on hold for over 45 minutes. After being redirected back to the Repair Service Department, I tried to speak to a Manager but was informed that Customer Relations is the management. I am now over 42 minutes into another hold period. The customer support system seems like a black hole, and I hope to resolve this issue soon.

I had an appointment for the repair of my front-load washer Ultra Fresh scheduled for 5/13/21 from 1-5 pm with confirmation number #[redacted]97. Unfortunately, during a phone call I received, there was no response on the other end, possibly due to poor reception in mountainous areas. I bought the washer on 8/25/20 and reached out on 9/8/21 to address the issue. The representative mentioned the warranty had expired and directed me to service relations, who were closed at that time. I called the next day and spoke to Rick from support, who arranged a repair for 9/14/21 from 1-4 pm but didn't provide a confirmation number. After being transferred to service relations to discuss warranty coverage, I waited on hold for about 30 minutes. Despite the challenges, I hope GE can improve its service and stand by its products completely. I seek a resolution at no additional cost. - Don.

I purchased a GE 10,[redacted] BTU AC unit in July [redacted], which stopped working in July [redacted]. I contacted GE for warranty support, and they required a picture of the unit's sticker. The sticker was inaccessible as it was hidden in the wall, so I had to have a handyman remove it. After a week, I obtained the picture. The handyman discovered a faulty control board, which he bypassed to make the unit operational, albeit with no speed or temperature control. According to Lowes, GE no longer sells this model due to numerous complaints. I am requesting a refund of the $[redacted] purchase price or a replacement control board as I have already incurred $[redacted] for installation and removal to take the sticker picture. The additional cost for board installation and unit reinstallation will be substantial. I have spent over $[redacted] for an ineffective unit, and I hope that GE addresses these issues promptly to make my investment worthwhile. I am dissatisfied with this GE AC unit experience and will not choose their products again.

I purchased a GE Cafe French door smart oven 2 years ago. I faced issues connecting it to WiFi initially but put it on hold due to moving into a new house. The newer models have an air fry option that led me to research online how to use it, realizing it's like a convection appliance. Despite numerous attempts, I couldn't connect the oven to WiFi. After contacting smart appliance support and trying everything again with a representative, I was told they would escalate to the engineers. The email response I received was unhelpful and asked me to perform tasks I found challenging. The follow-up email seemed condescending. I provided the requested router distance information but haven't heard back since. The support suggested troubleshooting steps that felt beyond average abilities. I expressed my frustration and requested a call back, but the replies were unsatisfactory. I feel like the emails may have come from another country, which is frustrating. I'm open to solutions but may consider returning the oven.

My spouse has been in touch with a woman named Cindy about our GE stove, concerning case #[redacted]6. We closed on our new residence in February of this year. Unfortunately, the glass cooktop broke before we had been in the house for even 7 months. Despite being under warranty, the stove is not functional due to a substantial crack and hole on the front left burner, extending to the back. This damage occurred without any fault of ours. We require a repair promptly as per the warranty. Kindly reach out to schedule a technician visit to replace the cooktop. It is unacceptable that the repair is being delayed or denied for a product we have only used for 6 months. Please contact me at [redacted] to coordinate the repair.

I purchased a GE washer last March, and it has had multiple issues. Despite being told my warranty was extended by 6 months, when I called before it ended due to the washer completely stopping, they refused to replace it. The technician sent was disrespectful, insinuating I was using the machine incorrectly, even though I wasn't. He claimed I should only wash full loads, contradicting the machine's presets. My past experience with an LG washer for over 10 years differs greatly. Now, I feel stuck with a useless appliance. I am disappointed in GE's response and will not purchase their products again. I plan to share my negative experience on social media to warn others. Thank you.
