We have a GE bottom freezer, two door refrigerator GFE**GSDASS. We just paid $*** for a service man to tell us that there is a flaw in the manufacture and he could not fix the problem we have of water collecting under the large bin in the refrigerator. Apparently the rod that is built into the line to help with the defrost has broken off and cannot be removed or repaired. We will continue to have water build up under our bin. Is this accurate? How can there be no solution for this problem? We paid good money for this refrigerator and do not want to have to replace it, nor do we feel we should have to be removing water from under the bin.
GetHuman-dyorkani did not yet indicate what GE Consumer Relations should do to make this right.
