Resolve issue ... We purchased a new White GE smooth top slide in range from Lowe’S and had to have the GE serviceman come out to check the range oven door that is not sealing properly and causing the top of the oven door and the cooktop to discolor. The serviceman was at our home on ********* and said there was nothing he could do because it was a structural and engineering issue. The oven door on the right side has a gap when closed that my wife can put her little finger in and open the door. We were given case ******** and were told to contact Consumer services. We are requesting that the range be replaced since the issue cannot be repaired by the serviceman. Please contact me regarding this issue. I am requesting the range be replaced. I called the telephone number given to me by the service representative and was on hold for * and one half hours and no one answered. I called back on August **, **** starting at *:**AM AND I AM STILL WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO ANSWER. Linda Farley (***) ***-****

Replace the unit because the serviceman stated anything he does would not resolve the issue.
