Since February, our oven has been out of order. It took months for the parts to arrive. After receiving the parts, the service department failed to show up for scheduled appointments. They even claimed to have visited when I was home the whole time. There was an instance when the service tracker said the technician was at my place, but he was nowhere to be seen. We purchased a top-tier Profile oven priced over $3,[redacted] and have been unable to use it for nearly four months. I've already paid for parts and labor, and I don't want to spend any more. I am requesting the remaining repair work to be done at no cost as compensation for the lost time and wages, which exceed $1,[redacted].

Dear Sir/Ma'am, I am writing to address an unpleasant experience I had with GE Appliance Repairs. Approximately a week ago, I requested a service to fix my GE Refrigerator's water leak. When Tech Mike and another technician arrived at my Coral Springs address, they identified a small leak at the water connection point outside the fridge. Unfortunately, Tech Mike refused to address the issue, citing it as a plumbing problem. When I inquired if he needed specific qualifications for his job, he reacted unprofessionally and abruptly left without explanation. His lack of communication and rude behavior left me disappointed, especially since I have been a loyal GE customer for over 40 years. My wife, who was unwell, was also affected by this incident. I believe Tech Mike could benefit from courtesy and communication training to better serve customers in the future. I kindly request your attention to this matter so that such incidents can be avoided in the future. Yours Truly, Mohammad J.

Subject: Concerns with GE Profile Series 30" Cooktop To Whom It May Concern, I bought a GE Profile Series 30" cooktop in April [redacted] from Towne Appliances. As a loyal GE customer for nearly 40 years, owning various GE products like a dishwasher for almost 30 years, a GE double wall oven for six years, and a recently purchased GE convection microwave oven, I'm disappointed with the quality of this cooktop. Since its installation in mid-June, the finish has started peeling off and the knobs have melted due to the heat, making it look worn out after only a short time of use. I appreciate the excellent customer service from Towne Appliances, but the issues with the cooktop do not reflect the usual quality I expect from GE products. I have noticed similar complaints online and would like GE to investigate this matter. I would be grateful if a GE representative could inspect the cooktop. Please contact me at [redacted] or [redacted]. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to hearing from the customer service team soon. Sincerely, Judy Twersky

Subject: Quality Concerns with GE 30" Cook Top To Whom It May Concern, I would like to bring to your attention the disappointing experience I have had with my GE Profile Series 30" cook top, which I purchased in April [redacted] from Towne Appliances. As a loyal GE customer for nearly 40 years, with various GE appliances like a dishwasher for almost 30 years, a double wall oven for six years, and a newly purchased convection microwave oven, I have always trusted GE for quality products. However, the cook top I recently purchased has not met my expectations. The metal finish quickly peeled under the heat, knobs melted, and the overall construction appears flimsy. Despite the excellent service provided by Towne Appliances, the quality of this product has been disappointing. Upon researching online, I noticed similar negative reviews from other customers. I hope GE can investigate these issues and improve the construction of their products to maintain the high standards they are known for. Sincerely, [Initials]

To: GE Appliance Consumer Relations PO Box [redacted], Rapid City, South Dakota, [redacted] Dear Consumer Relations, I bought a cooktop in April [redacted] from Towne Appliances as a loyal GE customer for almost 40 years. I own various GE products, including a dishwasher for nearly 30 years, a GE double wall oven for six years, and recently, a GE convection microwave oven. Despite being pleased with GE products in the past, I am disappointed in my GE Profile Series 30” cooktop purchased in April [redacted]. The stove's finish and construction are subpar; the metal coating peeled, knobs melted, and overall, the cooktop looks older than it is. I believe the quality does not align with past positive experiences and would like GE to investigate this matter further. I have noticed several negative online reviews concerning similar issues with this product. I would appreciate it if a GE representative could visit my home. You can reach me at [redacted] or [redacted]. Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to hearing from customer service. Sincerely, Mrs. J. Twersky

Since June 12, I have been attempting to file a warranty claim for a GE dehumidifier. Despite numerous calls to GE Support, I have faced extended wait times on hold. Upon finally speaking with a representative and providing requested information, I have been asked to re-submit the same details at least four more times. Despite assurances of receiving a Goodwill Certificate within 3 to 5 days on four separate occasions, I have yet to receive it. After an email on June 25 stating the Certificate was processed and on its way, I followed up with a call on July 5 (another hour on hold) and was promised a call back on July 8 but received none. I simply seek clarity on whether GE will uphold their warranty commitment. I find their handling of warranty matters disappointing and it will influence my future purchasing decisions and recommendations regarding GE products.

This is our second front-loading GE washer. The first one was replaced within 2.5 years due to being unrepairable. The replacement is now experiencing issues as well and no longer fills. GE service has come out twice to replace several motherboards, but the problem persists. A third service appointment is scheduled for a diagnostic test. I am frustrated as no one has provided a solution yet. I am wondering how many more service repairs need to happen before GE takes responsibility and replaces the washer with one that functions properly. It seems like this particular model may be problematic. - Brady [redacted]

I bought a washer and dryer in October [redacted]. Unfortunately, the washer had to be replaced in November [redacted] due to defects. Since then, I've had to schedule at least 2 service calls for the replacement washer. Currently, I am experiencing issues with the dryer, as it keeps shutting off after running for only 2 minutes. My experience with GE has left me extremely dissatisfied, and I am considering sharing my story on social media. I am hoping for a refund to assist me in purchasing a different brand of washer and dryer.

I purchased a dishwasher in November [redacted] and have been experiencing drainage problems ever since. Despite four visits from GE technicians, each one suggests a different solution. I have already checked and confirmed my water lines were clean in October [redacted]. The latest technician, Jose, advised me to purchase a longer hose to loop around for proper drainage, which I find unreasonable as it should have been provided with the dishwasher. Additionally, Jose's demeanor was unprofessional, and he even broke a valuable showpiece without offering adequate compensation. I am unsatisfied with the service and would like a replacement or a full refund as soon as possible. I had a better experience with my previous Maytag dishwasher and never encountered such issues. I am hoping that consumer relations can assist me in resolving this matter promptly.

I own a GE microwave with serial number JVM1950DR1WW and model number AA210565B. Two oven lights have burned out. After unsuccessfully trying different replacement bulbs recommended by the GE appliance book and the local store, I ended up with bulbs that were too big (serial numbers WB36X10057, WBO810057, and WB25X10019). I am frustrated with spending money on bulbs that don't fit. Can anyone help me find the correct replacement bulbs for my microwave?

I purchased a washing machine for $[redacted] on 6/12/19, but it does not fill with water as it should. Home Depot refused to replace it citing their policy and directed me to contact the manufacturer, which is you. The delivery took a week, and the first load only filled with 8" of water in the large capacity washer. Now, I have to wait another week for your repairman, scheduled between 8-5, causing me to take a day off work. The lack of a specific 4-hour window is frustrating. I am disappointed with the customer service and the product itself. I am considering sharing my experience on social media and warning my network about GE products. It's frustrating to have spent $[redacted] and still need to go to the laundromat for washing.

I recently purchased a new dishwasher, and upon initial use, the spray arm broke. GE repair technicians came out twice to fix the issue, but the dishwasher still leaks water. After a second visit, they determined that the motor has a crack and need to order a new part. I am now requesting approval for a replacement unit due to these ongoing issues with a brand new appliance. Despite speaking with Evan (ID#[redacted]), I still have not received a resolution. This has been a frustrating experience, requiring multiple service visits, and I am without a functional dishwasher. Please contact me at [redacted] to discuss further. Thank you.

I need to get rid of this GE Dishwasher from my house. I purchased it on January 17, [redacted], and it has caused serious damage to my kitchenware. The dishwasher scratched my pots, etched my glasses, and damaged my silverware. It even affected my pans and the racks were malfunctioning. Despite multiple technicians assessing the issue and ordering numerous parts, the problem persists. I paid for a new dishwasher, not one that needs to be rebuilt.

I bought a dishwasher in May [redacted] and got a 3-year extended warranty from Sears. The dishwasher leaked and damaged my engineered hardwood floor. I've contacted [redacted] and filed a complaint, case #[redacted]0. Merino Ramirez called me, asking for proof of the issue. I provided an electrician's report through my insurance, but now Merino says a GE-approved electrician needs to check the dishwasher in my home, even though my insurance took it. Despite Sears going out of business, I hope GE will do everything to keep customers happy. I bought a new GE dishwasher for $[redacted].58 and feel I deserve compensation for the unreliable one I initially bought.

I have been a loyal customer and stockholder of GE for generations. I am in urgent need of a replacement part for my Air Conditioner model AHM24dph1. After being on hold for over an hour, the customer service representative has not addressed my issue. Despite verifying my email multiple times, I have not received any response regarding the correct part, specifically the right side frame. Dealing with a third-party company, Parts Select, has also resulted in receiving incorrect parts due to missing or incorrect information. This situation is frustrating as I do not want searching for a $7 part to consume so much of my time. It is concerning as I have an elderly parent and child who soon will be affected by the extreme heat in my home. I am disappointed by the lack of assistance and prompt resolution. Your help in quickly resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I had a terrible experience with the repair service. My appointment to fix the oven's self-cleaning function was between 1-5:00. The technician arrived at 5:20 with no apology for being late. They needed a part and scheduled another appointment from 8-12:00 the following week. When I called at 9:30 to request a more specific time, I was promised a dispatcher would reach out, but no one did. No one arrived by 12:00, so I contacted consumer relations and they informed me the technician was delayed and wouldn't make it before 1:00 pm. Unable to wait, I rescheduled and requested to be the first appointment, but that wasn't possible. After waiting over 8 hours, my oven remains broken. I expect at least some communication about delays. This service is inadequate, and I'm very disappointed. This poor experience makes me reconsider choosing GE appliances in the future as customer service is crucial, and in this case, it was severely lacking.

Hi, I encountered a concerning issue with my GE over-the-range microwave (model: PVM919DF1BB, serial: MD233107B, manufactured in July [redacted]). There was smoke emitting from the bottom left side, with a distinct odor of burning plastic, prompting me to swiftly turn off and unplug the appliance to prevent a potential fire hazard. Although my purchase was made in December [redacted] and the warranty period has lapsed, I believe a unit displaying such a hazardous defect, at only 4 1/2 years old, necessitates a full replacement instead of costly repairs. I trusted GE as a reputable brand when I bought this microwave to complement my same-time purchased range, appreciating its features that matched my requirements. This issue has changed my satisfaction with the product. I hope to hear from you soon regarding the resolution of this matter. Feel free to contact me at [redacted] or via email at [redacted] if more information is needed. Thank you, Angela S.

I have been facing difficulties in getting my washer fixed since July 24, [redacted]. Despite multiple appointments, technicians have been hard to schedule and there have been instances of no-call-no-show. The service has been frustrating, with rescheduling taking an extensive amount of time each time. The original repair request was made on July 24, [redacted], with confirmation number: [redacted]36. I am eagerly searching for a timely repair and hope to have someone come to fix my washer as soon as possible.

In September [redacted], we purchased a GE refrigerator, model PYE22PSHSS, serial number RD511606. My spouse and I are disappointed with its quality. We've experienced numerous unexpected failures: - December [redacted]: Refrigerator section warm, despite temperature showing 50-55 degrees; service tech claimed all was fine. - January [redacted]: Temperature rose to 60 degrees, led to replacement of evaporator fan. - March [redacted]: No cooling or internal lights; system rebooted by technician to resolve high temperature issue. - May [redacted]: Detected electrical smell, no cooling; replaced evaporator motor, necessitating use of cooler with dry ice for a week. - August [redacted]: Ice maker malfunction, replacement took days for delivery. Our dissatisfaction stems from these ongoing issues, which were not present with our previous refrigerator used for 14 years. The fluctuating temperatures and frequent component replacements within five years indicate a decline in quality. We can't recommend GE based on our experience and would caution others considering a GE refrigerator purchase. Sincerely, Robert L. Banford [redacted] Colmar Quarter Norfolk, VA [redacted]

My experience trying to get my appliance repaired has been extremely frustrating. Despite sending numerous emails and making several phone calls to the repair department, including suggestions for a resolution, the communication has been poor. Teresa at the repair department has been particularly unhelpful, ignoring my emails and providing unhelpful responses. The last email I received stated that the loud clunking noise my GE gas range was making is normal and not covered by the warranty, which is unacceptable. Despite requesting to speak to a supervisor, the individual I was connected to did not have the necessary knowledge to assist me effectively. This experience has left me dissatisfied with the service provided for my GE [redacted] BTU AC. Even after sharing my concerns in a detailed email response to their customer satisfaction survey, I have not received any further communication from them, which is disappointing.
