I bought a new double oven range from home depot which doesnt work. There are a ton of reviews on the product and most are excellent but all of the complaints had the exact same issue of turning off during preheating. I called Home Depot who immediately redirected me to GE. I spent many hours trying to get GE to schedule the appointment as I would get disconnected ** minutes into waiting in queue but eventually explained the entire issue. I take off from work for the first GE appt. A guy comes last week with no parts and tells me he wasn’t told what the problem might be so he has to come back the following week as he doesn’t have those parts. He would ship the parts required to my house (I did receive a box) The appointment was today from *-* so I took off from work a second day and I call at *:** and the automated message asks me if I am calling about my appointment today? I said yes and got a woman on the phone who informs me that the appointment was rescheduled for ****. I wasn’t called and your own automated message said my appointment was today. I explain that GE isn’t treating me very well here and I did so without yelling as I know customer service can use that as an excuse to hang up on you. As expected she asked that I not yell but explaining the issue as I got impression she had no answer so defaulted to that. No one called again is my issue so I now have to take a third day off from work for me on a product I spent almost $**** for which is nuts. I am getting the worst customer service I have ever experienced as it is quite clear that no one from GE cares. I am truly at a loss so I guess you are telling me that I should go to Home Depot and try and get this product returned since GE doesn’t care?
