We purchased a new ge refrigerator in January of ****. Within the first year the fresh food fan went out and caused us to throw most of the contents of the freezer and refrigerator. The fan was was replaced at no cost for repair but we were still out the cost of the contents. Now on **-**-** the compressor went out causing us again to lose most of the contents. it is scheduled to be replaced on **-**-** for $***.**. I know that it is not under warranty now and we also know a refrigerator should not break down twice in less than four years. We are in the process of pricing out a new refrigerator and microwave for our basement remodel and we dont have a lot of faith in GE. We are wondering if anything can be done to build our confidence that Ge will stand behind their product when you get "that one" that seems to be a lemon.
