For over a year, after many many calls to Frontier Tech support the company has failed to maintain a stable DSL line. My DSL account is *** ***-**** .** social digits: *****Frontier just sent me a replacement DSL modem but I have not received instructions for its installation. Happy to do it myself if someone would walk me through the process. My cell number is ***-***-******More details:*For the past year my Frontier DSL Internet access service fails repeatedly — in recent months, at least * times per day. I’ve made many technical assistance requests and had as many visits by field technicians. In recent months, the technician does not show up and the support office reschedules for one week later. Couple of weeks ago telephone support observed that my long term problems were due to a failed Frontier modem and had a new one shipped to me for installation by a field tech. But once again, he did not show up. I received an an automated phone call, “due to circumstances beyond our control ...” telling me of yet another tech visit appointment. But the call became garbled and I did not hear the appointment date or time. When I called Frontier back to get the missing information, Frontier’s menus system would not put me through to the help desk, announcing that I had a scheduled “pending” visit appointment and disconnected me. Please help.
