******** (approximately *:**-*:**pm) I called customer service to find out if a disputed charge had been cleared, and spoke with Jelissa (employee * V*JRR***) who hung up on me. *I was not comfortable providing the last * numbers of my ss* (had provided account *, name, address, etc.), and she became irritated and spoke over me. I did not use foul language, and did not speak abusively) asked to be transferred, but she said she was not comfortable speaking to me any longer and hung up. Never cool.*Yes, I was frustrated, never rude (listen to recording if available)...I thought customer service sometimes requires speaking with unhappy customers. This all could have been avoided if she had just asked form my pin *. I called back and was given the info requested without any problem (Please commend that young woman to whom I spoke at about *:**pm!), and found that the account had been cleared. I'm happy. The closed account * is ***-***-****-******-*. I do hope that you at least mention at staff meetings that hanging up should never be an option, and if your employee is "uncomfortable" speaking with a customer that they should transfer the call to a supervisor...not hang up!
