Trying to become the primary owner of account ***-***-****-******-* as my deceased husband was the primary owner and I was an authorized user on the account. Trying to resolve why*on August **, **** Frontier was e-mailing me saying that I had ordered FIOS Double Play when I had been a FIOS Double Play customer since June **, ****. ... September *, *****Frontier Account Number ***-***-****-******-**Billing Address: Marshall T. Jeffus, *** Bardfield Ave., Garland, TX *****-*****Sandra D. Jeffus an authorized user of the account.**********************************************************************After Marshall T. Jeffus died in (****), I called Frontier on Monday, June **, **** (*-***-***-**** and changed my land line and internet to fiber optic (FIOS Double Play). Prior to making the change, my DSL High Speed digital internet was *****. It is not *******. When the change took place, Bryce Phillips was made authorized user of the account. Technician came on Saturday, June **, **** to change to FIOS.*On July *, ****, I received a Confirmation Order letter, confirming charges.**********************************************************************On August **, ****, Frontier Customer Service renamed my account from Marshall T. Jeffus to Sandra Jeffus. Confirmation * ********. I was told that the change would not take place until August **, ****. I was also told that changing the name on the account would not affect anything else. I thought it was unusual that the Customer Service Representative, Amber, asked for my social security number and date of birth.**********************************************************************On August **, ****, I received an e-mail thanking me for choosing Frontier and saying “We are dedicated to making the FIOS Double Play installation experience easier for you.” And, saying the installation date was *********. That was the date the Frontier had scheduled to come because of static on my landline phone. Order * was ******** . I went online and chatted with Frontier and the person I chatted with couldn’t explain why I had received the e-mail about FIOS Double Play installation, and said it was probably just a formality and nothing to be concerned about.*********************************************************************On September *, ****, I received e-mail saying that my monthly statement is now available, and current balance is $-*.**.********************************************************************On September *, ****, I received a Confirmation Order letter once again reflecting the services I have requested – FIOS Double Play. Showing account numbers ***-***-**** – ******-*.***** I did not request this order for FIOS Double Play. I have had FIOS Double Play since June **, ****. ********* All I requested was a name change on Marshall T. Jeffus account – ***-***-**** – ******-* to Sandra Jeffus.************************************************************************Saturday, September **, ****, I received a statement addressed to Sandra Jeffus, billing date, *********, saying that my total amount due is $***.**. Account number ***-***-**** – pin * ****. Why?? I need an explanation!!!**Saturday, September **, ****, another statement to Sandra Jeffus, billing date, *********, stating that total amount due is -$*.**. Saying: “You currently have a credit of $*.** on your account – ***-***-****-******-*, pin * ****
I need to know by email or regular mail how Frontier is resolving this issue. Why did I receive a bill on ****** for $***.** on one account and I don't know why Frontier set me up with this account as I have indicated in my detailed e-mail to Frontier Support how I was trying to become the primary owner of my deceased husband's account. That was ALL I was trying to accomplish!!!
