My boyfriend and I arrived on time for our return home flight from Denver, CO to Louisville, KY earlier in October (****). Frontier's "system" crashed right when we got to the ticket counter, and the attendant handwrote out our boarding passes. I thought it odd, but they're the airline, so okay. Get to security and they sent us back to Frontier. Even Fronteir sent us straight to the woman who handwrote the tickets. She was sorry, printed out our tickets because all this time later (and we're travelling with a dog, mind you) the system was miraculously back up, but when we got to the gate, we had missed our flight. Frontier says they offered us another flight, but since my luggage with all my meds in it was headed back to Louisville already, that wouldn't be acceptable. Especially since IT WAS FOR A DIFFERENT DAY. I had to scramble for my medications to even make it additional days. Need I explain to anyone with a terminal illness that this is not okay? We had to pay $*K to fly Southwest home. Frontier finally sent our luggage over a week later. Now Frontier says they won't do anything. Um, they handwrote the tickets. If I can't say "bomb" in an airport, then you as an airline can't ***** up with a handwritten boarding pass of sorts, which I still have, by the way. It's completely their fault. This is very bad customer care, and I will be the best spokesmodel a person can be until they fix it. They can count on it.
