We recently experienced a malfunction with our 3-year-old washer-dryer combo, model FFLE4033QW, SN 4E[redacted]3. Two out of the three screws holding the dryer drum in the back came loose, causing the drum to make grinding noises and move around. The service technician visited today and pointed out that, in addition to fixing the drum, we now need to replace the heating element, which was damaged as a result of the loose screws. The total cost for repairs is $[redacted], which we find quite steep for such a young machine. We believe this type of issue shouldn't have occurred so soon after purchase. Is there any compensation available or any information on potential recalls related to this problem? It's disheartening to invest in a reputable brand and face significant repair costs. I own a Fridgidaire Gallery French door refrigerator and I am experiencing a significant rust area on the back that is causing condensation to form a chunk of ice which then leaks down. I have read online that Fridgidaire has assisted others with a similar issue by providing a sweat kit. I would appreciate any guidance on how to get a repair done or obtain the necessary kit. I own a Frigidaire Gas wall oven model number FFGW2415QS that I bought new from Home Depot in April [redacted]. In July [redacted], I had to replace the ignitor, and then in September [redacted], I had more issues and had to replace the control board and touchpad. Recently, I had to replace the ignitor again, this time with the correct Electrolux part at three times the cost of the generic one I had replaced before. Frigidaire advised me to contact an appliance repair service located 60 miles away. It feels like my 2-year-old oven has had a lot of problems, and I'm concerned about the frequency of these issues.

I bought two Frigidaire appliances at Lowes, but both had issues right after installation. Dealing with customer service to schedule repairs has been frustrating. Some staff have been unhelpful, and the contracted service companies aren't much better. This experience has made me reconsider buying Frigidaire products in the future.

Hello, my name is Joseph D. Jr. I purchased a Frigidaire Gas Range (Model # FPGH3077RFB) and (Serial # AF[redacted]3) on March 20, [redacted], from Beach Sales in Revere, MA. Since receiving the stove, I have encountered numerous issues. The stove cooks unevenly and tends to overheat. I have had about 10 service calls with Grey's Appliance in Melrose, MA, and several parts have been replaced, yet problems persist. On the night before Thanksgiving, a fire occurred in the storage compartment while my wife was baking with parchment paper on a cookie sheet at only [redacted] degrees. The fire department had to intervene, and I believe it was caused by the stove overheating. Despite a recent service visit on December 6, [redacted], where the technician found everything normal, issues persist. I feel this poses a safety risk to my family and have contacted Frigidaire for assistance. I hope for a resolution and a replacement stove for the safety of my family. My Frigidaire gallery freezer temperature keeps fluctuating. I've already unplugged it for 24 hours, initially starting at 43°F, then dropping to around 18°F, but eventually rising to 19°F. After unplugging it for the third time for 40 minutes, it dropped to 0°F briefly, but then gradually rose again to 20°F before going back down to 15°F. I've checked the gasket using the $5 bill test, comparing it between the fridge and freezer, and they seem to be in similar condition. I'm not sure what else to look at to solve this issue. I have reached out to Frigidaire customer service twice and received conflicting information about purchasing replacement basket slide clips for my refrigerator. Initially, I was informed I needed to buy the entire drawer slide for $[redacted] as the clip is not sold separately. However, in a subsequent call, I was quoted $20 for a single clip but was unsure if it was the correct one due to discrepancies in part numbers for my single door freezer model PLFU1778ES2. Despite my research confirming part number [redacted]00 as the correct one, various retailers have been unable to guarantee its compatibility. I am disappointed and frustrated as multiple clips have broken, leaving my baskets unusable. According to online sources, these parts are under warranty for 10 years. I am seeking assistance with a prolonged repair issue on my laundry center, which has been ongoing for two months. The service technician has visited my home six times to replace parts, with the last four visits focusing on installing an electric board. Despite being informed that the electric board was incorrect or faulty on four occasions, a fifth board has now been ordered. I am frustrated by the unnecessary delay and repeated errors in resolving this issue. I am requesting either a replacement machine or a full refund, as this situation reflects poorly on Frigidaire's customer service. The lack of communication and resolution has been unacceptable, considering I have attempted to address this matter via phone calls without success. I reached out to the warranty department regarding my dishwasher issue. An appointment was scheduled for the repair, and I was told I'd receive a morning call to narrow down the arrival time. Despite waiting after booking the day off work, no contact was made by 10:30 am. When I called the warranty department, I was informed that no one was coming as the repair had declined the service call. I questioned why there was no communication, to which they couldn't provide an answer. Now, I have to reschedule another appointment, take another day off work, and I'm dissatisfied with this ordeal. This is my second encounter with the warranty department, and both experiences haven't been satisfactory. I will not be recommending this brand to others, especially after purchasing four new appliances less than a year ago.

My dehumidifier is displaying an F0 code repeatedly even after unplugging it as instructed. I have emailed Frigidaire twice regarding this issue, but have not received any responses. Many others online seem to be facing the same problem with units less than 2 years old. I had a similar experience with a previous dehumidifier from the same company, which was replaced but failed again. I am disappointed by the lack of durability in their products. Despite trying to contact them via email and phone without success, I have purchased a dehumidifier from a different company. I am seeking some form of compensation from Frigidaire for the poor quality of their product.

I spoke with a customer service representative regarding issues with my Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator. They recommended A&E Factory Repair for assistance. After a long wait, the earliest appointment available is on July 21st. This delay is causing electrical problems and water leakage, which is concerning as I have a diabetic family member needing refrigerated insulin. It seems like purchasing a new fridge may be necessary. This is the second Frigidaire product I have owned, and the stove bought at the same time has already been replaced. Both products are under six years old, and I believe they should have a longer lifespan.

I purchased a wall oven on 11/21/19 from Home Depot in Asheville, NC. It has been faulty from the start and has now completely stopped working on 7/19/20. The oven would shut off at [redacted]°F, and I had to reset the breaker to turn it back on. Eventually, the fan started running non-stop, even when not in use. Despite numerous calls to your company and promises of repair appointments, no one has shown up or called back. After contacting Home Depot multiple times, I am still waiting for a resolution to the ongoing issues with the oven.

On July 14, [redacted], I emailed your company and received confirmation of receipt; however, no further action has been taken regarding my complaint. We purchased refrigerator model LFSS2312TFO with serial #4A[redacted]7 from our local Lowe’s on May 24, [redacted]. The ice dispenser jammed six months after purchase and was temporarily repaired by a technician. Instead of replacing the entire ice crusher bin, a band-aid fix was applied, resulting in the issue recurring multiple times. Approaching the warranty expiration, I requested a permanent fix, but due to COVID-19 delays, the technician could only visit right before the warranty ended. Despite the dispenser not malfunctioning during his visit, I insisted on a replacement. The technician claimed the part was out of stock and failed to backorder it, which seems misleading. As retirees on a fixed income, we seek Frigidaire's assistance in resolving this ongoing problem. The previous visits by customer service did not address the issue adequately. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.

I purchased a 50 pint dehumidifier with the serial number IN[redacted]1 and SVC model number FFAD5033R1 from Best Buy in January [redacted]. After just a year of use, the unit stopped working and displays the F0 error code. I have already conducted basic troubleshooting steps like voltage checks, changing outlets, and cleaning the filter. I even disassembled the dehumidifier to clean the coil sensor, but the issue persists. Since summer [redacted], the dehumidifier has been unused in my basement. I purchased the Frigidaire side-by-side refrigerator in May last year. I have been experiencing issues with it freezing the water and my food (especially lettuce) in the chill drawer even though the temperature setting is at 40. The repairman has visited three times already, and despite replacing two parts during the last visit, the problem returned after two weeks. I am worried that it might freeze my insulin, resulting in significant financial loss. The repairman is scheduled to come around the 23rd of this month. To Whom it May Concern, After 7 years, we unfortunately need to replace our refrigerator due to water leaking from the ice buildup at the back, deemed not worth repairing by our maintenance person. We did not anticipate having to replace it before 10 years. The offer of a 10% discount on a new refrigerator under the same brand did not ease our concerns, given the repair costs totaling $[redacted] on top of the $1,[redacted] spent. We are considering giving Frigidaire another chance. The dishwasher purchased alongside the refrigerator was replaced 2 years ago. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I am disappointed with the service I have received regarding my new Frigidaire refrigerator. I had it delivered on July 15, [redacted], without a water filter, which affected the water and ice function. Although I received a filter last week, the ice maker is still not working. Mr. Appliance was sent to inspect it, but after the visit, the issue persists and I now have an unexpected bill. I believe I should not have to incur repair costs for a new appliance. I bought a Frigidaire dishwasher in April [redacted] from Lowe's, thankfully with an extended warranty. The customer service representative I dealt with today was extremely impolite, making it challenging to lodge a complaint. I've reached out to Frigidaire and the local repair shop twice within 24 hours, yet I still have no resolution timeline. Considering my prior experiences with the poor product quality and service, I anticipate a drawn-out process. Despite owning all Frigidaire kitchen appliances, I will avoid this brand in the future solely based on the inadequate customer service. It's disappointing how the product, support, and specifically the customer service have let me down.

My parents have had a fridge under warranty that's been broken for over four months. It took multiple attempts to contact someone and arrange for repairs. Each call to customer service involved waiting on hold for over an hour. Despite the fridge being "fixed," it started experiencing the same issue within a week. After multiple follow-up calls, my mother was informed it would take months to resolve. Frustrated, she sought answers regarding a replacement but faced more delays. Despite promises to be contacted about the replacement, no such call was received. When she inquired, she was told they tried to reach her but couldn't, leading to the cancellation of the replacement. The lack of communication has caused much hardship, especially during a pandemic when eating out is not safe for my father, a high-risk individual.

Hello, Our technician has been out four times to repair our dishwasher. Initially, the water leaking was fixed by installing a new arm. However, the dishwasher now has a cracked arm and is making banging noises. The drains are not plugged. This issue is frustrating as we recently purchased the dishwasher in February. After finally getting through on the phone to schedule another service, the call got disconnected and didn't receive a callback despite confirming my contact information. The long wait times on hold or inability to take calls due to heavy volumes are unacceptable. This situation needs to be resolved promptly.
