On August 24th, I received the wrong medication, Meclizine 25mg, from Fred's Pharmacy Highway 82 East instead of the Promethazine 25mg that my doctor prescribed. After speaking with the nurse from my primary doctor's office, I returned the Meclizine to the pharmacy and picked up the correct medication. I contacted Fred's Corporate in Memphis, Tennessee, and informed them of the medication error. The clinical pharmacist mentioned that the mistake should have been caught before I left the store. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue with customer service and district manager, I only received an offer for a gift card, which I found unacceptable. I will pursue this matter legally if a fair resolution is not reached. I documented the wrong medication received, returned, and the communication with the pharmacy in photos. I expect a prompt and fair settlement and will continue with legal action if necessary.

I initially reached out to my local Fred's pharmacy to request a copy of my pharmacy records, as is my legal right. However, the way in which I was spoken to made me feel like I was not entitled to them. Despite persistently calling the store, I was directed to their main line (1-[redacted]) after much effort. I have followed up for two weeks, leaving messages, but have received no response. The lack of professionalism and the dismissive attitude towards my request for my own records is concerning. I am aware of the necessary privacy laws like HIPPA that protect such information, and I am willing to comply with any required releases. All I ask for is for someone to return my call so that I can proceed with obtaining the documents I am entitled to.

On October 28th, my mom and I visited Fred's in Munfordville, Kentucky to purchase Tide 75 oz on sale for $8.95, but we were charged $10.00. Despite using $2 digital coupons, our total should have been $6.95 plus tax, not the $8.95 plus tax we paid. I attempted to contact the main office without success and returned to the store, where they couldn't help because the cash register hadn't reflected the sale price. I value shopping at Fred's, but the incorrect pricing and lack of response are disappointing. If this issue isn't addressed, I may need to take my business elsewhere for accurate pricing and better customer service.

Today, I visited my local Fred’s store in Royston, GA, as I often do. Upon paying at the counter where tobacco products are located (usually the only one open), I encountered an unfortunate incident. As I was leaving after completing my purchase, the gate that swings for employees to enter and exit the counter was positioned incorrectly, causing me to accidentally hit my thigh on it. The impact was quite painful, and even after five hours, I still feel discomfort and notice a knot on my thigh. I suspect it may bruise eventually. I want to bring this to your attention not for any compensation but to highlight a safety concern. The gate should only swing inward, away from where customers pass by, to prevent potential injuries. It's crucial to address this issue promptly as such accidents can result in serious harm, especially to children. I believe the part that hit me is the piece meant to lock the gate. Its sharp edge could cause significant harm if someone collided with it. Thank you for addressing this matter. Best regards, Leigh Ann A.

There is an urgent matter that needs attention. The store closure is affecting the elderly and disabled community members who greatly depend on the accessible location and affordable prices. Our voices should be considered before final decisions are made. This Fred's location on Summer Ave holds immense value for the residents. Despite past challenges, with the right support, the store can thrive again. The community has expressed concerns to the mayor during a recent visit, underlining the significance of this store. It would be devastating for this store to close down, as the next closest location is not feasible for many due to transportation limitations. Preservation of this store is crucial for the neighborhood. Please reconsider the closure of this store and allow us to have a say in this situation. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. Warm regards, Kathryn Hagewood.

When a sale is advertised with exclusions, you can't use them to go against what the sign states. For example, if it says "percentage off lowest marked price," you can't claim it doesn't apply to marked-down items. The offer I signed for 50% off the lowest marked price was valid, and a contract was formed. The manager refused to honor it, saying it could hurt employees if I sued. I still want the 7 decks of Maverick playing cards and 10 sets of dice at half their price, even if they're out of stock. I hope they can be donated to impoverished children. I called my friends to check their local stores, but we were told the offer was not valid. I believe the sign above the product should prevail in court. I might consider representing myself in this case. Apologies for the lengthy message, just feeling frustrated and upset.

I had a disappointing experience shopping at Fred's in Mantachie, MS today. The cashier was unfriendly and charged me twice for an item without my knowledge. When I pointed out the mistake, she rudely agreed to refund me without apologizing. She then ignored me to help other customers, leaving me waiting. Despite refunding me $1.12 instead of the $1.66 she overcharged, she didn't explain the discrepancy. When I inquired about the missing amount, she became even more hostile, only rectifying it after I persisted. The transaction code on the original receipt is [redacted][redacted][redacted].

I purchased six window air conditioner units at the Fred's location in Cabot, Arkansas, as they were closing down. However, two of the [redacted] BTU units I bought are faulty and didn't work straight out of the box. The store was not allowing exchanges or refunds due to the closure. I paid nearly $[redacted] for each unit, which is disappointing. I am concerned about the other units I haven't opened yet. I am looking for a place that might permit an exchange or refund with the receipt. I will also try reaching out to the manufacturer. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am writing as an employee of Fred's in Ripley, MS to express my concerns about being treated unfairly at work. I have requested time off twice due to a family emergency, but have been consistently denied while other colleagues have been granted time off. Additionally, my interactions with keyholder Lora have been disrespectful and unprofessional. She belittles me and even leaves me alone in the parking lot after work. Despite bringing these issues up to store manager Lara, no actions have been taken to address them. The promise of a keyholder position has also been broken, leaving me feeling undervalued and overlooked. It is disheartening to see newer employees given responsibilities that I was promised. This mistreatment has taken a toll on my well-being, evident in my increased blood pressure. I am dedicated to my job at Fred's and want to continue working here, but I cannot tolerate this mistreatment any longer. I am hopeful that these issues can be resolved promptly to create a more positive work environment for everyone involved. Thank you.

While vacationing with my family in Cherokee Village, Arkansas, we encountered an upsetting experience. My grandma urgently needed insulin syringes, which she forgot to bring. When I went to the pharmacy to purchase them, I provided the necessary information on a piece of paper but was denied by the staff who demanded proof of her diabetes. This situation led to unwarranted assumptions about me due to my tattoos, causing distress and embarrassment. The staff's unprofessional behavior, making inappropriate remarks, and refusing the sale without proper cause, has left me considering legal action. I feel unjustly judged and offended by their actions, especially considering the lack of a law requiring proof of diabetes for buying syringes. I need to address this issue promptly, as it could have serious consequences. The pharmacy's arbitrary rule without clear guidelines is discriminatory and has put my grandmother's health at risk. The situation must be rectified to prevent similar incidents in the future.
