Help with my Four Points by Sheraton issue

Hello*My *st grandbaby was born and I drove from Ft Worth TX to Galveston TX to see my family for a few days. *I have been on medial leave due to back issues and have to watch what I do until my surgery in July.*I stayed at the hotel because the family stayed at the hospital for a few days and so I did not have to climb up and down the apartment steps anytime I wanted to go and see them or go somewhere due to my back issues.*I woke up early Thursday, *-**-** to take my time packing and a loud boom took place, the lights went off and the a*c went off. The lights flickered off and on and then just one bathroom light stayed on.*I called downstairs and no one answered. *I figured a fuse blew and they were working on it.*It was very hard to get ready in the bathroom with one tiny light working.*There was no air working so that was miserable.*After awhile you would think, an employee would let their guests know somehow on what was happening,*I gather up what I could carry on one trip and would come back and get my computer and other bag. I walk out to the elevators and they are not working.*I walk over to a maid and ask her if the elevators will be out for awhile and what has happened. She shrugged her shoulders and grabbed a few towels and walked in to a room.*I went back to my room and gathered the rest of my things. I was on the *th floor and had to walk down * flights of stairs with * herniated discs which two are bulging and a fractured SI Joint. *I was hurting and very upset when I got to the front desk, Some lady walks out and says, are you checking out? I said, yes and I am very unhappy what took place this morning. I have a hurt back and no one was around to help the customers or answer the phone. She did not say sorry, what can we do for you, can we help you with your items to the car. Nothing but, "our system is down right now and we can email you the receipt".*Absolute horrible customer service.*I put some items down on the side of the parking lot and went to my car to put some things in it so I could go back and get the rest of my things and a man and lady walked up to help me. He asked if he could help me and if I was checking in or out, He saw that I was upset and I told him I was checking out and what had happened.*He told me, he was going to email American Express to get a refund because of this event and how him and his pregnant wife were treated.*He also told me, there was a small electrical fire on floor * and *.*No one bothered to tell me that while I was at the front desk,*I understand no one wants customers to panic,*However, there is ways to handle the customers and to find ways to help your customers.*This was very very poor management at this hotel.*I am so very disappointed that this took place.*They absolutely did not care about me or others.*I would like some kind of refund and an apology from someone that cares.*Thank you for listening,**Tina Meads
