I used MyCheckFree and somehow made a payment to an old and closed FPL account in my name instead of paying it to the new FPL account with my fianc*’s name for our apartment. For some reason FPL accepted $*** to my account that was closed over a year ago and applied it. I need that money to be applied to the correct FPL account before they shut off my electricity tomorrow, and I refuse any other way for this to be solved. I also need the late charges removed from my account for this and the next billing cycle due to this error on FPL’s behalf.
