I had a round trip booked from Vancouver to Auckland (Departing Vancouver March **, ****, returning April **th, ****). I bought an Air New Zealand flight through Flighthub.*When COVID hit, I could see on the Air NZ website that they had cancelled all flights from Auckland to Vancouver for my return date, therefore my reservation really no longer existed, however i NEVER heard from Flight Hub about this.**Around March **th, knowing that I essentially only had a one way flight but still never hearing from flighthub I cancelled my trip knowing that if I didnt it may look like a no show at the airport for my departing flight.....**I am really upset that I paid a hefty cancellation fee for a trip that didnt exist any more and I would like a complete refund.**Flighthub booking number: ***-***-*****I paid $****.** and was refunded only $****.**.**I have tried, both at the time before my departure and throughout the last months to contact flighthub with no success.**I am extremely disappointed that I never received any correspondence that my return flight was cancelled and that i have wasted days trying to speak to someone at your company.*-----------Dear KLEIN **Good day **In regards to your booking, We have received your request to review charges that appears on your credit card .* *We have reviewed your request and unfortunately your request is not eligible for Credit card investigation**In regards to your refund process, Please note that up to ** March ( the day of requesting cancellation online ) your flights was ready to go and no airline notification for any flight cancellation or schedule change, We have received your approval to process refund according to fare rules and it had been process, *Unfortunately the Airline penalty can not be refunded *Please keep in mind that as per the airline travel advisory even if the flight got cancelled by them they are are not offering refund , only offering Future travel credit.* *For any further information do not hesitate to contact us ** *Kind regards*Nermine*Escalation Offline*-----------Prior to March ** on the news and AIr new zealand website (photos attached from news source dated March **, ****), they had posted that flights from Auckland to Vancouver were cancelled, this included my return date of April **th,*I was not notified of this. You can understand I cancelled my flight on March **th and I was supposed to fly from Vancouver to Auckland, NZ on March **th. There was NO reply calling FlightHub or Air Newzealand and I could see on the news that I had no return flight, so of course I was not going to go on a flight that I didnt have a return flight for.**I am extremely upset that I was never notified about this. I do expect to receive the cancellation fee returned to me, or atleast a $*** credit.
