I would like a call from the district manager of the Simi Valley location or an email with information on how i can go about speaking with someone. I have already spoken to the general manager Joe. I was not given a resolution. *At the end of February my spouse and i signed up to the new gym in Simi. I’ve never signed up to a gym before which i made clear. I wanted * memberships and a personal trainer to try out for myself. After speaking with Elena she brought Joe over to give more detail. We went over our finances and what we could afford at the time. He told i had to sign up for the personal trainer for * months to get the deal he was offering. I said that’s fine i can do * months at $*** a month. They were in the process of getting a new computer system so i left without paperwork and i also didn’t receive paper work in an email. When i got a funky charge a few weeks later i went in to view my gym membership and asked questions but they could pull one of ours up on the system they said they couldn’t find it but explained the charge. I then asked about for a copy of my membership. The only thing i know was the annual fee came out in May. *Then on April **th i received a *rd $*** charge for the personal trainer even though i specifically told then i could only do * months. I immediately called Elena my personal trainer that’s when she said i had to cancel. I said okay please cancel me and refund my money. This was the first time some one said i needed to cancel. So i asked her to speck with the manager about that. She called back days later and said i actually needed to come in the give a written cancel or I’d be charged again. Now I’m mad. She then said joe won’t refund the money. So i scheduled time to see him. Joe did not once mention anything about the personal trainer program needing to be canceled or that i was signing up for automatic enrollment. He said yes i told you it was ETF. I said to him EFT means electronic funds transfer. Not contract, not auto enrollment etc. I am a store manager here in Simi at the ALDI store i know how things are supposed to work. I do not want to continue with the personal trainer and i ask to have have the *** credited to my account if for some reason he could just refund it. It was in pending status when this all started. *I then asked him to speak to the district manager he said he couldn’t give the number so he would call him thst night and asked me how late was too late? I said anytime. Days went by so we went in again and he said what i told u it was EFT and acted like he was supposed to call us back. I don’t think he is giving anyone the full story because he is clearly a inexperienced manager operating a new store with new systems. All i want is my money back or credited and do not want any more personal training sessions. This is completely unethical and is horrible business practice. I will contact who i need to but i am hoping for a response for corporate. My phone number is************
