I am writing to vent my frustration with the way Fitbit handles customers with problems. I contacted Fitbit (case*********) on **-**-** about my Fitbit Ionic that was not working properly. I talked to a customer service person and we went through a series of factory resets and other things in an attempt to rectify my problem. Unfortunately nothing worked. I‘d like say first of all, between my wife and I,we have five Fitbit watches so I like the product and have had minimal problems. I started with the ONE and have owned the Charge, Blaze, and now the Ionics so I have been a loyal customer. My complaint is the appalling offer Fitbit made for a replacement Ionic of **% percent off another watch. My Ionic is three months out of warranty and that’s the best a company like Fitbit can offer to solve my problem??? I certainly don’t expect a free replacement but for a watch only fifteen months old **% off is a slap in the face to its customers! I may add I have Apple watches also and over the years I had an issue with one of them, the watch was ** months old and when I went to Apple to buy another, the customer service rep wanted to see the watch and afterwards told me their product shouldn’t have failed as it did and replaced it completely free of charge. The main reason I also use the Fitbit is because I really liked some of its features. I can honestly say I will no longer purchase any Fitbit products and will do everything possible to influence others in my workout circle not to purchase Fitbit items. There are too many other smartwatch companies to stay with one that stands behind their products like Fitbit!*Thanks, Gary
