The issue in GetHuman-lladegaa's own words
I was shopping at your Southpark Mall location in Strongsville OH on Tuesday January *th. I was looking at the Women’s Nike Epic React Flyknit running shoes. I asked the woman who was working on the floor to get me a size *.* in the color “Vast Grey*Metallic Gold*Metallic Platinum”. The woman said that they did not currently have them in store in a size *.* but that she could order them for me and have them shipped to my house. I was concerned that if I ordered them online I would not get the discount that was advertised in store that day (which was $**) the woman assured me that I would still be getting them for that price. The woman walked me to the register and ordered them for me and checked me out at the cost of $** and let me know I should be receiving them in a few days. The shoes arrived at my house on January **th. I opened the box to find that they had shipped me the incorrect shoes. They sent me the shoe in “Light Silver*Sail*MIca Green*Crimson” instead of the grey ones I had asked the woman to order me. Assuming that maybe the factory*warehouse had made a mistake, I called the store and informed them what had happened. The woman I spoke with on the phone was the same woman that had helped me in the store who ordered them for me. She was very apologetic and told me to just simply bring the shoes I received back to the store and she would reorder them correctly. I returned to the store the next day, January **th. I approached the counter and explained why I was there. The man who was at the counter went to do an exchange and reorder my shoes in the correct color then told me that I now needed to pay the $** some difference. I was very confused as to why I needed to pay more and the man told me that the color of that style shoe I wanted had never been the price that I paid for them and that that shoe was not on sale, even though the woman at my first visit ensured me that they were. He then called the woman who originally helped me over to the counter and asked for her side of the story. She told him that she had ordered them for us the other day and they came in the wrong color so she had instructed us to bring them back and get them ordered in the correct color. He asked her if she ever mentioned the price of them being discounted, and she denied ever telling me they were discounted. At this point the man and woman were both starting to get rude and loud with me so I said forget it I’m just returning them and I do not want to order any other shoes.**I was extremely frustrated by the entire experience. I have been a loyal finishline customer for many years. However, after this experience I will no longer be shopping at finishline and do not recommend them to anyone.
