Get a triangle portion of the property released from the mortgage so the neighbor can sell and close on his home ... I am a realtor and listed a house for sale. The seller indicated that his neighbor had an idea to change the lot lines so she could have a bigger back yard and honestly the change was good for both parties. They had a survey done and the township approved the change and they recorded the change. When I listed the home they indicated they did this and it was complete. We obtained a buyer and through a title search we found out they never had the property released from each others mortgage which becomes a huge problem because both of their mortgages were attached because of the lot line change. This was * weeks before we were to close which would have been around February *th. Upon contacting the neighbor she hired an attorney which advised her that she would need to have the portion of the property that they exchanged released. He contacted her lender and completed all the necessary paperwork her lender required except an appraisal since she just purchased this home around a year ago. The insisted she get an appraisal and she did. Appraisal was done March *th immediately sent to the lender. The lender said that they are required to send the information snail mail and the FHA would not accept email, fax, scans etc. They would only accept the info regular mail? That was around the **th of March and we have continued to follow up with the attorney who in turn is following up with the lender and we are told it is the FHA that is hold this up. The Borrower on the FHA Loan is Rodney J Miller, ** Peters Road, Greensburg, PA *****, the FHA Case Number is ***-*******-***-***B. The buyers loan has expired we now have to have another appraisal. While I understand the severity of this issue this all started in February and it is now May and soon to be June we were told this could take ** to ** day and we are working on ** day. Is there any way you can give me some direction? I am available if need be by phone at ***-***-****. We are just at the point where we don't know what to do next and the lender is blaming it on FHA and since it all had to go regular mail we are concerned that it is sitting on someones desk and we can't get any updates from the lender and they have said they do not have a contact person at the FHA? It sounds pretty unbelievable that in this digital day and age that we can't speak to someone when there is a problem. Please help us find our way through this as we are afraid of loosing the buyer because there has been no resolution and no updated communication.

Approve the release of the triangle that is attached to the neighbors property
The mortgage is current and always being paid.
Working through the current lender has been a dead end. They are saying the FHA is holding this up as they said they can not release without your approval.
