I went into the union gap store sat afternoon and spent ***.** for shoes for my children (one of whom needed for work that night and lost he's work hours that night because he didn't have) I slid my debit card her drawer opened but no receipt so she rang the items up again and my card was declined because of insufficient funds I called my bank they verified that the funds had been taken from my card that it sometimes takes a little time for the app to say not pending but that the funds where waiting for famous footwear to finish the transaction on their end we sat on the phone for ** min while she rang up and re rang up my items swiping my card over and over making more charges I get for getting declined transactions then another ** min and spoke to a gentleman that I was informed was management but ended up being another associate from a richland store whom lied to me made lightly of the situation and from the gals giggling thought it was funny in the end we walked out the store without out shoes broke extremely disappointed embarrassed and upset. Not only did we wait ** min in line * be rang up took forever to find an associate for help to find them huddled up front talking about their pay but humiliated in front of at least ** ** people for nothing hours later the bank app no longer said pending all * people said it was me my bank then it was the new machines and that I asked for ** in cash back that I would ha e to wait until mon or tue to get my shoes back or money unless I can come up with another *** **. I don't have that kind of money to just throw around i just started working again single mom * teens. I truly think all of this was unnecessary and would like at least a half discount on the shoes that are still sitting in the store paid for but because the associates weren't sure or willing to fix im sorry if this is all over but it really upsets me and hurts that my children suffered and humiliated in front of dozens of people for over an hour to walk away with nothing when I their mother paid for it.
