Help with my Family Mobile issue

I chatted online with Malyn who disactivated my current family mobile number . He was trying to PORT a new phone number I purchased from a vanity number company.*After ** min he told me I have to call familymobile to buy a NEW SIM card ... he could not port my NEW number without it. He deactivated my current phone with familymobile. I can’t get a person on the line ... and my phone number I have had for * years with them is now deactivated. *All I can do now is go to another carrier I guess?

They reconnected my service ... just after I posted on your site. I was still not able to talk to an actual person and get my new number I purchased ported. I will have to go to another carrier for that. But at least I have my phone service back at my current number. Thanks.
