I bought two AT&T Motivate smartphones and two $40 refill cards, totaling around $[redacted]. When I tried to activate one phone, it didn't work. AT&T informed me the phones were not compatible. The store manager refused a refund at the NE 30 and Kelley store in Oklahoma City, saying I had to contact customer service. I understand the no refund policy, but this issue isn't my fault. The manager should have made an exception, especially as others may face the same problem. I simply want a refund for the phones. I have all the receipts and accessories, though I did open the phones.

Approximately 6-8 months ago, the store manager at Store [redacted] on FM 78 in Converse, TX [redacted], put up a "no trespassing" sign without reason. This action was taken by the manager and not involving the police. There have been complaints about the manager and employees' behavior, including cursing, eating while working, and taking too long with customers in line. The manager was seen spending more time chatting with a customer than attending to others waiting in line. The manager also seems to be setting his own rules on pricing and customer access, like banning backpacks. There are concerns about his conduct and potential misconduct. It's suggested that the manager and male employees should be monitored, possibly arrested, and terminated. Additionally, there are concerns about the lack of female employees at the store, which is perceived as discriminatory.

Greetings 😊. I'd like to share some feedback on the products available at the Gardner, MA store. Currently, there are four brands of bleached flour, and I believe there should be options for unbleached flour and corn flour. It would be great to have jarred banana peppers, a better selection of herbs and spices, and natural peanut butter without additives. Sesame sticks are a delightful snack that I enjoy. Additionally, offering light cream instead of just half & half would be appreciated. Customers in Gardner may not favor all the items currently stocked. Suggestions include aluminum-free baking powder, terracotta planting pots, a variety of potting mix, and more food-growing seeds. It's essential to consider healthier choices as many of us depend on your stores. Providing what customers desire will likely attract more shoppers. Multiple brands of bleached flour are unnecessary. Your district managers should prioritize meeting customer requests. It's a critical time, and offering essential items is vital. More mason jars in different sizes with a focus on lids availability would also be beneficial. Thank you for considering these suggestions. Best regards, Ginge. God bless.

I would like to commend the fantastic team at the store on Martin Luther King in Wichita Falls, Texas. Recently, I witnessed a situation where a hostile female customer was verbally mistreating a cashier, demanding respect, without any valid reason. Despite not knowing the cashier's name, the customer's behavior was uncalled for. I felt compelled to share my positive experience as all the cashiers there are efficient, courteous, and friendly. The cashier wrongly accused of being disrespectful remained composed and professional throughout. I hope this feedback helps to maintain the high level of service at your store. Thank you for taking the time to read this. - D.C. from Wichita Falls, Texas, [redacted].

This morning, I visited Family Dollar store number [redacted] and had an interaction with an employee named Katia. She refused to honor my coupons and was impolite when I inquired about it, citing two unjustified reasons related to her Hispanic background. I felt discriminated against as a customer who speaks both Spanish and English. It was disappointing that Katia, despite being bilingual, demonstrated a lack of professionalism. It is frustrating to make the effort to visit a store only to encounter issues redeeming valid coupons provided by the corporation. Respect for customers and adherence to discount policies are essential, and employees should be courteous and not make assumptions about customers’ education level based on stereotypes.

Hello, I recently visited one of your stores on Second Street in Manchester, NH [redacted]. I had a very disappointing customer service experience. I rang the bell for assistance at the counter, and the manager indicated that someone would help me shortly as she was busy with an order. I was left waiting until an employee came out from the back to assist me. As I was leaving, I expressed my disappointment that the manager didn't prioritize customer service. In response, the manager followed me outside, using aggressive language and behavior. This manager has consistently shown rudeness and a lack of attention to customers. Having worked in customer service and management for 40 years, I understand the importance of prioritizing customers. I believe this matter needs to be addressed, and I urge for the manager in question to be terminated. If this issue is not resolved, I will have to inform others to avoid your stores and share my experience online. If needed, I can be contacted at the area code [redacted]. Thank you, C. Kelley

Today, I visited a Family Dollar store on Saint Clair Avenue in Cleveland, Ohio. I used my Mastercard debit card to pay for my items but did not receive a receipt. The cashier raised their voice at me multiple times, accusing me of not paying. Despite explaining my honesty and age, the cashier publicly accused me of stealing. This unnecessary embarrassment left me deeply upset, especially since I make a point to support my community and help those in need. Feeling disrespected, I am considering returning the purchased items or donating them to a local church. I expect a formal apology from the manager and the cashier in front of other customers for their unprofessional behavior. Although I have previously praised this store for the staff's honesty in returning a lost purse and a favorite item, I am now disappointed and hurt by this incident.

I recently visited a store at [redacted] Greenfield Street in Wilmington, NC. Upon entering, I observed the manager following three elderly women out of the store and engaging in a heated argument with one of them regarding his service. The manager's behavior was loud, rude, and disrespectful. Subsequently, I encountered a female associate at the register who was loudly stating, "I don't care who they call, I will deny seeing you do anything." This incident has deeply concerned me. As an owner and operator of a salon in Wilmington, I hold my staff to a higher standard. If any of my employees behaved in such a manner towards a customer, swift termination would follow. The gentleman in question also previously worked at a local gas station and was terminated for similar behavior. This individual is undoubtedly a liability, as evidenced by his past actions escalating to such a level. I fear that if this behavior continues, there will be more complaints and potential serious issues at the store.

I have frequented this particular store location for the past five years without any prior issues. However, today I was denied entry with my bicycle, which I have brought inside each time due to a past incident of theft. The new employee was disrespectful towards me, smoking and on the phone right by the door while refusing my entry with my bike. This behavior was unacceptable, and I remained calm despite her rudeness. This situation has never occurred before at this store where I am a regular customer. I have informed my family that we will not be patronizing this establishment until the employee is terminated. I hope my complaint is taken seriously and addressed promptly.

I would like to confirm the availability of the "Friskies surf and turf dry cat food" in the purple bag, preferably the 3-pound size. I'm willing to order four bags at once, as required on the website, and pay the $12 shipping fee. It's crucial for me to ensure the availability of this product, as the nearby store has been out of cat food for a while. Can someone please verify that the item is in stock and will not be put on back order or go out of stock unexpectedly? Thank you.

I have been a loyal customer at Family Dollar in Brownfield, Texas for years. On April 30, I bought a 9 oz bag of Meow Mix, only to find out that my girlfriend had already bought a 30 oz bag. I tried to return the unopened bag with the receipt on May 1, but the manager refused, citing a policy I couldn't find on the website. This experience has driven me away as a customer, and I will be sharing my negative experience with others. If there is an "all sales final" policy, it needs to be clearly communicated to customers before they make purchases. I requested a contact number for a regional manager or the corporate office from the store manager and was rudely told to search for it online. I hope for a more respectful interaction from you. Sadly, you have lost a loyal customer. Louis M.

I have noticed that some employees at the store on Shorter Avenue in West Rome, Georgia have not been drug tested before starting their first day. Is it not store policy to drug test new hires? I believe it's essential to ensure everyone's safety and follow company guidelines to prevent any legal issues or incidents. It would be beneficial to conduct thorough drug testing at Family Dollar #[redacted] to uphold the standards. Your attention to this matter is appreciated.

While vacationing and shopping in your North Carolina store, I experienced a traumatic attack from another customer. The store associates ignored the incident, failing to assist me in contacting the authorities. I was pushed into a shelf, hit in the face, and left with bruises across my body. It took me over 20 minutes to find my car key. The employees overlooked the severity of the situation, proceeding to check out the couple involved without addressing the incident. The lack of assistance and acknowledgment from the store staff made me feel unsafe and unprotected while shopping. Despite filing a police report and having camera footage reviewed, I am still shaken by the experience. I hope that bringing attention to this incident will prompt improvement in customer safety protocols and employee training to prevent such incidents in the future.

I noticed that when I went to the register to check out, the pot pies were priced at $1 on the shelf but rang up as $1.25. The manager refused to honor the price on the tag, citing frequent price changes. I insist on being charged the price displayed on the shelf for items I select. I had the overpriced items removed from my purchase. Additionally, I purchased a $25 Net Ten phone card for [redacted] minutes but was mistakenly charged for a $35 unlimited card. Upon realizing this error after leaving, I also found out I was charged for a pot pie that I did not receive and was supposed to be credited for. When I returned to the store, I was wrongly accused of selecting the wrong card and only received a refund for the pot pie. I am quite upset about the inconvenience and poor treatment I experienced.

I visited Family Dollar to purchase my usual cigarettes, which I do every other day. The cashier mistakenly grabbed a different and more expensive pack. I requested an exchange for the correct pack and the price difference. When the cashier's superior intervened, she suggested I purchase another pack instead of exchanging it. I was still at the counter, and I found this handling of the situation unacceptable. In the end, I simply took the correct cigarettes and left the extra change, refusing to pay twice for my purchase. The supervisor's poor customer service skills left much to be desired.

I visited store [redacted] in Rosebud, Texas, hoping to find a specific product. Despite my efforts to locate it, I wasn't successful. The staff, especially up front, didn't assist me effectively when I inquired about the item's whereabouts. The lack of customer service and product availability has been a recurring issue at this store. The general sentiment in Rosebud is to prefer shopping at Dollar General or even Dollar Tree due to these challenges. While I understand the difficulties of finding dedicated employees, the unfriendliness and inadequate assistance at this Family Dollar location are disappointing. Consequently, I plan to shop elsewhere, primarily at Dollar General or in larger towns, to avoid further unpleasant experiences at the Family Dollar store in Rosebud, Texas.

I recently experienced an issue at the store where I was wrongly charged for items that were already paid for by another customer. This situation upset me as I am a regular customer. I also had a past experience of being double charged for an iPhone charger that I didn't receive. I am a mother of four with a disabled husband, living on a single income and a tight budget. I'm looking to address this problem with the store.

I am currently in Norwalk, Ohio on Whittlesey Avenue attempting to purchase a phone that is on sale with the $40 refill card, but it is not being discounted at the register. I presented the cashier with the advertisement, and she confirmed that I have the correct phone and refill card, but it is not reflecting the sale price. The cashier is unsure how to resolve this issue. I am far from home, and other Family Dollar locations have been sold out of the item. The cashier mentioned waiting for the manager, but I cannot afford to wait for an extended period as the ad clearly states the sale promotion. Please advise on the next steps to take or provide guidance to the staff.

I frequently shop at your store due to the prices and convenience. However, there is an issue with one of your employees who is extremely rude to customers. She often throws items to the side for customers to bag themselves and seems to selectively refuse to help certain individuals. It feels like she is on a power trip or in constant conflict. When I try to file a complaint, the number provided redirects me to a full voicemail. I spend a significant amount of money at your store for its convenience, but I do not appreciate being treated this way, especially given my unpredictable work hours in healthcare. The employee, who appears to be in her 40s, displays a consistently negative attitude, often sucking her teeth at customers. I have even directly addressed her behavior without any change. It's essential for all employees, regardless of personal circumstances, to maintain a level of professionalism and respect towards customers.

The local store location has inconsistent opening hours as the store manager's absence leads to arbitrary denials of service. On one occasion, my husband attempted shopping, but despite customers and staff present, the doors were unresponsive to his attempts to enter. After a frustrating experience, an employee eventually came to the door only to make offensive remarks. This incident is concerning as we are regular customers spending a significant amount weekly. Additionally, my own access to the store has been restricted without justification. The store's operations seem disorganized, with minimal activity when the manager is absent, causing inconvenience to patrons.
