I am a frequent shopper at store #[redacted] in Brandon, MS. On February 23, [redacted], I bought 2 - 10-foot phone charger cords, but unfortunately, within 3 days, one cord stopped working, and within 6 days, the other cord failed as well. When I tried to exchange them with my receipt, I was informed that I could only swap them for the same item. The experience has left me hesitant about your electronics. I have since purchased new cords from the Apple Store that are working perfectly. Despite attempts to contact the phone number (1-[redacted]) provided by the store, I have not received a response from the regional manager as promised. My contact number is [redacted], and my email is [redacted] I frequent your Brandon, MS location and would appreciate a store credit for other items. I am hoping for a swift resolution to this issue.

I am Regina Valiente and I visited Family Dollar Store #[redacted] at [redacted] Prospect in Kansas City, MO. I made a $[redacted].40 debit purchase and realized at home that I was missing two sets of Sleepwear and a Ladies Short Sleeve Top. When I went back to the store, neither the sales clerk nor the Assistant Manager could find my missing items, insisting they were in the bag. I suspect the items were given to the next customer in line. Upon returning home and finding nothing, I repurchased the same items. I left my contact number in case the missing items turned up, but the staff showed little concern. My receipt number is #[redacted]1 dated 4/13/21 at 17:51. On April 9th, I made a $[redacted] deposit into my Chime account at the Family Dollar on Main Street in Easley. The transaction has not yet posted to my account. Despite providing Chime with a copy of the receipt, they claim there is no record of the deposit and suggested I contact the store. The clerk at the store was unhelpful, and I am frustrated by the lack of resolution. I rely on my deposits to cover expenses and the delay has caused significant inconvenience. I recently experienced a troubling incident at the Oroville California Family Dollar store. As a homeless individual named Christopher J. R., I was hired by the manager to clean up the trash behind the store on a weekly basis. During my last visit, I found a considerable amount of trash and even encountered used hypodermic syringes. Unfortunately, I was accidentally pricked by a needle that broke off and contained blood and drugs. When I informed the manager, she brushed off the responsibility, claiming she did not leave them there. Despite seeking help at a clinic, I was turned away due to lack of insurance. I am concerned about my health as the needle broke off in me, and the manager made a derogatory remark about my situation to my girlfriend the next day. I am unsure about how to proceed with this troubling situation.

Yesterday, I attempted to use a coupon from the store's app while shopping. The coupon was valid until 5/29 for $5 off a purchase of $25.09 or more. When my total came to $40.46 at the checkout, I scanned the coupon on the app, but it didn't apply. The cashier called someone over to assist. After some investigation, they discovered that the coupon could only be used on 5/22. I was frustrated because I hadn't noticed this detail due to my difficulty seeing the phone screen clearly. As a loyal customer who walks an hour to Family Dollar every month, I was disappointed as I was only trying to save $5 on my purchase.

I returned items I didn't need, bringing my receipt and items back for a refund. The staff couldn't scan the barcode and wouldn't help me over the phone. They said the receipt code is what matters, not the barcode. I feel frustrated and just want my money refunded as stated on the receipt. I've spoken with two people already, but now I want to reach out to a manager for assistance.

I was very disappointed with the service my husband received today at 6:46 pm from a cashier whose name tag was turned around, not displaying his name. When my husband inquired about a promotion for 3 packs of 6-pack cokes for $8, the cashier, who was on the phone using earpods, responded rudely with "I don't know." The cashier then proceeded to ring up the 6-pack of bottle coke without providing any assistance and replied sarcastically when questioned about it. The cashier's behavior was disorganized and impolite, which is a recurring issue at this store. The store is often dirty, closes early, and employees are unhelpful, making the shopping experience unpleasant. Despite liking the store's variety and convenience, the rude employees make it difficult to continue shopping there regularly. I hope the store management can address these issues to improve the overall shopping experience for the neighborhood.

I had a negative experience at the Family Dollar located at [redacted] S. Main St. in High Point, NC [redacted]. Rodney accused me of stealing a shopping cart, which was completely uncalled for. I shop there regularly and have never stolen anything. I demand a public apology from Rodney for calling me a liar. His behavior was disrespectful and unprofessional. I will no longer support this Family Dollar store or any other due to this incident. Rodney's attitude and treatment toward me were unacceptable. I want him to face consequences for his actions. I recently bought a Verizon phone and airtime at Family Dollar. Unfortunately, the phone is not charging. When I reached out to Verizon, they instructed me to go back to Family Dollar for a replacement phone and assured me they would transfer the airtime. However, the manager at the Family Dollar location in Fall River, Massachusetts on North Main Street was extremely rude, claiming I shouldn't have opened the box. I explained that I needed to open the box to use the phone and was unaware it wouldn't charge. The manager advised me to go back to Verizon, but Verizon insists that Family Dollar is responsible for replacing the phone since it was purchased there. I'm hoping to resolve this issue as I spent $40 on airtime and $29.99 on the phone. The purchase was made quickly as I needed a phone urgently for my son. I would appreciate a prompt resolution. I visited the Family Dollar store #([redacted]) at [redacted] Roosevelt Blvd, Largo, FL, at 6:39 PM on June 10, [redacted]. I am a regular customer who frequents the store about ten times a month. While waiting in line, I noticed an employee informing the assistant manager, Melissa Bryant, that she was going outside to assist another customer at the ice box. When I tried to alert them of my presence at the counter, Melissa seemed annoyed by the bell ringing. Despite explaining that I was in line before the employee left, Melissa made me wait for her to return. Throughout the checkout process, there was a back-and-forth exchange. I mentioned filing a complaint about the poor customer service, and Melissa nonchalantly provided her information on a receipt. I observed her rudely handling my items and believe the incident should be reviewed, as it was unprofessional. As I left, Melissa appeared to be informing her district manager about the situation, which I would like to avoid discussing further.

I visited the Family Dollar in Liberty, Mississippi on Saturday, 6/12/[redacted], to buy one item. While waiting in line, a customer ahead of me requested 5 Birthday balloons, causing a slight delay. As the cashier went to fetch the balloons, I realized I also wanted a Birthday balloon but opted to wait my turn. When I reached the cashier with my item, I briefly stepped away to grab a balloon, assuming it would not be a problem. However, upon my return, the cashier began checking out the person behind me as if I had not been in line, leading to a misunderstanding. Though I would have liked to purchase the balloon, I decided to leave without it to avoid further inconvenience to other customers in line.

I purchased two sets of men's v-neck t-shirts and found that the security devices had damaged the shirts inside the packaging. When I tried to return them the following day with the receipt, the staff informed me of a half-price sale and said I could only receive half off if I returned them. I requested a manager to override this and avoid me waiting a week to return unusable items, but was told to return the following Sunday.
