I just now seen that I have a voicemail from you guys regarding the degrading treatment as a customer from the store employee at store *** I would just like to get this resolved as soon as possible so I can feel safe and comfortable going to the store again as that is my only option where I live there are no other stores there's no Dollar tree there's no dollar general. I live with my grandmother and she has had to walk me to the store which is a shame I'm ** years old but she sees the way that they treat me and she's afraid that they will falsely accuse me of something because of the degrading behavior the supervisor promotes to the other employees as well directed towards me. I have never and would never stolen anything from anywhere so I'm not sure what her personal hatred for me is I am a calm person I am a nice person I try to do my best to be a good person and I just don't know why I'm being treated like I'm nothing more than I'm a criminal when I walk into the store. I'm being followed humiliated in front of other customers asked to keep my regular size purse behind the counter with an employee period when she asked me that I looked around and seen ** other women with their purses. it was the most embarrassing thing I've ever experienced in any sort of store. I would just like to resolve this issue as soon as possible I would like to go to the store today but I get scared to go there so I have to wait for my grandmother to get time herself which is absolutely crazy. This is not normal it's not normal to feel like I'm going to be singled out and humiliated or worse just going to buy things from my house. Since this is the only store near me a lot of times I have to buy food from here as well I don't want to be bullied just trying to maintain my home in my life and purchase my necessities from the store. The supervisor has recruited other employees over the past year. There are only two employees at Family Dollar bad treat me with respect and dignity and it is an older Caucasian woman closer to my grandma's age and a young Caucasian man around my age I would suspect. The manager that is encouraging this behavior is a middle-aged white woman she is the supervisor of the store and the employees that have been hired and fired at that store our influenced by her to treat me as degrading as she does. The two employees mentioned above are the only employees that don't humiliate me during my experience. I have brought it up more than once with other employees because if there is something I did to her or something that I am not aware of I would just like to know because I don't want to be treated as less than a human when I come in there. The employees I have talked to are too scared to talk about her and **% of the employees that have come in and out of there over the past few years has employees have adapted to treating me the same way to please her with the exception of two employees in which I deeply respect and appreciate.
