The issue in GetHuman-tbonchi's own words
I visited the Family Dollar Store in Monaca Pennsylvania on Sunday, December *, ****. I went there to purchase * Cell batteries. When looking at the batteries I noticed a sign for one of the brands indicating they were on sale Buy one get one **% off so I picked up * packages for purchase. I went to the register in which there was no sales associate. I waited there by myself looking around but did not see anyone. While waiting a number of other customers began standing in line, at that point a voiced "where is that girl" I then heard a reply - I AM OVER HERE, I SAID I WOULD BE THERE IN A MINUTE.*She then came to the check out counter and rang up my batteries - I noticed that the price was not reflecting the Buy one get one *** off and questioned the sales clerk she sighed then went over to check the price. She then says to me "WELL THE PROBLEM IS THAT YOU GOT THE WRONG BATTERIES - THE ONES YOU GOT ARE NOT ON SALE" I then said no, I am pretty sure I got the ones on sale. She then came over to the counter and checked my bag and checked to see that the batteries were the ones on sale. At that point she goes and pulls the sign off and says "THIS IS THE PROBLEM, THE BATTERIES ARE NOT ON SALE ANYMORE AND THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT IT - INDICATING THAT THE SIGN HAD DATES FOR THE PAST WEEK. *I usually do not complain but that was the rudest that I have been treated by any sales clerk. On my way out the door I stopped to see what exactly she was doing when we could not find her and I believe she was on the computer by the door which I believe was for people to enter a application. Not sure.
