I went into store ******, which is **** Davie blvd, Ft. Lauderdale, FL *****. I bought a *** oz Xtra laundry detergent which has a coupon for $*.** off on the container. I went to the register, the male cashier tried to ring up the coupon and couldnt do it. I told him after he tried * times to ask a manager if he could help. He said that he was the manager and didnt know how to take the $*.** off because he scanned it and nothing happened. He did not have a name tag and refused to do anything further about it. The line was now * customers long and they all began yelling to hurry up. He refused to find a way to discount the dollar. Also, while he was checking customers out, he had his cell phone on the counter and was speaking to someone in Creole. Maybe if he paid attention to what he was doing he would find a way to discount the $*.** on the item. He just wanted to get back to his conversation. He just began working there, so I doubt very much that he is the manager, I have been shopping in this store for **yrs now. Today I think was my last day shopping at any Family Dollar Stores. No one ever knows what they are doing and the * man that was working on the floor, didnt even speak English when I asked him if they sold Graduation cups. He looked completely dumbfounded and walked away. Never again. I want what the coupon said, $*.** discount. It is the principal of the thing. Your employees should speak English and be talking on the phone, let alone, in another language. Not professional at all.
