On May 24, [redacted], my personal Facebook account "Corinne Heggie" was hacked. I received an email at 5 am GMT stating that it had been accessed by someone in America while I am in the UK. By 5:15 am GMT, the hacker changed the email address, password, and telephone number, and activated two-step verification. Despite my attempts, I couldn't stop the hacker in time as I was not awake when the first email arrived. Despite changing the password, I am locked out due to the two-step verification, which I did not set up. I have tried to regain access by submitting my ID to Facebook but have not received a response. I received emails about adverts running on a business account linked to my profile, which I never authorized. I am seeking assistance to regain control of my personal account and shut down any unauthorized business accounts.

I had a problem with Facebook from the UK. I contacted them on Twitter, but they ignored me as usual. I received a 30-day ban for sharing a picture of a shark instead of posting it. Feeling devastated as a disabled man, I find Facebook's behavior appalling. I expressed suicidal thoughts and depression due to PTSD, but the oversight board didn't select my case. It seems Facebook prioritizes money over user well-being. I plan to petition the British government for Facebook regulation and a fair appeals process. The lack of empathy from Facebook is disturbing, and I believe they are targeting me unfairly. The platform needs to treat all users equally and fairly. I have been unable to access my Facebook account for the past few days due to a login approval issue. I was logged out of my Facebook account on the iPhone app and prompted to reset my password. On June 15th, my cell phone's SIM card was erased, essentially resetting it. After reinstalling apps, when I tried to access Facebook, I was notified that my data did not meet standards and was flagged as questionable. Facebook requested a facial photo for review, mentioning it could take up to 14 days. Today, upon trying to log in again, I discovered my account was disconnected or disabled. I go by Janie C. I now work at Visiting Angels, a change I had already updated on Facebook before the incident with my phone last Tuesday evening.

It appears that my Facebook account was hacked. I received messages through Messenger from friends who suspected the messages were not from me on June 12, [redacted]. Yesterday morning, someone hacked into my email and changed both the email address and password, locking me out of my account. Facebook alerted me to an unrecognized device signing in and a password change. Despite trying to follow the steps provided to secure my account, I couldn't request a password change as the link would have gone to the hacker's email. I received four emails from Facebook to verify my account with links that turned out to be invalid or expired. It seems the only ways to regain access are by clicking the link they send or resetting the password, neither of which I can do now.
