I was hacked in October last year, resulting in the theft of a significant amount of money from my bank account and the unauthorized access to my Facebook account from locations far away. Despite changing my password multiple times, I continue to struggle to secure my account. I have updated my phone number and rely on receiving security codes via email. I have contacted Facebook numerous times to no avail. This situation has left me isolated and distressed. I am reaching out for assistance as I feel utterly alone. The cyber attackers not only took my savings but also severed my ties to friends and family. I am in a state of despair and desperation. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for being my last hope in resolving this never-ending nightmare. Sincerely, Mandy W.

My Facebook account, Michael Bronner [redacted], was stolen. They changed the phone number linked to it, although I don't remember having a phone number on the account. An individual is now using it for false advertising, pretending to be me and asking my friends to send money to an investment firm belonging to Tracy Isabel Jones. She is using the phone number [redacted]5 on WhatsApp. She also has another account, M Bronner.[redacted], which she stole from me. The current email she is using is M Bronner [redacted] I would like to regain access to my original account and ensure she cannot use it again. If needed, contact me at [redacted] or try reaching me through M Bronner [redacted], the email she currently controls.

I have discovered that my email associated with my Facebook account has been changed without my permission. I noticed this change when viewing my account through a friend’s profile. It seems that my account has been compromised through a sign-in from California, as indicated in an email sent to me on Thursday, 3/18/[redacted]. The new contact email linked to my account is "[redacted]," a completely unfamiliar address to me. Despite my efforts to follow the recommended steps in the Facebook "Help" section, I have been unsuccessful in regaining control of my account. Strangely, I am not receiving SMS messages on my phone, hindering my attempts to reset my password or add a new email. My desperation to recover my account stems from the valuable years-worth of photos and the fear of identity theft associated with this unauthorized access. Any assistance in resolving this matter promptly would be greatly appreciated. Contact me at [redacted] or [redacted] if further information is required. Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter. Dawn Meyer

My account has been compromised. I received an email to my email address on Thursday, March 18, [redacted], informing me that someone from California had accessed my Facebook account. It seems they changed my contact email to "[redacted]". I have been attempting to follow the guidance in Facebook's help section for over 48 hours but have been unable to receive SMS messages on my phone. Although my phone number pulls up my account, I cannot change my password or add a different email address. The unauthorized email is now associated with my account. I urgently need to regain access as my identity has been stolen, and there are important photos on my Facebook. These actions were taken without my knowledge, and I am worried about the unauthorized activity under my name. Please assist me.

Having trouble accessing my main Instagram account. Recently, both of my accounts were experiencing issues with loading content. I tried troubleshooting by deleting and reinstalling the app. Subsequently, I logged out of my main account. However, upon attempting to log back in, Instagram prompted me to enter a security code sent to my phone number, even though two-factor authentication wasn't enabled. I didn't receive any codes via phone or email. Despite my Facebook being linked, using it to log in was unsuccessful. Upon contacting Facebook support, they requested a photo of myself with a handwritten code, along with my details to verify my identity. I submitted the information as requested but haven't received any follow-up. It's frustrating and confusing not being able to regain access to my main account.

I am Zaidan Z., the owner of Z Garage Page in Malaysia. Recently, I encountered an issue while trying to set up page roles. My ads account got disabled as it turned out that the Z Garage Page is not linked to my personal account, even though I was set as the manager. After removing myself as the manager, I lost access to the account completely as I had assumed it was using my personal account login. I created the fan page using my personal account and now I am unable to access it at all. This is concerning as I create video content weekly. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello, I recently switched from my old smartphone, where I was logged in, to a new one where I am not logged in. After resetting my old device, I tried to log into the new one but couldn't due to 2-factor authentication. I can't access my account now and need help retrieving it as I have important information stored there. I am willing to provide any necessary documents for authentication purposes. Your prompt assistance in resolving this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Alex S.

I had a major issue with a scammer on webcam while I was showering. On his Facebook account, he posted a photo of a woman, but it was actually a man behind the screen. He filmed me showering and selected my friends on my Facebook account. If I don't pay [redacted] euros, he will publish it. He ended up publishing it anyway. We reported to Facebook, and they deactivated his account, but the issue remains on his messenger account. It's on his messenger that he created the group and posted up to 31 videos of my nudity. His name on messenger is Doris Tonny; he is the administrator and a Facebook user. Please help me resolve this, delete the posts, and remove the group. I can send you identification through my email address.

Hello! I believe my Facebook account has been compromised. When I try to log in, it indicates that the email associated with my account is no longer linked to any Facebook accounts. Upon checking with a friend's phone, I discovered that my email had been changed to a different address. The current email linked to my account, which is needed to reset my password, is unfamiliar to me, and I do not have access to it. I am at a loss of what to do and have been unable to find any solutions online. This situation is causing me stress as I have important photos and use Facebook extensively for work. I am hopeful that you can assist me in resolving this issue. Thank you for your help!

My account has been compromised, and I no longer have access to it. The hacker changed the recovery email and password, preventing me from following the automated recovery steps. I am unable to alert most of my Facebook friends about this issue as the hacker may try to scam them into sending money. The hacker's email is "[redacted]" and my associated phone number has been changed to one ending in "79". My original contact information was [redacted] with the phone number [redacted] for recovery. I believe confirmation should be required before changing login information. Please help me regain control of my account and stop this imposter from using it. Thank you, Hollis W.

My Facebook account got hacked, and the hacker changed my email, password, and phone number. It has been almost two months dealing with this issue. Around a week after the hacking incident, I managed to restore my email and password, but I couldn’t update my phone number, causing a problem with the Two-Factor Authentication process. Without my phone number, I couldn't receive the necessary 6-digit code to access my account fully. For a month now, I've been unsuccessfully trying to reach out to Facebook's support team for help. The Help Center and Help Community forums were not useful, with some individuals attempting to deceive with dubious contact information. I even submitted my ID with no response from Facebook. After a month of struggles, my account was hacked once again without any email notifications. I am now completely locked out of my account. I hope resolving this won't cost any money; Facebook should provide support for free.

Lately, I have encountered three different suspicious accounts attempting to add me. Two of these accounts have the exact same name and details but different profile pictures. The third account also seems fake as it features a photo of a man present in one of the other accounts but under a different name. All three claim to be American, yet their friends on Facebook are from Africa. Furthermore, they all use broken English, mention being widowed, and eventually steer conversations towards asking for money, especially if they claim to be on a peacekeeping mission. This pattern also occurred on Instagram, where one person even threatened harm if money wasn't sent. I have attempted to report these accounts, but sadly, it seems these actions do not violate community standards. I wish more could be done to prevent these scams and protect others online.

To reactivate my deactivated Facebook account. My name is Dinu Weerasooriya, and my account was deactivated on 24-03-[redacted]. You can identify me by my email at [redacted] and phone number +[redacted]0. I am from Sri Lanka, and my ID card number is [redacted]68V. It's unfortunate that my account, which I have used for 10 years, was deactivated without any warning. I used this account to help distribute food and donations to those affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. I feel upset that videos I posted, including those showing life-saving actions, were considered a violation of Facebook's rules. I kindly request that my account be reinstated as soon as possible. I have not received any response yet, and I have trusted Facebook with my memories and important photos for the past decade. Please do the right thing and show me the respect and trust I deserve.

I haven't accessed my Facebook account in about a decade, and when I attempted to log in, I received a message stating my account had been permanently disabled. Despite my efforts to address this issue, I have not been successful in resolving it. I even tried creating a new account, only to encounter the same disabled status. I attempted to contact Facebook via phone, but unfortunately, they do not offer phone support. I urgently need to reconnect with my family, and Facebook is my main means of doing so. I would greatly appreciate any assistance you can provide in rectifying this matter. Thank you.

My personal account belonging to Stephen Padovano was suspended without explanation. I suspect it may be related to an extortion incident. I have included two different numbers in my Facebook address book, one labeled as "blackmail" and the other as "extortion #2." These individuals threatened to blackmail me with photos unless I paid them. The FBI advised me to ignore them, as they often disappear. Despite not hearing from them again, I can't help but wonder if they are involved in my account suspension, as I have not engaged in any inappropriate behavior. Could you please clarify why my account has been completely disabled? I am unable to reach out through other means due to the block on my account. Thank you. - Steve Padovano

I recently received another 30-day suspension on your platform. Despite reaching out to the contact number I found, no one seems to be available to assist, which is frustrating. I have reported multiple fake accounts to the platform, with one in particular being repeatedly reported, only to be told that it does not violate community standards. It is disheartening to see fake accounts potentially stealing money from users unchecked. It feels like there is a double standard in place. I feel unfairly targeted and censored, simply because of my conservative views. The suggestion to visit the help center has not been helpful, as essential questions seem to go unanswered. I will be documenting this and look forward to your reply.

Good afternoon, I need help with logging into my Facebook accounts. I lost access to my previous account named Clare S. Bradley and am having trouble accessing my current account. Last week, I lost my Sony Xperia phone with a Vodafone SIM card ([redacted]0). I have since switched to a new Samsung phone from Tesco Mobile with the same number. Despite trying to log in with my email, password, or phone number, I haven't received any login codes via text. I would appreciate assistance to regain access to both accounts, although I don't recall the old account's password or associated phone number. The current account is under the name Clare Bradley with the email [redacted] Thank you for your help.

I'm seeking assistance for my business and me. Despite multiple attempts, I have been unable to reach Facebook for support. It seems both my personal and business Facebook accounts may have been compromised. This morning on 23rd March, I found myself locked out of Facebook. The phone number I had registered for security purposes is not recognized for account recovery, and my usual email is no longer accessible, with only an obsolete email provided as an option. Following an email received on 18th March regarding being removed from my Facebook business page "Anna Doula Support," I am unable to regain access to it. I am the sole admin of the page and am unsure how to contact my Business Manager admin. In response to a potential hack, on 18th March, I changed my Facebook password, checked my security settings, and reviewed my personal profile. I did not remove myself; I merely updated my name to Anna Kutock from Anna Newman Kutock. This issue is severely impacting my business, and I kindly request assistance in retrieving access to both my personal and business pages. Thank you for your help. -Sincerely, Anna Email received on 18 Mar [redacted] at 5:07 PM from Facebook <[redacted]>: You have been removed from Anna Newman Kutock by Anna Kutock on Facebook Business Manager. Consequently, you will no longer have access to any ad accounts or Pages associated with the business. Should you believe this action was not intentional, please contact your Business Manager admin.
