I have not intentionally requested my friends to "friend me," yet they keep telling me about it, which is concerning. Recently, I have only been seeing posts from my wife on my Facebook page, whereas I used to receive numerous posts daily from friends, which have now completely stopped. Upon searching for my name, I discovered three Facebook accounts that appear to belong to me. These accounts seem legitimate and have all my posted information. Could you please advise me on how to permanently close these accounts and begin afresh? Will this action prevent the hacker from accessing my accounts? I would appreciate any suggestions on how to resolve this issue. Thank you, T. Miller

I was unexpectedly disabled from Facebook without any violation. Despite submitting my government-issued ID to confirm my identity, my account remains disabled, and I am unsure of the reason. I have always followed Facebook's guidelines and rules. However, due to my advocacy work, I have experienced backlash from individuals who disagree with me. I suspect that they may have reported my account in an attempt to silence my voice, which I believe infringes on freedom of speech. I kindly request the reactivation of my genuine Facebook account. My Facebook account has been disabled after being reported as hacked. I have submitted the requested identification to verify my name, but now I am unable to access my account. Despite not using a false name, I am facing challenges reopening it. Facebook's process seems counterintuitive if it prevents me from creating a new account with a different name due to the same identification request. Unfortunately, my account was disabled on Nov 30 after more than 10 years, and I have lost all my memories and history. I have uploaded my UAE driving license, and I currently reside in Los Angeles, California. I also sent a copy of my Egyptian passport and my work authorization card, which is the only US government identification I have at the moment. I have been receiving irrelevant ads targeted at older age groups on Facebook. Despite having an account for 12 years and trying to adjust my birth year to avoid these ads, I encountered an issue. In an attempt to stop receiving ads for mature audiences, I entered my birth year as [redacted], making me appear as a 3-month-old. Consequently, my account got locked. I am unwilling to provide a photo ID for verification as I believe Facebook can verify my age through my account history. I simply want my account unlocked as I am in my 30s, not a newborn.

Hello, I have recently observed that my Facebook advertising account has been disabled. Despite appealing and receiving initial assurance that it would be reactivated, my account remains inaccessible. Upon contacting support for further clarification, I was informed about a violation of advertising policies, which I believe to be incorrect. I misplaced my phone and purchased a new one. When I attempted to log into my Facebook account associated with my mobile number (+[redacted]2), I realized I couldn't remember my password. Despite my efforts to reset it using the mentioned phone number, I have not been receiving any reset codes. Consequently, I am unable to regain access to my account on my new device.

I use the Facebook mobile app on my phone, which I have had for 4 years. One day, Facebook randomly prompted me to enter my password when logging in. Since I've had the account for around 10 years, I couldn't recall the password and had to reset it. Facebook sent me a password reset code via text, and I successfully changed my password. However, the next time I tried to log in, it asked for a login code that was supposedly sent to me via text. Despite trying multiple times over the past couple of weeks, I never received a text with the code. Moreover, I no longer have access to the email account linked to my Facebook, an old Hotmail account I've been trying to recover for years. This situation is incredibly frustrating, and I am hesitant to create a new Facebook profile as all my old memories and connections are in my current account. I would greatly appreciate any help in regaining access to my account. Thank you.

I'm facing a serious issue with my Facebook account being compromised, affecting my accounts on Instagram, Poshmark, Amazon, and email. This has disrupted my business activities that rely on Facebook. Despite sending my identification documents, the problem remains unresolved. The emails alerting me of password change attempts have ceased. Contacting Facebook for help has been challenging. I'm at a loss on how to proceed. Yesterday evening in the UK, I received a notification that a game had accessed my Facebook account. Since my son was playing the game on the iPad at home and I prefer he stays off social media, I decided to remove my iPad from the approved devices list. I cleared the list of all devices to start fresh and also removed devices that didn't require approval to log in. These actions didn't affect my access on the PC I was using. When I tried to update my password, I encountered issues. Updating it on my PC resulted in an error message, and on my Android phone, it said there was a problem changing the password. Despite trying various recovery methods like email codes and identifying friends' photos, I couldn't progress as I didn't receive the necessary emails or codes. This morning, I managed to reset the password, but upon entering it, I encountered a blank screen. Despite multiple attempts to secure my account, I keep facing errors and invalid links, leaving me locked out of Facebook with concerns about my unattended business page.

I've been using Facebook up until the first part of December. However, I am now unable to access my account as I was informed that it was disabled back in October [redacted]. I'm puzzled as to why I was able to continue using it after that. Despite trying various passwords and setting up a new account, I haven't been successful in regaining access. A few weeks back, I encountered a "session expired" message on Facebook. Initially, I didn't recognize it was Facebook prompting me. It requested identification verification, including capturing an image, which I struggled to complete. Since then, I have been unable to log back in. Unfortunately, I cannot recall my old Facebook password, and the associated email's password eludes me as well. Moreover, we no longer have access to that email account. Creating a new account is not something I wish to do. Assistance would be greatly appreciated.

My account has been disabled despite meeting all requirements. This issue has occurred twice in the last 4 days. I am unsure if my account has been compromised. Despite changing my password twice in the past week, my account remains disabled. The message I receive upon logging in states that my account information has been received, but due to reduced staff availability during the COVID-19 pandemic, there may be delays in reviewing it. I am concerned that if not resolved within 30 days, my account will be permanently deleted. I request assistance in verifying the ID picture I uploaded to regain access to my account.

I seem to be experiencing issues with my Facebook Messenger. All my contacts have disappeared, and I am getting notifications from unfamiliar people with images of individuals who are not on my friends' list. I have not received any emails since Friday, December 4. This problem is occurring on my iPad Air, iPhone 6s, and HP laptop. I am having trouble resetting my password. The procedure to reset it seems unnecessarily complex and frustrating. I find it illogical that I'm required to know my previous password. If I remembered it, I wouldn't need to change it. The method of sending a text for verification is not helpful as I don't receive the texts. The option to remove the phone number requires knowing the password, which defeats the purpose. I have no trouble with apps like Snapchat, Instagram, and Twitter, so I don't understand why Facebook is so challenging. Isn't Facebook the owner of Instagram? If so, why is the password reset process so much more difficult for Facebook?

My account was suspended, but when I reported someone for the same thing, it was not against the rules. It seems like there is a disparity in how these situations are handled. I have reported offensive language, and it was deemed acceptable, which feels like discrimination against black users. I feel unfairly treated and will seek advice from legal counsel to address this issue of unequal treatment based on race.
