My Facebook account, Ikenna Dominic Udeh, was hacked on November 10th at 15:07 West African Time with the code [redacted]. I received a call on my phone at that time from a group I am part of stating they were having a meeting. They said they would send me a code to join. I innocently shared the code back with them, assuming it was for the meeting. Later, realizing they were hackers, I tried to log into my account, but they had already changed my password and taken control. The hackers have since blocked my wife and are using my account to message my friends and family, urging them to invest in a fraudulent venture called SMART TRADE INVESTMENT. They have even posted a fake credit alert screenshot featuring my picture.

My Facebook account was compromised, and the hackers changed the name and password. They took advantage of the fact that my account was linked to an email with an unregistered domain, which they then registered using a domain registration service called NameCheap. While I've been able to regain access to the account and update the email, I'm unable to proceed because they removed my mobile number, preventing me from receiving the 2-factor authentication code. Despite submitting my details to Facebook multiple times, I only receive automated responses, leaving me frustrated with the lack of personal assistance.
