I am encountering an issue accessing my Facebook account due to complications with the Facebook Authenticator I activated a month ago. Despite deleting the program from my phone and logging out of Facebook on July 28, I am now unable to log back in. Creating a new account is not an option as it would lead to losing crucial work-related materials, groups, pages, important correspondence, friends, and saved videos. I included my Facebook URL [redacted] for reference. I reached out to Facebook support a month ago providing my ID and detailed information about my account issue but have not received a response yet. My Facebook account is vital to me, and I am desperate to regain access, considering the invaluable groups, work pages, and friends associated with it. I am ready to provide any additional information to verify my ownership of the account. Your assistance in helping me regain access to my account would be greatly appreciated.

I am having trouble logging in because they are trying to verify my identity through a text message to my landline. I cannot contact the helpdesk, and being disabled, I rely on Facebook to communicate with my family in case of an emergency. I have used this service for a long time and never encountered this issue before. I urgently need access to my account as all my important information and pictures are stored there. It would be more helpful if they could call my landline with a verification code instead of sending a text message.

I recently responded to a post on Justin Sudler's Facebook page by messaging "CASH." Unfortunately, I fell for a scam where I was asked to send $[redacted].00 to receive money back. Subsequently, I was tricked into providing my Cash App password in exchange for a refund. This resulted in being locked out of my account after changing the security settings as instructed. I am not concerned about the money I lost, but I urgently need access to my account as it holds valuable family photos. The scammer changed the associated email from [redacted] to [redacted] I have been attempting to recover my account to no avail. Any assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Recently, my husband was hacked, and his friends disappeared from his friend list on Facebook. He provided me with a phone number (1-[redacted]) that he was given during the hacking incident. When I called the number, I realized it was a scam. I ended up sharing personal information with the scammer, including our ages, zip code, cell phone numbers, and email addresses. The scammer instructed me to turn off my PC and go to a nearby store to buy Google Play cards worth $[redacted]-$1,[redacted]. Feeling uneasy, I disconnected the call. I now understand the mistake I made but initially thought I was talking to Facebook Customer Service. I'm worried about our safety. Should we close our Facebook accounts temporarily or change our passwords?

I am attempting to update my company's page name following a recent name change on August 5th. Despite submitting the request multiple times, I receive a message saying the approval process could take up to 3 days, but after waiting, there is no progress. I have resubmitted the request, but almost a month later, I am still unable to secure a name change approval. Our new name has been published in various editions and our domain names have been updated, making this delay frustrating.

My Facebook account, Yanessa Paige, got hacked by a buy and sell group admin/moderator who pretended to be a middleman for transactions along with other mods. I granted him access, thinking he was a legitimate middleman, but was shocked to find myself logged out with a "session expired" message. He changed the password, unlinked my email and phone number from the account. Despite reporting to Facebook, I haven't received any response. The hacker is now using my account to scam others, causing me worry. While I don't want to recover the account, I urgently want it shut down as he invades my privacy and scams unsuspecting individuals.

On August 25, my account was compromised by an individual using the email [redacted] They gained access to my login details and found a copy of my ID in a conversation with my partner. Despite multiple attempts to recover the account by providing my information, the hacker also attempted to recover it simultaneously, resulting in unsuccessful recovery attempts. Following this, I created a new account with the name Keayla Haymes-Baker and provided a photo of my current military ID which shows my hyphenated name. The unauthorized user likely used a photo displaying only my maiden name (Baker). On the day of the breach, they added numerous people, while blocking individuals such as Tiffany West and Brittany West who tried to alert others about the hack. My previous email ([redacted]) and phone number ([redacted]) were removed from the account. This matter led to a conversation with an individual named Omar King. As the incident occurred nearly a week ago, my attempt to create a new account with a different email was rejected, resulting in a ban on my name and number from Facebook, prohibiting me from having an account in the future. This has impacted my ability to communicate with my family, particularly as a military member where Facebook was a primary communication channel.

Hello, I need assistance as I encountered an issue on Facebook. I follow the OurComps business page, and recently engaged in an argument with two trolls who made defamatory comments about OurComps. The argument escalated with insults exchanged, resulting in a 24-hour ban for me, which I accept. However, a previously made comment from that argument has been reported, leading to a 7-day ban (with a possible 30-day ban). I find this unreasonable as I was defending a legitimate business and faced hostility in return. I believe it unjust that the complaints are being held against me separately. I tried to create a Facebook ad promoting saving money, but it was rejected for not complying with their guidelines on MLM and get-rich-quick schemes. Hello, I work at Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and we are currently locked out of our school's Facebook account. We had been successfully posting on the account until August 7th, [redacted]. However, now when we attempt to log in, it prompts us for identity verification by requesting either a birthdate or a photo ID. Unfortunately, we do not have the exact birthdate as the account was created many years ago. My supervisor and I submitted our IDs, but Facebook informed us that they were not accepted. I am seeking assistance as several of my online accounts, such as Facebook, Instagram, Google, and email, have been compromised. Intruders are controlling my calls, texts, and emails. They have utilized fake accounts to make donations to fraudulent charities, drained my bank accounts, and used my identity for credit purposes. I believe that my phone and devices are being monitored, and I suspect that I have a Trojan horse. I have evidence to support these claims. I have been struggling to remove my Visa/debit card from my account, resulting in $70 in charges since 05/31/[redacted]. Despite attempts, I have been unable to unlink the card due to it being connected to a subscription. I need the subscription canceled, and the $70 refunded to my Visa/debit card. I have repeatedly tried in the past to remove my payment method, but each time I received a message stating it was tied to a subscription. This is my first opportunity to address this problem with someone.

I recently received an email from Facebook informing me of a sign-in to my account, prompting me to change my password. After doing so, I modified my birth year to [redacted], causing my account to be locked. I managed to address this issue and revert my birth year back. Despite submitting valid identification multiple times, including my driver’s license and passport, I continue to receive emails requesting a valid ID before assistance can be provided. Moreover, my account includes both my maiden and married names, and I successfully removed my maiden name. Even after resubmitting my IDs, including a punctured driver’s license and a paper copy with my photo, I still face the obstacle of needing a valid ID. Last night, I re-submitted my passport, yet I have not received confirmation that a valid ID is required. Uncertainty surrounds whether my account is under review. I am grieving the loss of my best friend and reached out to this person for a reading. I paid him $40 upfront, with a promise of $40 more later, but he never completed the reading. When I asked for at least a partial reading, things turned sour. He requested my Facebook password to refund me, which I declined, and he became hostile and refused to return my money. I have proof of payment and our conversations, showing his unprofessional behavior. He seems to be a scammer under the guise of offering readings. Unexpectedly, my Facebook account was compromised to the point where it received the most severe ban, making it seemingly irrecoverable. Being blocked from the usual channels for assistance left me feeling hopeless. If only I had a connection to an influential person at Facebook who could review my case, there might have been a chance. However, without that lifeline, my efforts proved futile, forcing me to start anew with a different account. Countless online friendships and conversations were lost in the process. This incident was part of a sophisticated hacking scheme that also targeted my government tax service account, resulting in the theft of my tax refund. Thankfully, I detected this promptly and managed to reclaim the funds. The timing of these events points to it being orchestrated by the same hackers, marking my first encounter with such malicious activities.

My mother, Rita P., recently got a new phone and encountered login issues accessing her original FB account. Due to a mishap, she unintentionally created a new FB account. With her old phone broken and her inability to recall the password, she wants to regain access to her actual FB account. My brother assisted in accessing her original account, but he is currently unavailable. Rita bought a new phone, but she is unable to log in to her old account without the password. She can only access the accidental account via her phone number. Rita is eager to regain access to her rightful FB account. Is there any way she can verify her identity by emailing a photo of herself holding her state ID to enable a password reset and regain access to her FB account?
