In response, Cait mentioned that she is not responsible for preventing the dissemination of phone numbers. However, it was clarified that the issue pertains to safeguarding privacy and not assigning blame. If no resolution is reached, the group may need to be reported to Facebook for failing to protect the privacy of its members, particularly the elderly lady affected. I have had my Facebook account for many years without any issues. Recently, due to safety concerns, I attempted to remove some personal information and accidentally changed my birth year, resulting in my account being locked. Despite numerous attempts to verify my identity, submitting ID copies, and even creating a new account to regain lost connections, I am still locked out. I urgently need access to communicate with my work group, friends, and maintain important contacts. My Instagram account linked to this Facebook was also shut down, impacting my ability to stay connected. The new Facebook account I created for essential connections was shut down shortly after creation, compounding my distress. I was on Facebook Messenger and saw a message with an explicit photo from someone named Stephanie Thompson in a group chat, which was inappropriate for a public platform like Facebook. It's crucial to have better controls to block such content or users who are not on my approved list. We need to ensure that children and all users are safe from such inappropriate material on social media. We should have an easy-to-access button to block users not on our approved list to prevent these situations. It's important to maintain family-friendly values on such platforms, as the president is taking steps with other apps like TikTok. Let's all promote a safer and more respectful online environment for everyone.

On June 14, I came across a Facebook ad from a company named Shiness offering comforter sets. Placing an order in USD with an American Postal Service link, I was under the impression the company was American. Shortly after, on June 15, I received an email confirming shipment from China along with a tracking number. The payment went through PayPal. Despite multiple attempts to track the package, I only received sunglasses. Reaching out to the company multiple times regarding the missing comforter set yielded no results, except for vague instructions on returning items at my expense without specifying what to return. This experience has made me wary of Facebook ads. Do you vet companies before allowing them to advertise on your platform, ensuring their legitimacy? - June G.

My account has been compromised by a scammer who is using my Facebook to solicit money through cash app. They have changed my email and password, leaving me unable to access my account where I have precious messages from my late mother and sister. I am willing to provide any necessary identification to prove my identity. I already submitted my ID once, but it seems the person on my account got the issue dismissed. Please assist me in regaining access to my account and securing it from further harm.

Five weeks ago, my account got disabled, and I was asked to upload my identification, which I did. I have been waiting for a notification since, but haven't received any. I'm a family therapist, and I don't engage in inappropriate conversations or activities on the platform. I mainly use my account to keep in touch with friends and family. I had ads posted for a dog bath service and my boat, which I paid Facebook to boost for more visibility. On the day they disabled my account, they withdrew money from my PayPal account for a renewal and disabled my ads, accounts, and messenger. The interested parties in the items I posted about are now gone, leaving me at a loss. I am extremely frustrated with Facebook's lack of communication regarding the reason for suspending my account. Dear Sir/Madam, I would like to address an issue that occurred with my Facebook Page. On the 31st of last month, I successfully created a Page using [redacted] I ran ads on the Page for ten days without any problems. However, on the 11th of this month, while attempting to access the Page, I was prompted to enter a login code sent to my email and upload a photo of myself. The following day, on the 12th, my account was under review, and by the 13th, I received a notification that my account had been banned for allegedly violating Facebook's rules. Unfortunately, I was not given any specific information regarding the violation. I previously had another inactive business Page managed by a company, which I wanted to delete through Facebook's help center before creating the new Page mentioned above. However, instead of assisting with deleting the old Page, the new Page was banned without any clarification or guidance on what steps to take. As a loyal Facebook customer with other active accounts, I kindly request assistance in restoring my banned Page so I can continue operating my business. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

A few weeks ago, my account was disabled, and I was requested to upload my identification, which I promptly did. However, I am still waiting for any notification regarding the status. I am a family therapist in my forties and my online activities are solely for connecting with friends and family. I solely posted ads for pet grooming and selling my boat. The suspension not only deactivated my ads but also my accounts and messenger, resulting in losing potential buyers. The lack of communication from Facebook regarding the reasons for the suspension has been extremely frustrating. There is a group on Facebook called Lady K's Store where unauthorized content is being posted in a foreign language, causing me to be unable to access my account. I would appreciate it if Facebook could address this issue promptly, even if it means deleting the Lady K's Store. I need assistance in resolving this matter as it is beyond my control. I am unsure whether this issue should be escalated to one of the founders, Mark or Andrew. I believe it is unfair that my account was blocked without notification or explanation. I created my account in [redacted] using a phone number as I didn't have an email address back then. In April [redacted], I received a message on my phone about the session expiring. When I tried logging in again, it failed, stating that the password had been changed, although I hadn't done so. Surprisingly, someone had added an unknown email address as I never had one linked to my account. Unfortunately, the phone number I originally registered with has been removed, making it difficult for me to recover my account. I need access to important documents stored there. I have a company page and 2 personal Facebook accounts under my name. The first account is an admin with control over the Ads account manager. Recently, my admin account was disabled, but the ads associated with it are still running unchecked. Despite contacting Facebook for assistance, they insist I reach out from the disabled account linked to the Ads manager. I'm stuck as the ads keep charging me daily without any oversight. No one seems to grasp the urgency of the situation or how to resolve it since my primary account is disabled.

I reported a post last night that I found disturbing. After being told it didn't violate community standards, I reported it again. Surprisingly, I received a warning for attempting to access it with specific keywords. Meanwhile, graphic content remains online. Despite reporting violent and inappropriate material, none of it seems to break your rules. It's perplexing that my efforts to guide others on finding and reporting such posts are considered a violation, leading to a potential 24-hour account shutdown. On a different note, I shared a video of a woman mistreating a child, which is still being reviewed. The inconsistency in your handling of reported content is confusing. Clarification on why my informational post is a breach while the original troubling content remains untouched would be greatly appreciated.

I recently misplaced my phone in an Uber and unfortunately haven't been able to locate it. This situation has led to a bigger problem since I haven't lost a phone in almost 8 years. The email associated with my Facebook account is [redacted], a mailbox I haven't accessed in about 6 years. Ever since I started using my first Android device, I switched over to my Gmail account, [redacted] I've tried reaching out to Yahoo, but I'm being asked for a phone number from [redacted] that I don't remember. My main concern is recovering my account, as it has precious pictures of my eldest daughter and my late father, which are irreplaceable due to a previous laptop theft. I need help clarifying Facebook Group Permissions. We run various lost and found pet pages where people post about lost or found pets that are then shared across multiple groups. When the posts are shared, the original poster cannot see the comments from other groups if they are not members. To address this issue, should the post be initially created on a personal public page and then shared for all comments to aggregate there? I also need to confirm if it's not possible to create a public group without mandatory membership. This situation is urgent as it has been ongoing, and we want to ensure that pet owners are notified promptly when their pets are found.

This business is my sole source of income. I was not aware of breaching any policies. There has been no nudity or racial comments on my website, whyitshop.com. I have been paying Facebook for approved ads to run until the end of August, yet my account is now disabled. If this was due to a report, it is a false accusation that needs to be investigated. Hello, I'm reaching out because my Facebook account was disabled shortly after creating it. I wasn't aware that a phone number was necessary and I don't currently own a phone. It would be expensive for me to purchase both a phone and a number just to regain access to my account. As a new Facebook user, I didn't realize this requirement. I've been using Facebook for 12 years without issues until this morning when I was unexpectedly logged out and asked to confirm my identity by submitting a photo. After doing so, I received a message stating that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there may be delays in reviewing my account, and I might not regain access.
