I used to be part of a political group involved in Dominican politics. I believe the ruling government members are responsible for having the group's page removed. The government controls the local media and even asked for Caricom countries to send their police force (RSS) to oversee our election. Police officers tear-gassed a whole community while they were sleeping in an attempt to disrupt a peaceful process. They've even resorted to using live ammunition, shooting community members.
